Yes, and it's, it's, It's :sick:  I can't stand seeing anyone else with the default ME3 Jane..Imean with those freckles, default Jane was clearly made for Liara. (Their freckles almost match, and it's so cute!!)

Who am I kidding I have a hard time making ANY shepard that romances someone other than Liara, it just seems like a more complete, LotSB really seals the deal.

I've been a long-time lurker here and because I couldn't get my game registered for quite some time I only managed to read through this thread and occasionally save some of the posted pictures here, but now that I did register I can finally post.

It's great to see so many Liara fans and I'd love to discuss our favorite asari with the rest of you, and maybe share my grief over the atrocious ending(s) that neither Mass Effect 3 nor any of the characters within deserve. Awesome, be glad to have someone else willing to take part in more in depth discussions. I certainly agree with you on a few points already - Lightbringers blog about the sheer power of the very real emotions ME3 - and even Liara and her romance - can make you feel...he's absolutely correct. And it's something very difficult and hard to accept and recognize. I think it's something quite a lot of people struggle with, because it's such a new experience when it comes to videogames.

Also, this thread is, from my experience, one of the last pretty reasonable places left to discuss ME and especially Liara/the Asari. It's not that you can't else where...but for example, look at the general forums here. It's full of extreme negativity - most of it is related to ****ing about the endings, but other popular topics include just general ****ting all over Liara and the Asari. There's also just a lot of infighting and bickering, and people absolutely to tear Liara fans to shreds. This doesn't just happen on the BSN, as well...

I stick with my comparison that this thread is like an Oasis in a desert of pure rage and depression.

No, it doesn't affect the FPS. It only requires more RAM.
Without the mod the game uses about ~700mb, with the performance pack it uses ~1600mb and the full pack uses ~2500mb.
I use the full pack. Just doing what that page says about bioengine.ini tweaks gives better visuals even without texmod.
Some femshep textures too.

Sweet thanks for the mods. That might make it a little more enjoyable to play back to back.

It really is. It's just full of nice touches and good direction/visuals. That it's actually an interrupt makes it a more powerful investing moment, and the visuals of them embracing and kissing - after so long and so much negativity and hostility and pain between them - while the light dome shatters and explodes/sparks behind them...it's such an impressive scene.

And it's a great example of the pure chemistry between them - they really do just seem to want nothing else other than eachother at that moment.

That they are, if I didn't consider it blasphemy to change my cannon Femsheps class then I would play ME2 with her, but I want to play a different class so I guess I will just have to wait for that wonderful scene.

This will be the first time I do LotSB after Suicide mission, Im looking forward to seeing how the dialogue changes. Love that Liara is the only one that can make Eve (my shep) a big softy XD

Liara is really the only one to try to get underneath all that bravado and that whole leadership face Shepard always keeps on. It's a reason I like her so much - she actually makes a serious effort to get to know the real Shepard.

Totally agree, in terms of my own head cannon Liara is the only one that made Eve feel like the girl from Mindoir again, by the time she was on the first Normandy She had forgotten that girl even still existed within herself.

Just find pictures on some web page and then copy paste them, that's what I do.

High hopes wouldn't be advised. I personally have set the bar extremly low, at best I get a plesant suprise and if it turns out to be more garbage ontop of the current garbage, I'll get past it without a withdrawl to the first endings disapointment.


Also, there seems to be alot of inconsistency when it comes to the color of Asari blood..

Sadly this is how I feel, though ive gotten over the endings, mainly because I ignore them and use my head cannon .

Really? The only time I recall that it wasn't purple is when Tela Vasir dies in LotSB, and even then her blood was purple in the previous scene.

Also in regards to the EC, i expect nothing more then a flock of seagulls and an oil spill.  Maybe with a little Ali Hillis narrating it in that...low volume...seductive....canter of an alluring voice she does for liara. 

Tela vasir's blood wasn't purple?  ...when?  the pools she was leaking all over the place were...
Edit: ok maybe when she dies against the wall but...ill chalk that up to a lazy edit or maybe Illiums sun shifted in color or something *shrugs* - seeing thats really...the only out of place thing in that entire DLC.
