This, by the goddess this. If that would have been the ending of the game I would have been able to ignore the gaping plot holes that the Starbrat put in there and lived with that.

@Theo: Thanks for posting that wallpaper, I discovered a way to save the pic to my phone and part of that full pic became my new phone background!!

I am hoping that Sylvf (Sylvia Feketekuty) is brought in for Liara and writes a really great reunion scene ... one where she pulls Shepard from the rubble maybe? Sylvia? This thread can pull a collection together if you need motivation ... Heck, if you promise some of these freaks blue babies I bet you could get a brand new car and your mortgage paid. Yes ... they are that rabid about those icky things. 

She wrote on Twitter that she isn't working on the EC, but someone who has written for the characters she also wrote is on the team (Patrick Weekes?)

While I love the idea of little blue children I would also prefere that they focused and really as you say heartwarming reunion and epilogue.

The blue children can be either menioned in an epilogue or left for headcanon, along as they don't do anything to contradict the posibility.

Though of course if we do happen to see a little blue child I would not complain in the slightest, but it should be an option fort hsoe who desires it rather than a forced happening.

I'm a sucker for happy endings (don't care what others think) but I like to headcanon it like Shepard lives for many centuries (long enough for Liara to reach her matriarch stage even) due to his implants. During this time he'll obviously have a few kids with Liara if she wishes the same.

So rather than the epilogue detailing on the future years of Shepard and Liara (with the possibility my much desired headcanon ending is shattered) I'd rather they just give the general future of the couple so I can headcanon in the details. In this case... less = more:pinched:

I like happy endings too, but wow, that's pretty extreme. I'll probably be going with Shepard reaching somewhere around 250 years. I agree a possible epilogue shouldn't go very far into the future though. I don't really have any interest in having what happens later detailed.

That would be amazing! 

But I would really like Liara to get some lines. If Garrus, EDI and Ashley are then I think it would be ridiculous if Liara didn't!

That was from the ME3 launch back in March at Gamestop in Hollywood ... It has the VO's to Liara & Tali plus a dash of Ash in that photo. Thought you might like since it is your two gals! Living in LA has to have some perks since we battle the 101/405/5 freeways here.

Wow, I really enjoyed reading this! This is exactly what I want Shepard to be able to do: to surprise Liara in some way, and this is a perfect example of how he/she could do that. It was very touching and sweet, very considerate of Shepard. I really wish we had the opportunity to do something like that with our LIs. I certainly thought we would, seeing as Shepard comforting his/her LI or the other way around is something that would be natural in the middle of this war. If people don't forget who their friends and loved ones are and what they're fighting for, they'll lose themselves. 'One Last Date' is a perfect reminder.

This is really late but a long while ago there was a discussion about asari helmets. I just realized that there are asari with helmets in ME2 as well. They are in Eclipse.

True, while the reaper conflict is the central goal etc. nearly each of the games' highlight and most memorable moments for me have been about the characters.

Interacting with the various characters and doing other things with them (romance scene absolutely included) were easily my favourite moments of the game.

I will have to say though that without the reaper threat a lot of that interaction with the characters would have felt diminished for me, but if I could chose freely what I would have added to the game (beyond a happy LI ending) it would be more character content, friendship and especially romance wise.

Those self-animated things are great, but somehow they creep me out because they miss that "something". Don't take it the wrong way, I admire the work they've done. Wish I'd even know the basics.

I always took character animations and stuff for granted, but I've grown to respect the people behind the characters. They really brought them alive. All the voice acting was spot on too.
