Honestly from the fanfics I've read I'm totally on board with Jack/Miranda as a pairing. It makes a weird kind of sense in my mind.

Although I also kinda think Vega secretly crushes on Cortez so...*shrug* Is it weird that I'm straight but I think most of the ME relationships work better as homosexual or xenosexual ones?

Her voice works perfectly with Ali Hillis's voice. Just my opinion anyway.

Agreed their voices got great compatibility and chemistry. Probably partially to do with their experience in voice acting compared to Meer's relative lack.

In any case...why is it weird for it to feel right to a guy to play a femshep? I'm a guy, I play femshep because it felt right for the character. I always choose my characters based on what feels right and that tends to vary between male and female; gut instinct mainly. In Oblivion and Skyrim I always, always play male; I've tried to make female characters but it doesn't feel right to me. Similarly I've played a half-series playthrough of Mass Effect with a maleshep (mainly to get ME2 paramour achievement) and I just can't complete it because it "feels wrong" to me.

Thats why I was really irritated by that comment a few pages back implying that the only reason guys would play femshep and romance Liara is for "hawt lesbian sex scenes". No...I play a femshep because it felt right. I romanced Liara because THAT felt right as well. And thats the end of it really; they make a cute couple. That's not to say the sex scenes AREN'T hot, but thats why I made my decisions...because it felt right...not for FemshepxLiara sex. We're not ALL shallow.


On the subject of the ending. By the goddess I just want them to fix that mess...

This is Admiral Hacket, the Crucible has done its job now its time to do ours; by my reports all reapers in the Sol system have had thier barriers shut down permanently. Too many people have given their lives for us to waste this opportunity, I want every single ship in the Sol system to engage the reapers surrounding earth; show these monsters what it means to fight a galaxy united. Blow these bastards out of the sky!

Hacket Out!

the scene between LI and Shepard is very rough and just FYI shepard goes unconscious as the louder part of "I was lost without you" kicks in. Im going to use Liara since she was my LI. Also once LI finds shepard all background noise other than the dialogue and the song ismuffled 

Liara finds Shepard critically wounded amongst the rubble (the character model used is the one we see when shepard gets hit by harbinger)

Liara: Shepard!! *Liara runs over and pulls shepard out of the rubble holding her close.
Shepard: *barely conscious and shivering* I..it's  cold...
Liara:*pulling shepard closer* It's ok Shepard I'm here we will get you help just hold on please 
Shepard: Liara I..
Liara: Shh..dont talk save your strength.
Shepard: *coughs multiple times the last time coughs blood* N..not much left of that
Liara: SOMEBODY GET SOME HELP!!!
Shepard: Liara...I...it looks like I may break that promise after all...
Liara: *crying* NO! I wont let you, you will be fine, you HAVE to be fine, I WONT let you leave me again!
Shepard: *places a bloodied hand on Liara's Cheek* I..Iove you Liara*
Liara: I love you too shepard

*Both kiss and shepard begins to cry as shepard's hand falls from Liara's cheek and shepard goes limp*
*all sound except the loud part of the song is heard now and Liara is cradling shepard while crying hysterical and the screen fades to black*

now like I said EMS will determine if shepard survives

like I said my first time ever writting dialogue so forgive me if its bad.

Trust me If I could have found a way for it to make narrative sense for Javik to unload on some collector's I would have, but theres the small problem me having made them all go espload.

Incorrect. It shows that Bioware is doing more voice work, so for all you know they could be planning for Fallout NV-style epilogue slides (where each VA briefly narrates what happened to the character).

Whether or not they change the ending is an entirely different matter

I can only play Male Nord in Skyrim and only femshep in Mass Effect because they just feel right. I can't complete my maleshep run either. When I edit something it's usually with Sheploo even if it doesn't feel that right to be, but he's way more recognizable than my custom femshep so yeah...

Liara felt right too when I first saw her in the game. I wouldn't mind at all if they removed the sex scenes and replaced it with random cute romantic content. So yeah, femshep and Liara just seems to be the perfect couple in my eyes.
It's all a matter of opinion tho and I'm not trying to start a fight with anyone!

That was really touching, it's pretty similar to the head canon stuff I casually came up with in my head, so I wouldn't think of Biowares ending, but to read something extremly similar makes me feel a hell of alot better.

 ty i fine tuned the Liara Shep dialogue until it had me tearing while reading it alound synched up to the music I figured if I could accomplish that it would be sufficiently touching

 ty  and yea the picture of a beat up shep with Liara would definitely fit this scene perfectly.

Though the picture that inspired me to write the dialogue was the one of Garrus holding an unconscious femshep.

Thanks.  It's been pointed out that my original intent was not coming through in the chapter, and there's no way to salvage it as-is, so a complete re-writing I go!

I play as Human male in Dragon Age 1,2 it just feels right for me, no VA though. When male Hawke loves Anders, it fits perfectly with the tragic theme of the game. Male Revan in Kotor and Female Exile in Kotor 2. When Darth Sion falls in love with female Exile, it makes the game story more "true" to me.
I can play as both male/female character. It's about what I prefer. And I prefer Femshep because of her voice and her character and some other reasons. I choose Liara because she feels right with my Shepard. I did choose Thane in one of my playthrough but I never bring that playthrough to ME3.
