well maybe its a possibility because i read that the devs said the conclusion(the incoming dlc) will have many varied endings so.. who knows? maybe if you choose destroy maybe you can reunite with your LI in general. fingers crossed!Aristobulus500 wrote...
Yeah if the ending DLC comes out and there's still no way for Shepard to survive and reunite with Liara - and also not destroy the galaxy - ....well, I'm gonna be pissed.

Something this picture gets right which most others miss is the fact that babies aren't just tiny adults. Most other Asari (and Turian) infant pictures represent them with fully developed features (especially the head crests). It's more likely that their features start out shaped a bit differently and grow into what we see in the adult form. Our features tend to start out smaller, softer, and rounder... then become more defined as they grow in size. Look at our two main cartilage based features. Our ears grow the quickest, being almost fully developed by about five years (probably because hearing proved to be more important to our survival)... but our noses grow well into puberty.
Their crests could go either way, but I would imagine that they would take a bit longer to become fully developed just based on the sheer quantity of cartilage the body would have to produce to reach the full size. If they don't serve a vital functional purpose (I don't recall hearing of one), the body probably wouldn't have evolved to put them at the highest priority for development as that would take resources away from developing more essential functions (the main reason our brain is so abnormally large in comparison to the rest of our body at birth). That seems to suggest slower (or at least delayed) development. Their crests might even mature like a secondary sex characteristic during their puberty equivalent.
On a somewhat related note, this presentation is pretty interesting:

That, and if they were going to have face markings that they were kinda mishmashed and unrefined until they grew into them.

I guess it depends on what purpose the head tentacles serve, though.

Folks, she and I talk on a constant basis, and I can say with certainty is that she's a tease, if nothing else.
She enjoys playing all of us like a punchpress! And we love her for it, in some strange and bizzare way. XD
That's good to know, not that I had any doubt but you know its still nice to hear. And we do definately love her for the way she can play us.

I would imagine their crests are barely even formed, and are flat against the head. Otherwise that "hook" on the back of their head would cause problems during birth.

No idea if it's real, but I hope it is. A map on Thessia would be awesome. I kindof have my doubts though, I mean what the **** is a Phoenix?

Interesting, I wouldn't mind more maps but I'm not sure about more race/classes to be honest. I would rather see a new enemy type like The Collectors, I'm sure they could provide a decent retcon as to why they are introducing them into multiplayer.
Not one mention of Liara in my post shame on me better put in a picture then.

Even though the ending is depressing it still has some great scenes with Liara, maybe when my new graphics card gets here I will be able to take better ones then my outdated card is allowing me to. Anyway Liara smirk/smile in the Gift Scene Dialog.

Very much this. I've got an unpublished, unfinished fic where I talk about very young asari and how the crest doesn't quite reach all the way to the back of the skull. Because of our inordinately large heads (compared to the rest of our bodies), humans are born very underdeveloped in order to be able to not kill our mothers during childbirth. I imagine most of the other sapient species in the galaxy would be much the same way.

Hey you guys so i have one more new fic, it's titled "One Last Date" and i just wrote it as a little ditty for reaching 1000 pageviews on my DA account. If you want to check it out and leave critique's comments feel free to. It takes place after the Romance lock in and before Cronos Station and is definately lighthearted. Oh well I'm gonna stop talking now and just leave the link

They really should've had a scene like this with Liara, especially if you told her in the first scene on the Normandy that you still wanted to be with her. It's just a little strange that you never get to do anything with her, really. She spends all that time around the cafe in the commons area and you get one small chat with her.
Something even slightly comparable to what you do with Garrus would've been nice.
This isn't the most well drawn picture, and some of the proportions and perspectives are off, but I like the expression on her face, and her overall pose. She really does look relaxed and in love there, just listening to Shepard.

But yeah, everyone should've got something fun to do like with Garrus. I like the small gestures of affection but somehow the game focuses too much at "dat sex scene". :/

I wish that Marauder Shields comic never tells who Shepards love is, I'd hate it to be anyone else than Liara but that will make others mad. Would be better to leave that out.
