Yeah, the delivery on that line was perfect, just...really. No doubts or anything at that point, all of the stress and conflict they'd gone through earlier throughout the series, you can tell Liara is just...sure of her love and their relationship, then.

EDIT: And I'm even more sure they 'joined' in that scene. I don't think there had to be any tacite agreement, it was a mutually understood desire. The repeated talk of 'blue babies', spending the rest of their lives together, not being able to cope without eachother... I think that final, defining commitment signaled it was the right time.

HumanGrotesque's fanart is literally the fuel that keeps me alive. And that is my favourite of his, though I will say thatrubynorman wrote...

She drew her FA so prefectly. I mean I can imagine that it does happen in the game. <3fluffywalrus wrote...

I was one of those people who really wanted to hear Liara say the L-word. So when the scene started it was like:
Liara:"I love you Shepard"
Me:
Shepard: "I love you too Liara"
Liara: "Show me..."
Me:
Oh.. I didn't actually start drooling (or worse) at the sight of that romance scene mind you but it was an amazing scene nonetheless.

Well, you know, when you suddenly find yourself without any desire to play through ME3 the 8-9 times you had planned to…

Btw, Morrigan is Liara's father. Dun dun dun!
(No I only meant that Morrigan and Aethyta have the same VA. ^.^)
In the german versions of the DA:O, ME2 and ME3 Morrigan and Liara share the same VA.
LoL nice, I never played the german version though. It's so weird after all this time. ^.^

I honestly don't understand why anyone would want to play a dubbed version of Mass Effect. And no, english isn't my native language.

I think also what followed it was something different then what had happened previously; something special. Previous ME romance scenes were sort of 'softcore' but in the one in ME3, with Liara, it was 'making love' and you could tell it was an important moment for the two. And not even just the sex: the kiss afterwards and the one earlier as well ('flatterer') were both indicative of a couple SO in love, so comfortable with eachother and SO happy and content. They were perfect moments that perfectly illustrated what they mean to eachother.

You know, it's moments like those that's also ... sad / worrying. Because Liara will outlive Shepard. Sometimes I wonder if she would go at the same time as Shepard or stay on. ... I can't imagine Liara not suffering a tremendous breakdown.
Wonder why I bring up such a sad matter but well, it just popped up again.
P.S. I think this is one couple whose fate I'm kinda happy and sad about.

I don't see the big issue with this. It's something most asari must endure. For my Shepard, she will surely live long to enjoy much time together with Liara and be a part of raising their children, and after she dies Liara will of course grieve for a long time, but she also knows this would happen. For my Shepard, Liara wouldn't move on with someone else but rather spend the rest of her time with her children, the legacy of her relationship with Shepard. When she becomes a Matriarch she would do her best to share her wisdom with the galaxy and make sure that the tale of the Reaper War, the Normandy, and Shepard is never forgotten.

"The Reapers won't get any more chances to divide us."
"This time, the galaxy follows our lead."
You can choose to believe that she means their relationship, or the alliance of fleets Shepard got united.
I'll go with the former.
Agree. Their children would get to Liara's current age before Shepard would die. They'd have enough time together as it is.Tyranniac wrote...

Somewhat relevant short fanfic: Liara's Visit.
I have so many different ideas for everything but I just can't get myself to work on them. So I just play ME3 multiplayer.MidnightRaith wrote...
Gah! I keep telling myself to type up that first chapter. It's just chillin in the notebook, but I'm so distracted right now.
I need to finish my ME1 100% run, finally beat DA:O, I just got Diablo 3 and that's looking to be addictive and my PC copy of Kotor2 has finally come in. Now I can play Kotor2 like it was meant to be.... Thank you TSLRCM... T_T So many games to catch up on so little time....
I thought about Diablo 3 but I know that it will just end up in the long list of games that I've bought but barely played at all. But Mass Effect, damn did they do a great game series. I played the singleplayer around the clock and now I've spent don't know how many hours in the multiplayer. It's getting boring but for some reason I can't let go.

I can only imagine seeing Liara for the first time in ME1. Only for her to be ruined by danish VA.

Because they don't speak english? It's not like ME1+2 give the option to have subtitles in a different language, if you play the english version. ^.^

I guess they should add subtitles for those that can't speak english. But honestly, I think rather than switching language it is better to keep it in english and use the game to learn english. I learned nearly all my english from games and movies.

That's admirable, but you can't expect the same from everyone else. I didn't play Witcher 2 in the original version to learn polish.
BW will have their reason why they do it. I never saw a Rockstar game with a dubbed version, they only have subtitles.
ME3 is the perfect compromise in my opinion.
I love Ali Hillis version of Liara, I listened to the ME1 german version of Liara and she is like a complete different character. Totally freaks me out. ^.^

Sorry, didn't mean to imply I condemn people who play dubbed games, I just don't understand the appeal myself.
