I'd like to see Liara and Ashley become friends in ME3. Ashley didn't really trust Liara in ME1 (I suppose she had reason) but she must have got over that by ME3, plus Liara's come out of her shell a bit since ME1 so maybe she'll be more likely to socialise with non-Shepard members of the crew. Of course now that Liara has given Shep to Cerberus and become the Shadow Broker Ashley may have even more reason not to trust her.

I'd hope that all the survivors of the Normandy's crazy mission after Saren would be friends, or at least talk during reunions.

Yes, that includes Ash and Liara speaking to each other.

They were kind of out of touch ever since Shepard died, so I think she simply never had the chance.
It would be interesting to hear some banter between squadmates and Liara on this matter actually, maybe a bit of drama too, but not too much.

I always felt that Liara really didn't think that it would work. She just gave Shep's body just in case there was a million to one shot that it would work. Why tell others if the odds are not in Shep's favor of returning? I can only imagine what she felt when she heard rumors that Shep was seen alive. How did she respond? Did she think that it was a clone? Was it just lies? Or could Shepard really be alive? If she romanced Shepard the anxiety would be 1000X more.

I know what you mean, You'd think that Liara would be overwhelmed (granted you romanced her) to see Shepard alive again, but all we get is a kiss that she interrupts >_<
But lets not get into that beaten up topic
I can only imagine how pissed off Liara was when she realised that Cerberus lied to her about Shepard's odds.
No wonder she headshots a Cerberus soldier without any hesitation

The best thing about that scene is Garrus rifle butting then Liara putting a cap in his head. Teamwork at it's finest. That and my two closest buddies have my back.

I don't think Garrus is rifle-butting the Cerberus soldier. Looks more like just using his left hand punch.

I imagine Cerberus wanted to keep this a secret at the time. Afterwards, when the Lazarus project was finished, it was 2 years later and Liara may not have felt like talking about it. As to how Liara is going to explain this, if she does at all, I have no idea...

But who is going to tell them Liara is now the Shadow broker? My Shepard certainly won't....
If it comes to pass that the base is destroyed and Liara safely extracted from the crashing ship, naturally Ashley/Kaidan will have some questions though it would no longer matter because then the shadow broker is gone...

I assume she'll just stand up again after the battle is over. If not, I have to remember to take a disposable squad member with me to that mission.... I KNEW keeping all squad members alive during the suicide mission would have it's uses later on:pinched:

Well our squaddies have been knocked unconscious by a Yahg and been crushed under these heavy metal things after defeating the human reaper so I'm hoping getting crushed by that mech won't be too fatal to her
