Crossposting from the blue bawwwbies thread. I sketched a little, and I’m really liking the option that the asari crest grows out first and hardens later. I’m sure this has been discussed more than once…

On
the left/above, ridges grow quicker first and into kind of floppy
dreads, then start hardening and contouring into shape gradually.

On the right/below, ridges grow more slowly, but right into the shape.

I like it and personally i like the idea of the stunted and rigid crests that slowly grow better than the floppy ones, plus i feel that the stunted ones look better on Asari Baby's/children:D

Off-topic :
I just did the rachni mission in my NG+ playthrough. The rachni was used as a weapon in the protheans's time. The Protheans meddled with the rachni, they turn them from a peaceful race to a warlike race. After using them against the Protheans's enemies, the rachni become to cunning and the prothean have to put them down. The rachni was almost extinct in the protheans cycle. I think I hate the prothean more and more. I feel like they meddled with every races for their experiment. They used young races as lab rat or something. The Asari, the hanar, the rachni...

@rubynorman, Don't forget us. The Protheys also liked to stick chips in human brains. Remember the sphere on that random planet from ME1?

well I'm a huge HP fan never been into the fanfic though to much dredge and creepieness spread throughout it like Hermione/Snape etc.... to make me do anything but slam a baseball bat into my pc if i see it.  I'd gladly read your Young Justice ones though (is it the tv series or the comics though?)  and so what if you write ME stuff,  Mass Effect is as a series a masterclass trilogy on par with other huge blockbuster series.

 I hate some of the ships in the HP universe. My HP fiction was actually started because I was frustrated that no one would write a "Reading the HP Books" with Hermione's friggin parents. Everyone else got to read the books with the Golden Trio, but the Grangers. The Weasleys, the teachers, the school. Hell, some people even raise Harry's damn parents from the grave to read the books. I was like:  That HP fic is a long term project though since I want to go through all seven books. Don't know if I'll be able to do it though....

My Young Justice fic is an AU based off of the t.v. series. I've never read the comic. It's an Arty fic since she's my favorite character. I mentioned earlier that I only have sisters. The Crock family provides quite the fascination from me. Why on earth would Jade abandon her younger sister? Being the oldest of said sisters, I'd like to say that I wouldn't do the same.... So, I began to deconstruct the entire Crock family and came to the realization that Paula is the lynchpin of the family. What would happen if she was actually dead, rather than in the slammer? It's only one chapter now. I've got the second one written, but I've yet to type it up since I typically handwrite all of my works. It's pretty short though, so I wanted to write a third and just do a double update....

Eh, I really didn't want to start an ME fic because I wanted to get my others under control and rolling again. However, Liara would not be denied and insisted I write a chapter in the third POV in her perspective about her and Shep's first conversation. With a bit of my own dialogue thrown in since I typically write AUs....

EDIT: Oh, yeah, you won't see the HP fic on this profile since I forgot the password to the one above and had to make another so I could post the HP one. It also wouldn't be denied at its creation. Unfortunately, I had to wait 48 damn hours.... Ah well, I remembered the password to Midnight's profile as well as the email address I'd been using for it.... (I've mostly abandoned that one. Unfortunately, I have all of these colleges sending me crap mail because I gave them my email on the SAT. I don't know what the **** I was thinking.....)

Anyway... Perhaps this interest in writing is a good sign for me. I haven't wanted to write anything since that donkey kick RL gave me which was several months ago. Now I'm ready to get back in the saddle and get the creative juices flowing again.

Maybe Liara won't be interested in the Protheans anymore after she learns all about their true nature. They're not uplifting other races, they do experiments on these races. She used to think they're just like the Asari (dialoges on Eden Prime) Maybe I shouldn't do the paragon interruption in the fight between Javik and Liara

I feel sorry for the Rachni. Being used by the Protheans and the Reaper.

Awesomesauce.  Oh, and that pic is awesome too.  I would totally be more into the Mando's if Liara was one. Unfortunately, I rather despise them due to Traviss's work. She was so arrogant in her novels during LotF that I began to really not like her.....

but the republic commando novels were pretty good..... and i Love me some mandos...  I haven't gotten to LotF yet I'm way behind on my reading, its what happens when you have a never ending list of books to read.  

@RubyNorman:  maybe your right and she won't,  although I'm pretty sure her initial findings about Javik already disillusioned her.   as for the paragon interupt,   maybe a renegade interupt would do well where Shep pins Javiks arms and offers Liara free shots:devil:

I study economics, I don't know much about IT. I've been enjoying this www.youtube.com/watch Mass Effect the movie. It's a Liaramancer's movie that is the main reason why I love it.

Very interesting. I actually figured that someone out there did something along this line. My only complaint is that he's using Manshep. Sigh... I try and I try, but I just can't get into him. Great that he's a Liaramancer though. It almost seems like the fanbase is embarrased to even admit that they may even like Liara, let alone consider her for romance. Too many loud, rude fans hate on her....

I feel sorry for the Rachni. Being used by the Protheans and the Reaper.

Just because the Protheans aren't as benevolent as Liara thought, that doesn't mean they're not interesting. Also, I think they were trying to help and uplift the races they were experimenting on. You can't judge the Prothean race on one indivudal, especially since that individual is a soldier that just lost his entire race, it's only natural he'd be bitter.

I remember she was very disappointed when she knew more about the Protheans in her notes.
Another topic: In an union, is physical contacts/sex necessary? Or the Asari just need to say "embrace enternity" and meld with a willing one?

Physical contact is necessary, sex is not.

And yeah, what they did with the rachni was quite horrible.
