I'm tossing all touhou characters into the category of being "sexualized little girls" which is pretty much true, regardless of their actual personalities. Just look at them.

I really did want to end it there but, are you serious? You're going to completely disregard their personalities and the fact that a good deal of them aren't even little girls, because it doesn't fit into your opinion of them? My, you sound an awful lot like those Liara haters I hear you complaining about.

Either way, that's all I have to say on the matter since it is completely off topic. Back to Liara.

I think what I'd like to see most of all in merchandise, is just something like a keychain or something. Just something I can casually carry with me everywhere without it being as awkward as say, a full fledged shirt or something.

True. I like the N7-logo shirt (tho I don't actually have it) because it shows that you like Mass Effect without shouting out anything that might be awkward and only like-minded fans recognize it. Nobody else even knows it's a "gamer shirt".

I tried to think up something smaller Liara related, like a keychain as you said, damn hard actually for me atleast. Maybe just her name in blue letters with some nice 3D styling, dunno.

But if there were a Liara statue that looked exactly like she's in the game and it wouldn't cost hundreds, I'd definitely buy one!

I'm kind of addicted to the N7 logo stuff because it is perfect for everyday wear that only other ME players tend to recognize, my manager who is also a gamer didn't recognize it and thought my N7 Elite hoody was something related to motorcycles. I did have to buy the Liara shirt though because I'd been waiting for anything in the Bioware store with Liara on it since ME1. I'm kinda hoping for a nice poster to replace the poster of Leliana hanging on the wall right now because as much as I adore Leliana she doesn't hold a candle to Liara.

I've seen a fighting game and an RTS that was a bit like a tower defense. The roster for both was literally all little girls.

Yeah, the n7 logo stuff is generally really nice because it's more subtle. It's not at all obvious it's a videogame reference if you don't already get the reference. The n7 hoodie especially is nice.

Just stepping in to share one of the pics that were taken last night at the Newport Beach Film Festival showing of Ali Hillis' new film "Nesting". The cast and crew took front stage after the showing and did a Q&A ... when she started to speak the director joked, "You have a great voice, Ali!" She gave a small laugh as she said, "Thanks!"

After the showing I ran into her at the post party and she was once again really sweet. But I did refrain from talking about Liara and instead discussed the film  plus a song that she sings in the movie. It made us both laugh at it. Let's just say that San Francisco won't like it much, unless they have a sense of humor.

Thanks for sharing PMC.
I saw a trailer, but I'm not into this kind of movie, but I would love to see a clip, where Ali is singing. ^.^

Kumquats ... it's a cute indie film and there was a brief moment when Ali started to tear up after her husband made a hurtful but honest comment ... I almost threw popcorn at the screen (joking).
Film is releasing May 11th.

I really wanted to grab Ali and log on to this thread and have her say hi and answer a few questions but being carried out by security was not on my "to-do" list last night.

Because I met with her in March (ME3 Launch) and also in San Diego (ComiCon) when she saw me there was a recognition in her eyes. But I doubt that she could place why she recognized me. Did I put her out of her misery? Nope. LIARA was not mentioned and my phone with the Liara wallpaper was not in view ... No N7 on me. I was undercover.

Maybe next time the setting will be right to get her to come on this thread. That would be cool.

Man, not even mentioning Liara or anything is really missing an opportunity! It's not like the voicework she did for Liara wasn't really good, on top of the writing for the character. She really did sell it.

I've got it, but it's such a huge image that I can't just upload it to imgur or anything, so I don't really know how to get it to you.

I've talked Liara with her in the past so last night the focus was on her latest work, "Nesting".

But I'm hoping that for my buddies here she will one day step in if at least to say, "hi". Maybe answer a few questions. One could hope.

Liara Perfume Oil - I couldn't but laugh. :o
Liara Wooden Peg Figure - Creepy.

The idea of a keychain got stuck in my head, thanks Aristobulus. Not Liara, but a nice N7 keychain. Quite costly but yeah.

Haha, you should have thrown the popcorn with the words: Don't make her cry or she will flay you alive with her mind. ^.^
No I bet it's a cute movie, but what I saw in the trailer... nah it's not a movie for me.

I hope Miss Ali Hillis never visits this thread, with all the 'revealing' blueness.
Just joking, Jack's VA knows that we call ourselves 'Jackolytes' and I know that she was in the forum for a short time, which is pretty cool. :D

That doesn't surprise me about C Taylor (Jack). She is a ball of mess that you know would be just hilarious to hang out with. With her learning the ukelele ... I now see Jack trying to as well. Wouldn't that be a scream! Image IPB

Poor Ali probably would pick the day that the thread is full of naughties ... but then again she would just tease the crap out of us. She is really cute when she flirts (as Liara).

So, is anyone else bothered by how different Aethyta looks in ME3 compared to ME2? I really couldn't recognize her at all. Then again all the great dialogue she had made me forget that quickly.

I got confused. Stayed out of the game all day but have checked the forums in between playing my new Adept through ME2.

So, I avoided ME3, which they can track, and just admitted to playing ME2 instead.

I'm so weak.

She does look different, but remember that Aethyta's looks in ME2 change based around how drunk you are!

At any rate, I recognized her as soon as I saw her, so she still looks similar enough.

Ah, I know. Loved that PMC incorporated the halucination dialogue. Took the cake for me. That's got to cause some problems for them once Liara realizes she's not halucinating and that EW was actually being rude to her. lmao

wait PMC is writing more, can someone link it please.... I'm starting to feel left out.

@PMC  you met Ali and you didn't even ask her about Liara, what did you think she'd be weirded out by you and your hatred of blue babies *throws blue babies at PMC*.....  sorry that hasn't been done in too long.  and in all seriousness i'm happy you didn't ask her about Liara and focused on her current projects just because it would probably be seen as rude to ignore her new stuff in favor of her old stuff.

I sat in front of Dead Space 2 all day. Singing "Smoke Weed Every Day"-remixes made it so much more playable. (Smoke-smoke smoke-smoke smoke-smoke smoke-weed... Smoke-weed-every-day, Smoke-weed-every-day, Smokeweedeveryday).
Yes, I'm quite abstract.

Also, yes, it's actually really difficult to stay away from ME3. It's not a coinsidence that BioWare released the challange for this weekend in particular. But we'll Hold The Line regardless.
