Finally got chapter 7 out…sadly, a bigger Liara bit got pushed to chapter 8 (Fri or Sat), but at least there’s a bit of good news for the Shadow Broker in this one.

Hmm... so it seems I have to be alone and without my laptop in order to get any kind of writing done. Nearly finished with my first ME chapter. It'll be the very first chapter I've written in approximately six months.....

I also just finished the first chapter of my alternative ending fanfic

It is not strictly about Liara, but as my absolyte favourite character and LI she does have the most prominant role after Shepard.
It is one of my first more serious writting attempts and I would appreciate feedback from those interested, either here or in the comments

Awkward? Sounds to me like they just haven't played ME to appreciate Liara themselves.

Also if they find it awkward and weird, it's their fault for digging through your personal phone. If they don't like it, they shouldn't have decided to go through your stuff.

I had made an alternate ending to Mass Effect 3, well really it just picks up immediately after the ending. It features Liara as the Love Interest and I thought you guys might like it!

I feel your pain! As someone who adores both Ashley and Liara it seems these two characters are constantly bashed. But I have learned to just ignore the haters and move on ... it makes life easier.

But can we not bash other characters on this thread? If you want to discuss your views on Ash then head over to the Ashley thread ... Just be forewarned that they have heard it all and actually have an arsenal of data from both the writers to devs on her character ... Just sayin'.

And like Band of Brothers these two characters if they were real would not be impressed with outsiders blasting them. They were in the trenches together and Ashley was there when Liara lost her mother and also after Thessia. I wish that they had shown the scene of Ashley comforting Liara after Thessia. Of course, I have my own headcanon of that moment.

Can't decide if I'm ready to type up my chapter.... I'm a bit iffy on the ending. Should I leave it as is, or should I add a bit of narrative?.... Both would work, I just need to decide on whether narrative would actually add to the scene or if the line before the last dialogue is enough to imply Liara's feelings without explaining them to the reader.... Hm...so many questions. I'll sleep on it I suppose.

What the Frack I leave for two days to go set **** on fire and end my school year on a high note and I come back to this...  *hurt voice* PMC I thought we were cool I haven't bashed on Ash yet, I even kept her alive and shot Udina so she wouldn't have that on her conciense.  I even started putting blue baby spoilers on some of my fics for you,   and I see this.  No Respect I tell you.... No respect:P  Thankfully Akernis was there to protect the throne while i was away although you can never have enough blue baby's  *uses Lift and throw to send thousands of Blue Baby's in a gentle wave towards PMC  (that one was for you Midnight Raith or whoever suggested the wave of asari thing 20 or so pages back) 

Also i don't remember telling you guys to speed up when I'm not here I swear i just spent most of my day here reading this thread and all the fics that came pouring through my DA account the past two days.

So onto the interesting and not volatile topics

@Theodoro:  I like your idea for a date scene and I head canoned a one shot out of what i thought the date should be if you want to check it out its called "One Last Date" link  Also if you don't have any objections I'd like to take the concept you were talking about and turn it into another soppy one shot.  I think it would be interesting.


@Yuqi:  wait what blood magic.... *shocked voice*  You Don't like Merrill:unsure:  I don't think you'll be getting any more screenies from me then:P

I'm not gonna get into the Ash discussion other than to say apart from what she may or may not be it is still annoying that she still questions me incessantly no matter how many times i tell her "I don't work for Cerberus,  I haven't had contact with them, I voluntarily stole the Normandy and turned her and myself into the Alliance, blah....blah....blah."

I read your story and left a review some time ago   It was sad, bittersweet but well written. I can imagine that could really happen in the game, Liara would gladly embrace eternity forever with Shepard. I got goosebumps when I read the last chapter. You did a great job.

edit:  @Notcras you did a good job on them and i liked it although there were a few small spelling errors I'm too tired ATM to remember where they were exactly though
