I do have to say that was a very long 24 hours to be off of BSN even though I had to cave and log in for just a couple minutes to see if I had any PMs or anything but then I was right back off of it. It is nice to be back though. Now I gotta finish reading the last couple chapter of Dark Energy 2 since I just can't stop reading it!

Just...don't kill me. I...uh...have a family, or some ****...

Lol no definately not gonna do that I want you to finish it since you left off with that monsterous cliffhanger...Image IPB But you havn't disappointed me yet.Image IPB

Well let's hope it keeps to that trend...but, yeah....umm...well. Can't say anything without giving the end of DE2 away but...just....Image IPB

Lol as long as you don't kill off too many main characters or make Shep and Liara split up and hate each other then its all good. I did make and account on FF.net just so I could review your story, username is Ultimaspike, not that I will ever write any FF since I was really horrible at english in school. I guess thats what I get for being a math and science person. Image IPB

On a different note, don't know if very many people have seen this but Jessica Merizan tweeted this survey from a german fan site. I took it earlier and it was a pretty decent survey. It sounds like they are going to send it to Bioware too. Take it and be heard maybe Bioware will listen to us!!! Yes it does have an english version its not just in german.

Took that survey. It actually does seem to be a well put together survey. My only problem with it is the "will you buy more DLC question" doesn't have good enough answers - there's no real option to say what is the truth for me, which is that I will only if the ending gets adequately fixed, but right now my motivation is shot.

Ah you mean the one that is advertised in the forums for quite a while? yes it is put together quite well. Only thing that bothered me was that they didn't disentangle the MP from the SP part. There were still things to answer even after selecting "Never" when asked about my MP habits. Besides that, it's quite a good survey!

Why am I not surprised that the picture features ridiculous cleavage?

I don't really like that picture because of that cleavage, and her eyes are somehow weird. Still skillfully painted.

maybe it's because her eyes are grey?  or atleast that's what i'm seeing

Agreed, the painting is very skillfully done but the cleavage and her grey eyes which have a strange non-Liara look to them kind of ruins it for me as well, dosen't really feel like Liara to me.

I also took that survey, I liked it. Though I don't particularly cared about the MP questions either.

It's light, casual clothing though. Do you think it's out of character for Asari to wear something like that, at home on Thessia? I mean, if you do, sure, but I don't think it's particularly out of character.

Though yeah, the eyes could be better done too.

How about beach Liara?;P

Ive always thought this one was nice, and on a lighter/happier note. Like Shepard is taking a picture of her on a trip to the beach :)

It's nice, but in that case I think that beachwear looks really bad and awkward on her. That's my only real complaint with it though, he did a decent job on the background and her face and expression and everything. It's just the clothing was an odd choice.

Its light and airy, perfect for the beach...at least i think

I dont think that Asari have the same feelings towards exposed cleavage as Humans do, since they are all female. They probably wouldent think its a big deal at all, imo.

Folks, she and I talk on a constant basis, and I can say with certainty is that she's a tease, if nothing else.

She enjoys playing all of us like a punchpress!  And we love her for it, in some strange and bizzare way. XD

Yeah, it's been said that asari are more comfortable expressing their sexuality etc. What humans on Earth would see as too revealing could very well be considered normal everyday clothing on Thessia. Most of the asari in the games wear something quite revealing/exposing, but not Liara and I honestly prefer it that way. I'm not saying that couldn't be something that Liara wears on Thessia as there wouldn't be other species around to judge her as "just another dancer asari". That seemed to be quite a common preconception among other species.

-

"though some asari have been known to start families as early as 100 years old" -wikipedia
Does anyone know where that bit of info is from? Books, games, somewhere else?

-

Something non-liara:

"In 2186 during the Reaper invasion, the raloi delegation withdraws from the Citadel. Unwilling and unable to fight the Reapers, the raloi decide to isolate themselves on Turvess and destroy any satellites and observation equipment in orbit around their planet. They hope that the Reapers will see them as a pre-spaceflight civilization and spare their planet."

Nice plan, haha. It's from the citadel news on those televisions, should go and listen to all of the news. Seems to have some nice background stuff of unheard species etc.

Has anyone read Liara's Visit? :o I liked it a lot.

I read it recently, even made a quick comment on how much I liked it several pages ago.

I have since read another great fanfic that deals with a similar theme (Liara remembering Shepard long after his/her death) - Eternity's Last Embrace. I wish I shared the authors skill with words, just so I could properly convey how amazing I found this peace of fiction.

Thanks for the link, will read when I have the time!
Yeah, I wish I could write or paint or atleast something... anything goddamit!

Was browsing upcoming movie trailers. Watched The Dark Knight Rises trailer, there was this text "The epic conclusion to the Dark Knight legend.". Mass Effect 3 came to my mind instantly and now I expect the movie to be total garbage. ME3 has scarred me for life with all the empty promises, haha.

That was how I felt reading theMarshall's "A Good Night" yesterday, even had to temporarily stop my own fanfic writing because I was overwhelmed at the quality in contrast to my own work.
