The only sad thing about round two is, that you always hope against all odds, that Joker will shut up.... just once. *shakes fist*

I think the sad thing about this scene is the fact that Shep took the time to get dressed. Why would you do that? After a lovely night with the love of your life you stay in bed...do some cuddling or whatever it is that pleases you....but getting dressed? I don't think so!
I found that quite disturbing in DA when my warden woke up in her armor after a night with Leliana.  And I still don't like it with Shep in ME.

Which is exactly why I hope that Joker would try taking on Vega in hand-to-hand combat.
Vega will win in just a few seconds.

Nah I think he just hase a VERY VIVID imaginationImage IPB. Now since my Femshep is a total Liaramancer she would gladly allow Liara to bug her cabin even with video. Give her something to enjoy while they aren't together.Image IPB

I perfer the "renegade" after sex dialoge. I love Hale's delivery of "Ready for round 2?", while "You're amazing" (or is it incredible, I can't recall) line was OK but nothing special.

I am pretty sure it is "incredible" as you say.

For me it is more the meaning of the line than its delevery, and playing a mshep I don't hear Hale's delivery anyway.

What's wrong with ready for round 2. IMO It's so amazing that Shep wants round 2 ^_^

nothing at all wrong with round two, my Shep would gladly continue had there been time, I just like the other one better, feels more... tender I think.
I just think that after my Shepard has had the most amazing experience in his life that he would compliment the one he experienced it with and who is dearest to him.

He even has cameras in here! I've only found three but I doubt they were the only ones.

Yeah, my Shep has nothing to hide from her, except that time .... Traynor lets the wc room open @.@ what the hell she's doing in my cabin, close the door please. Liara please come and kick her out of my room with biotic. Oh Paragon line: invitive her to shower, renegade line: it's not better, suggesting something more than playing chess. None of my friend let the wc room open even if I let they shower in my house, that scene is very weird and awkward.

Even friends trying to make it very, very, very clear that they want to be more than friends? [Never mind the rather awkward "I play for keeps line" - do people go from "co-worker" to "committed romantic relationship" in 15min?]

Phew! It was hard staying off BSN all day. I see you've been busy.

Anyway, regarding that less-anthropomorphic asari thing? I typed this up, I should probably post on FFN or something, but I'd like some opinions if you've got them. Either here or PM is fine.

I was planning on writing some more entries, but this one just concentrates on the… interesting … parts of physiology.

It's…clinical?…but adult, so maybe a T rating and probably NSFW, depending on where you work…

Wow, how very detailed and well thought out. I like this kind of thing. I find this all very interesting. You must have spent a fair amount of time on this.

Im curious, how did you decide on some parts? Are you from a Biology background? Things like the double spine and triple muscle groups are new to me;P Though interesting.

I think a working Title could be something like "Things you wanted to ask about Asari anatomy but were afraid to ask untill after your Third Martini" ;P

Now I hold off inviting Traynor up until after I'm locked in with Liara. That way you get a paragon option that doesn't offer her the use of your shower.

I agree about the clothes, it just feels weird that Shep is already out of bed and fully dressed at the end of the ME1 love scene. Maybe Shep is still just too set in her military ways, especially since they are in the middle of a mission. Still, I'm glad that in ME3 they get to wake up in bed together, without clothes... makes the scene so much better.

I do have an issue with the 'love of your life' part though... Goddess, I know I'm gonna get flak for this, but after I recently replayed some parts of ME1, including the pre-Ilos love scene and most of the Liara dialogues, I got the impression that Liara/Shep relationship at that point was a lot less serious, more casual, almost seemed like a 'there may be no tomorrow' type fling. Maybe I just got spoiled by the quality of Liara/Shep scenes in LotSB and ME3 (and even vanilla ME2), that far better convey the level of intimacy and affection between them...

Nah, I prefer that "friend" tell me in person or leave a message or do something romantic. I don't like sexual ways to admit your feeling to someone you love. It makes me think relationship with Traynor is just a fling. Cortez is better. That's why I love Liara, she told Shep her feeling in ME1, lean her head on Shep's shoulder in ME3.

Thanks! <3 It actually didn't take very long at all…it was all sort of ‘there’ to be written. It's easy enough to kind of start with your own physiology and extrapolate small changes from there!

Just a slightly sciency background, and an interest in puzzling things out :)

LOL, see, I kind of approached it from the thought that the asari have basically a ‘process’ for this, a template they can use to introduce new species because they actively seek them out for procreation.

Well, yeah. 'love of your life' is maybe too strong an expression to describe the ME1 relationship. But you get what I mean yes? Even if it is less serious, etc, it is Liara's first time melding with someone and depending on how your play your Shep it might be more fitting if Shepard wakes up next to her. Hmm, I would say it would be more fitting, period! :)

Well now you spoiled the entire TurnOnTurnOff event. It will be your fault if EA doesn't do what we want.

Ehem...I didn't last the entire 24 hours either though....didn't play ME3 or any ME but occasionally hopped on BSN :innocent:

While I don't agree, not entirely at least, there was scenes that felt off to me, particularly where they first start the relationship.

I can't recall the exact scene but where they talk about "being swept up by the storm" or something similar it felt... I don't know artificial and slightly false.
Everything since that scene however has been of such quality that it is little more than a minor annoyance I have to get through on the way the briliant stuff.

I agree with you on both things. I'm not gonna say it felt like a "fling" in ME1, but it definitely doesn't feel like either of them is as committed to the other as they are in LotSB and ME3. Which, I think, makes sense, considering by both of those they have been together for a lot longer. I mean, there's a reason they never confess love until the end of ME3.

Shep already up and dressed in ME1, does have a lot to do with making it seem more casual, though, and like he's less invested. Like they had sex, and then that was it for him, he's moving on. Whereas in ME3, they have sex but then just fall asleep in eachothers arms, both still naked...Definitely more connection there.

That happens when you don't take the time for that kind of stuff and do it just before the world is about to end. You have to be prepared at all times. ^.^
My Shepard even sleeps with her Claymore under her pillow. Safety first!

I always took that as more along the line of "I would have loved to continue but duty calls", that no matter how much Shepard would like be more with Liara there is this whole "the fate of the galaxy is at stake" thing which will not just wait another five minuttes.
