If we are not talking about the day just before the Reaper invasion I honestly wouldn't mind at all.
Some wizard offered me a few years in there, even just a few months? I'd accept in a heartbeat.

Yes, indeed -  I can only imagine how awesome a mere walk through the Presidium would feel, much less getting to visit places like Thessia and being able to talk with Asari. Not to mention owning a spaceship and flying through open space, gazing at the infinite stars as you're circling around them and having the freedom to explore the galaxy at will... Oh, come on, find those Prothean ruins on Mars already so we can get going!

I am so in on this idea

Though if I ever met an Asari in real life, especially one like Liara I probably would become scarlet, frozen to the spot and not be able to get a word out beyond something lame like "you are a pretty colour"

Indeed, a lovely shade of blue!
I think it would definitely be interesting to have so many cultures around us. If you discount all the possible wars that might break out, any Reapers, it is certainly an incredible place to live in - if you stay in Citadel Space, that is. Not sure I'd risk venturing out in the Terminus Systems with all them pirates all over the place. Either way, the Council does seem to keep a tight control of the rest of the galaxy, so it should be pretty safe. And I want those omni-tools everyone seems to have - the mere concept is just awesome.

I've always joked that my week does not start until there is a negative thread created for either Ashley or Liara. Those two get knocked around and the sad part is that it is pot meeting kettle.

Liara fans jump on the Ash hate threads and write unfair & nasty things about her while the Ash fans do that to Liara. It's sad. I don't even look at threads that have a hate topic anymore.

It's not the OP that upsets me so much as the followup posters. I'll see names of peeps that on their "love" threads are so cool and positive and there they are writing such ugly things about another character ... it just creeps me.

Don't feed any of the hate threads is my motto even if you agree with the hate.

I agree though sometimes the rediculous nature of some of those hate threads have my laughing uncontrolably, I know better than to actually post but that one about Liara being indoctrinated had me laughing pretty hard.
