I found this picture while I was doing a Google search and I thought I would post it. Man this looks very heartwarming and makes me want to cuddle with Liara. :crying:

2 times.

First on Xbox 360 and the second time on PC with my canon paragon Male Shep, Michael.

Once. Though I've played through ME3 twice - my second run, I did because I lost my original save file so I needed to play through again anyway. Both are basically the same Shep - Paragon that romanced Liara. The second run I quit when I got to the "Assault Cerberus base" mission because I just have absolutely no desire to play through the end game again to get "choose what color you destroy the galaxy with"

One time... but with Monkey-Shep-Imposter (non-face import). I did start again with the patch... but thinking about the end and about how unfinished the game (mechanic-wise) really is, I can't do it all the way again.

Once only, with no mass effect related things planned for the near future either.

I simply cannot do a 2nd playthrough.

She would understand, I remember my playthrough in Tuchanka (ehh ). When Shepard got out the "cave" ruin, Liara said something about curing the genophage maybe not a right idea.

That is lovely!  Figured it would have come up in my daily deviantArt searches...

I've finished ME3 once, and am sitting just before starting the Rannoch quest chain on my NG+ Insanity playthrough.  Been too busy with MP and writing (and school and work and stuff) to bother finishing.

Don't know if this has been posted yet but, some band wrote a song just for Liara. It pretty good,

give it a listen.

A converstation, when there's nothin to say
Imagination, makes more real than a face
Intoxicated, by the taste of her smile
Clostrophobic, it's been more than a while

In the dead of night, via satelite
Will you be my love? Will you deep blue love?
Far in outer space, make more love than place,
For this deep blue love, you're my deep love

Sick as the silence you have sown,
Quick as the death that I have always known,
 Again
Out of darness black your eyes,
Fighting still fighting reaping spies
Touch me and tell me what you see,
Little by little you're mass effecting me

In the dead of night, via satelite
Will you be my love? WIll you deep blue love?
Far in outer space, make more love than place
For this deep blue love, you're my deep blue love

Also this song is better than I was expecting. The lyrics are a bit cheesy but I guess that's to be expected. Definitely worth listening to.

Once so far with my original boring Sheploo. I'm planning to take my custom Shepards up to the Cerberus base and save there until the Extended DLC comes out. I didn't hate the ending as much as many but I'd still rather wait before taking the Shepards I made myself through to the end.

At the moment I'm getting close to that point with my Femshep Helen.

I only did the one initial complete playthrough. I did try reimporting the ME3 character for another playthrough, but I haven't really had the motivation to play much - over a month now and I'm still only about half way through. I did replay some individual parts of the game, just to refresh my memory or try some other outcomes.

I do play multiplayer regularly, which ironically, I only started playing to improve my singleplayer EMS. At least I promoted enough characters to ensure at least 5000 EMS in any future playthroughs I might do, regardless if multiplayer is dead by that time and there's no other way to raise galactic readiness beyond 50%.

1 time with my canon Femshep, but I have 2 file saves, one die, one live.
I'm playing 2 NG+ playthroughs. My canon Femshep NG+ and my friend's Kyle Shepard NG+.
This Kyle Shepard was a Sheploo but I turned him into a Broshep, and I used gibber save editor to fix his romance in ME2, no way I let him romance someone else. This Kyle Shepard didn't play ME1 too.
It's time for some MP. My account is doctorwho173. I'd be happy to add you guys. :D

heh Well that's actually just the flashback at the beginning of the chapter, so that's all there is to that little tidbit. It will, however, be pertinent to the rest of the chapter. But that's still probably a week and a half out. Nothing I can show for this chapter just yet.

Yeah, I know.
Was just my sleepy delirious way of saying that it would very well work as an independent story on itself, great stuff. ;)

In other news...  I just posted the next chapter to Returned. Decided to break up this part of the story into three sections, so the stuff you've read today probably won't see the light of day for another two weeks. Hopefully this is enough to keep you occupied!

