Quick question to you artists out there,
Do you guys go on google or something to either look at an Asari or simply just look at Liara in-game with the other Asari and just go off from that? Or just do whatever pops into your head and you draw?
I am pretty much getting a drawing pad altogether for some sketches of Krogan and Asari. I just cant draw a damn Asari >:C So perhaps by consensus or something, perhaps say whats best? es, its all about personal taste, but my personal taste sucks. I actually want to draw some fan-made Liara stuff and other things and put it in a time capsule and not forget about ME.
Friend of mine used a couple of these to get some good reference. Said they helped alot ;o

Those writers are always praised
for their work on Tuchanka/Rannoch and everything, but I'd like to think
they realize people do appreciate what they did for Liara and LotSB and
everything. It worries me that with how hostile the rest of the fanbase
is to Liara, they think no one appreciates their efforts.
I wouldn't say the "rest" of the fanbase are hostile towards her. It's more of a vocal minority thing, I'm sure.

I use the game as reference material, then let my minds eye take over! Being able to completely visualize what your goal is helps a lot, but it is also very helpful to have reference materials available to realize accurate details, like the Asari head fringe, and the unique facial markings Liara has. It also helps some people a lot to get a really good set of lines done to use as a guide to keep your internal vision on track.Deltakarma wrote...

I like the facial one. The body I do on my own, but the face helps.

I try to do that, but I fail.
My style of art is infrastructure and backgrounds. I just cant do people >:[
Hopefully the reference thing will help. Thanks again.

I think it was Karpyshyn in ME1, Walters for vanilla ME2, Weekes for LotSB, and I'm not sure for ME3.

From what I gather:
ME1: Drew
ME2: Drew, Patrick, and Mac
LOTSB: Patrick, and bits by Sylvf.
ME3: Sylvf, with some parts written by John D and Patrick.
Wow, thanks for the quick and thorough replies.
Here's to hoping at least Weekes, Sylvf and John D get their opinions heard when it comes to EC...

From Patrick Weekes' twitter:
Dear self, you've been spending too much time on Tumblr. "Has a lot of feels" as a VO comment does not help the actors.
So that's something, since I'm 90% sure he's working on the DLC.

It's possible that there will be more VO stuff on the Clarification DLC.

How dare you suggest we post less! The divine liara will be angry about the sudden halt of Liara-ite discussions! Do you have any idea what mind flaying feels like!?

Kaidan remarks that it's good you're there for her after Thessia. And Wrex has his "Liara is a better kisser than me" bit.

So when do others comment of Shepard and Liara's relationship? I'm pretty exhaustive about talking to everybody, but I can't think of many occasions.

but i am not sure if these dialogues are only if liara is you LI probably she says these phrases anyway

I think you're right that they're different for a romance, more emphasis on her needing you in particular rather than just needing someone to talk to.

"Finally! We can get more conversations in by the end of the game!"
To me, it seemed like anyone can just go in there and talk. I remember it vaguely but I dont remember much Romance option. Refresh me if I am wrong.

So I guess I'm pretty happy if Liara is involved this time at least. And who knows ... my wicked mind might actually like it
Yeah, without the romance Tali just says "You're a good friend" when you agree to talk to Liara.Wulfram wrote...

Quite baffling this small convo has different dialogue depending on the romance, but many scenes that actually involve Liara do not. Guess that's video game developement under strict time and budget restraints for you ...
Haha, well I wouldn't go that far. Huge parts of ME3 are great, huge parts of Liara in ME3 are great.Dude on Fire wrote...
