True, that would hurt. But I am glad nothing like that happened, sleeping with Liara is a reward, not a punishment. And I would not want Liara to have to be with those Shepards who don't even like her, never mind love her

Gah! I keep telling myself to type up that first chapter. It's just chillin in the notebook, but I'm so distracted right now. I need to finish my ME1 100% run, finally beat DA:O, I just got Diablo 3 and that's looking to be addictive and my PC copy of Kotor2 has finally come in. Now I can play Kotor2 like it was meant to be.... Thank you TSLRCM... T_T So many games to catch up on so little time....

In the german versions of the DA:O, ME2 and ME3 Morrigan and Liara share the same VA.

Yea it would have been interesting to see the meltdown but I'm glad they didn't either. Granted the only Shepard that I have made that wasn't a Liaramancer is the default BroShep I made when I first got ME2 and hadn't played ME1 at all. I'm glad to say that Liara was successful in her indoctrination because every Shep I have made in ME1 so far has been a proud Liaramancer.

I like the mix, honestly. I like that Liara can be independent and take charge when she needs to, but has a softer side she'll show in personal encounters with Shepard.

Edit - ...but, if I have to choose, probably the softer, nerdy Liara. She was still independent in her own right in ME1, so it's not like I'm taking herocrushing helpless Tali style, but she keeps more of her emotions hidden with the harder face she adopts, and just seems harder to connect to.

Actually I thought there was more of a distinction between Liara in ME1 and ME2/LotSB and that ME3 Liara was a good mix of the two.  That said, I do miss her adorkableness from ME1, it was so damn cute.

Also speaking of LotSB, I started a full run of all 3 games and just started to play LotSB so excited .  And I do have to ask, is anyone else insanely jealous of Liara's apartment on Illium?  2 levels, great view of the city and so much open space; I wanna live in a place like that.

Her apartment in Illium is ****ing amazing, it's such a cool looking place, and it has a great view of the city. I was really hoping Liara would give you that place after LotSB, or it'd be used again in ME3 or something.

It's also one of the few times you even get a glimpse of everyday life for a character in that world, everything is always so focused on the large scale Reaper war that it's hard to get a feel for just...living. It's fascinating.

Agreed, I adored her in ME1 but I think I loved her even more from LotSB and onward (from post shadow broker fight) when she opens up to her emotional and intimate side.