So the story was 25 years after the reaper war. Now there was "5 years later", so now we're at 30 years after the war?
She spent 5 years on random jobs while being depressed without Liara... just... whoa... :o

I know, that got me too. The grief was still palpable though, to be in that much pain after 5 years. Queen were right, too much love will kill you.

I liked it. Although I have one nitpick to make.

You mention that Reaper tech was involved in Project Lazarus, which is wrong.

Once but I'm working on my Cannon Femshep Liaramancer NG+ playthrough right now. Can't decide if I want to actually finish it or stop where I'm at, since its right before Cerberus Base Assualt mission.

If I'm correct, then the reason the offspring doesn't look identical to the mother is NOT because they're a mix between the parents' DNA, but because the DNA is somehow randomized at impregnation. It's all a lot more mind-melding-oriented than the kind of breeding we're familiar with... and I'm sure there are people who know a lot more about this than me.

And miss the romance scene AND the gift scene on Earth?

Right after the gift scene is as good a time as any to stop playing and start your headcanon ending;)

Two complete ME3 playthroughs for me as of yesterday. Had lots of fun with my second run, but I admit it got harder and harder to keep the motivation up the closer I was to the last missions.

In the end, I even played through the full destruction ending (to get to see the "Shepard twitch") but I left my emotions back at the camp before the final attack. No way I let starchild and his companions stir me up again like they did the first time.

Wreav's in charge of the Krogan, and
Shepard decides they're not going to save the galaxy from the reapers
only to have Wreav order the Krogan to wreck it. So Shep sabotages the
genophage cure, going with either the shoot Moridin in the back option
or by persuading him. Liara later finds out the full details, how does
she react?

I guess Liara would certainly see and understand the reasons for that decision. But she wouldn't like it non the less.
If Shep shot Mordin in the back it might even distress her somewhat, putting a bit of a strain on their relationship. Nothing "fatal" but she would have to go through a bit of emotional work before returning to "normal mode" with Shep.

And I finally caught up with the thread again. I read through the discussion about the infamous picture of Liara's "midriff" from a couple of days back. And while this is quite late, and the most important points have allready been made, as the creator of that and other pictures of nude Liara, I would like to add a personal comment. Specifically regarding what is and is not shown.

For me, the point was to make an aesthetically pleasing picture of Liara's abdomen - with all that implies, be it informational or erotic in nature - but nothing more and nothing less. It wasn't supposed to be about Liara's character, but add something very specific to her we didn't get to see before (in official artwork at least [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/wink.png[/smilie]). Showing anything more than what is now in the picture would
only have distracted from this initial idea in my view.

I know that choice also makes it easier to misread the image as something that wasn't intended. But since this thread is one, if not the place for people who allready know what lies beyond the skin and flesh, I never thought of it as too much of a problem when I posted it here. (And from what I gathered, most people's "problem" in afromentioned discussion was indeed the way the picture got posted (again and again) and not it's content.)

So what I'm trying to say is, if you have a problem with one of my pictures per se
a) feel free to tell me. I might not necessarily agree with it, but as long as it's civilized I'm allways looking for all kinds of feedback.
B) know, that even if it might not seem that way at first, I allways put a bit of thought into this stuff. I have no interest in turning Liara into nothing but a hot sex object ... :)

Haha, nice picture. Is that painted or modded?
€dit  (Fullscreen says it's painted)

But why should children allways have to look exactly like their parents? I know of enough examples where that's not the case ...

I think you are correct on this one. The child is a not complete copy of their mother due to the genes being randomized. Otherwise clones would have been produced.

More genophage discussion... yes, your decision is sensible assuming that curing the genophage is permanent. Problem is, that it isn't permanent - the salarians "fixed" it once, and if nothing else works orbital bombardment with dreadnoughts should do the trick since the krogan don't have a fleet

Further, Mordin is (probably) the only person able to save the krogan whilst anyone with a fleet can kill them. Given that the asari are fairly reluctant to take decisive action in general, I'd be fairly surprised if Liara supported murdering Mordin ("it's not really Mordin talking, just his guilt") to seal their doom.
