This actually makes a lot of sense and works to explain some things like their coloration, and why they have tentacles on their head and such like that. I like it.

I actually think what Javik said was true, because it would explain the appearance of the asari. They were probably more mammalish early on, but then gained new features such as their head crests and textured skin after a long period of melding with a reptilian species.

It could of course just be him being racist, but it seems to make sense to me, and it would be a rather strange thing to just come up with.

There is a rise in Liara & Javik paring fanfics, I really feel uncomfortable whenever I see one. I play From Ashes DLC just before Cronos Station in my first playthrough and Javik said he was gonna go to the hanar's world after the war and live like a king.
I don't think Liara's gonna meld with him if she stucks on that planet <_<<_<<_<  I'm not sure about others's Liara, but my Shepard's Liara won't do it <_<<_<

I completely agree with you Arcataye but I'm an eternal optimist. I fully expect there to be hand waving and something undesirable but I also think they realised that they did make a mistake and are going to correct it. Hope for the best, plan for the worst.

Yep. If you tell a ****-joke, it's still gonna be ****, even if you polish it. That's not gonna change. It'll get shinier and somewhat easier to accept if it's polished, but it'll still be ****.

I think its a bit lazy on thier part. Javik and Liara dont even seem to really like eachother personally. People are probably pairing them, JUST BECAUSE of Liara's past infatuation with the Prothiens. Personally I dont think that just because she was interested in the Prothiens means she is going to jump up and down for Javik like a Japanese school girl. She dosent act like that in the game anyway. That reduces her character a bit. Me no like.

PS. Javik said that? Oh i thought he said that he was going to kill himself after the war.

1. If you don't talk to Javik about the memory shard and do the paragon interruption in the citadel scene, he'll go to the hanar's wolrd.
2. If you tell him to touch the MS, he'll suicide.
3 If you tell him not to touch the MS and do the paragon interruption in the after Thessia mission scene, he'll write a book with Liara.

I can perfectly read fics where Liara is with someone that make sense, like Miranda or Kaidan. But Grunt? thats just too far-fetched for me.

Not a bug. The message where that can be read is recieved earlier than the dialog where Javik can end up deciding to commit suicide after the war.

My reaction when I hear Tali talking to him after she got drunk was "wth you're saying Tali. I hate you"
She said "Thank you Javik for talking with Liara blad blad... because you like her"
Then she said " blad blad you like me too..."
I was "ok, she is drunk, I will forgive her"

I can perfectly read fics where Liara is with someone that make sense, like Miranda or Kaidan. But Grunt? thats just too far-fetched for me.

Heh the last one wasnt really serious . Liara with grunt confuses me as much as the people asking for Wrex to be allowed as a LI
