I'm for writing either a scene or dialogue,  I wouldn't dare try and do a recording and drawing i don't believe I'd be able to do Liara Justice.

Afternoon Thread! So Im considering writing a back story for my renegade femshep (colonist, ruthless) and was wondering if I could send a page or two to someone for some critique. Im still at work now so the initial pages or two wont be done till tonight or tomorrow and Im still rattling some ideas around my head but I figured I'd come here and ask

Heh, nothing really on paper yet, I was on my lunch break and had a sudden creative surge (always happens when i can't sit down and work on it  happend with my music too) But I'll be able to work on a page or two tonight.

That depends on how you define important, we have been appreciating Liara that is always important .

But on a more serious note we have talked about a variaty of different topics related to Liara in various degrees, from fanfic praising to when to play LotSB, before that we talked about whether the asari needed physical contact when having a union with their partner and how Asari implants/biotics amps worked and earlier we went a little off topic and talked about wether we liked some of the other characters while bashing Jacob for his "the Normandy is you true love line".

I think that covered the last fithteen or so pages 

Edit: While not directly Liara related I found this one about the Marauder Shields comic that I thought was great.

I wonder if there is such a phenomena in Asari culture of gender-based preferences (in other species, of course). I mean, I know bisexuals aren't always (or ever) 50/50 on whether they like men or women, and I understand Asari must have some kind of personal tastes when it comes to species as a whole, but are they able to distinguish feminine and masculine behavior from each other?
Liara seems to be pretty (in fact entirely) indifferent about Shepard's gender. I know this is for the most part a designing simplification, because the same goes for characters like Miranda and Kaiden. But is the term we are aware of - consciously or not - as gender-based personality and behavior completely unfamiliar for Asari? I understand that they at least have to see the clear differences between the genders in society that exists even in the future (the roles that our genders play out in our social norms), but are they able to distinguish our personalities enough to make sexual preferences between us?

Thats an interesting question, I feel that on a broad cultural level probably not much of a gender preference exists, but on a personal level depending on how long any one asari spends in a different culture those preferences may develope over time, thats what I think anyway.

Yeah, that's something I almost take for granted. I still wonder if it's an attribute that's with them from birth, just like human sexuality is (let's face it, christians, that's how it is).

It probably depends on the culture the Asari find themselves immersed in. An Asari on a human dominated planet or area, or on the Citadel, is probably more likely to think of things along masculine/feminine terms and perhaps form an individual taste for one over the other.

An Asari in a largely Asari controlled area like Thessia or something? Probably much, much less likely to do so. It probably just comes down to individual Asari preferences in those cases or something.

Thanks for explaining that. Seems I did miss some rather interesting subjects and a few funny ones.

That comic is gold, been enjoying it since issue #1:D
