I don't really mind auto-dialogue, as long as it's reasonably limited. Maybe ME3 went a bit too far in a few scenes, but it was mostly well enough in line with what I felt my Shep would say. But I can understand others would find it more annoying in many situations. I understand they can't hit the right balance in their first attempt, they'll probably get better with future titles (whether I'll be playing those is another issue).
Auto-dialogue does solve an issue I had with some dialogues in ME1/ME2 though - those times when you are presented with 2 or 3 choices, but Shep says the exact same thing, regardless of which option you choose. So at least there's that :)

On another topic, one we discussed a couple days ago - there was a thread today about asari religion and someone apparently decided to ask @SylvF about Liara's beliefs: twitter.com/#!/Sylvf1/status/198138455535005696. Guess we can stop obsessing over the meaning of all those 'by the Goddess' exclamations :)

Nice find.
I agree with what you said, I was mostly fine with the auto-dialog. It had its ups and downs, some where briliant and others were downright cringeworhty (I am looking at you Auto-dialog to Jacob Image IPB).

Though I have to admit that what I miss most about the dialog (especially with Liara, beyond her first conversation) is simply to be able to ask a series of "investgate" questions to get some additional insigt or clarity into the characters and their situation/life/beliefs etc.

So, basically they solved being lazy by admitting they're lazy

No. They just removed the pointless illusion of choice in certain areas and in doing so created a more fluid cinematic experience.

I love LotSB auto dialogues. But I miss Liara's comment about the mako everytime. Should have crashed on a mine. I wish we could talk to any squad member in a mission like ME1 mix with auto dialogue like ME2,3.
Liara's home world comic is written by her writer in LotSB and ME3. I expect it to be awesome.

Only reason i got LotSB was Liara and will be the case for the new comic book on her. The cars interaction were classic Liara, made it worth that much more in gold. Really wish their was a way to save Vasir though it was cool to see a Asari spectre again.

I don't see it, she loks more mature sure, but I would tsay hat it went from early or mid-twenties in the eariler games to at most late-twenties.
And if anything like her beautiful eyes I see it more as a retcon of her appearence than any actual change she undergoes.

However I have to admit that the increased breast size does bother me slightly, I loved my well-prortioned asari.
But for me this seem to be primarily in her LotSB outfit, I personally don't think it is as apparent in her comando armour or in the intimate mind-meld scene where she is naked, so perhaps that armour is simply more padded in the chest area.

That definitely seems to be the case. She looks much more...reasonably proportioned, you can especially see this, when she's naked even than in the LotSB armor.

Kindof strange because if memory serves they didn't balloon her like that in LotSB itself.

Also I don't understand saying Liara looks a lot older. If anything, I think she looks pretty young in ME3. I'd say, ranking her looks from oldest looking to youngest, Vanilla ME2 > ME1 > ME3 > LotSB

So to me, in ME3 she actually looks younger than she does at almost any other time.

Also, on the auto dialogue thing - while it's true a mix between how the various games handled it would be nice, the game was, frankly, EXTREMELY rushed and so it was kindof a choice of one or the other. If they had spent another year in development maybe we could've had the best of both worlds.

I certainly do miss how in ME1 squadmembers would talk about various areas and such like that. It also would've been nice to, with Liara, be able to call her up to the cabin every now and then like you could do LI's in ME2.

It's all a matter of perspective. Sometimes in ME3 you see some deep rinkles in her face... or maybe I'm just a heathen.

But i love those lovely curves Liara has, even matriarch Aethyta mentioned Benezias rack. I agree i would have waited another year so that everything was played out nicely. like the latter points you make.

WowImage IPB Im stealing this. This is right up my Shepard's ally, and mine;P She can throw him around any day, RAWR!...sorry;P  A little pain is a good thing...but maybe thats too much information..;P

I like how Liara looks a little bit more mature. Her face seems more angular and refined. Besides, women look good in their 30s anyway;P It seems thats when their most developed. It makes sence to me that her Bust would get larger as she aged. And plus she is from a family(benezia) that is just endowed like that. She cant help it.Image IPB

Yeah, I probably expressed myself unclear to what I actually meant, I definately don't mean that she looks old or even really older, she appear easily stil as young as always but she definately looks more mature or "grown up" (damn I hate those phrases sometimes) from LotSB and onwards.

Though not having played ME1 for a considerable period of time I might just not remeber straight.

Liara still looks pretty young to me. Like just out of college sort of age

Though the new skin texture makes it a little harder to assign an equivalent human age, I guess.

I love the new skin texture... it makes asari look like more than just blue humans. (not that they did before, but it distinguishes them more)

edit: I'd also like to throw my vote in a different direction for this age discussion. I think EVERYONE looks older from the lighting and higher res textures. Kind of like how when everyone got HD tv in their homes all the news casters had a lot more wrinkles.

Oh, I really liked it, think it gave her a more interesting, and for me for some reason appealing appereance.
