Yeah, this is what I'm getting at. It's not cheapening the relationship she had with Shepard at all, it's about Liara not torturing herself for the rest of her life because of it. And it's not that I think other relationships will hold up to Shepard's, but, as Theo says, love is love, and sometimes it just happens. It's cruel and selfish to ask Liara to never love again after Shepard's death - think about the timespan, that's 700-800 years you are asking Liara to remain alone.

I mean, do you think Cortez's relationship with his husband was cheapened because he can move on? I don't at all - and what I'm talking about is a situation almost exactly like that - it's all about Shepard not wanting Liara to make him an anchor.

I wasn't saying that my Shepard would say she doesn't want Liara to move on, what I was saying was that I don't think Liara would be interested in finding someone else, at least not as their relationship looks in my (main) playthrough. Sure, she might fall for someone, but I think it is unlikely because of the nature of her relationship with (my) Shepard. For me her future will be more like what I described previously. I think it would be perfectly possible to have a good life anyway. Two centuries with Shepard is a long time (that's roughly the time I'm going with), and having a close family can mean a lot.

Yeah, alright, I can accept that, I just really doubt she would fall for someone. At least my Liara won't! 

I am with Tyranniac on this one, I just don't see falling for someones else. Of course I would not actively oppose it if she did but I see her as spending the time after Shepard (however long or short that will be) with their children, grandchildren and her work.

But on the whole instead of focusing on what might happen afterwards I take a page out of the Asari handbook and simply enjoy every moment of the time spend with her

Reafirming the bromance with Wrex is also one the most satisfying things in Mass effect 3.

Definitely, him calling my shep a sister is awesome and cements that no matter renegade or paragon I could never betray Wrex

That is exactly what I thought when I came to the genophage decision.  The dalatrass's offer was interesting but when I thought about what to do, I kept looking at Wrex.  And I said exactly that, I simply cannot betray Wrex.  My only regret is that Mordin dies , but its on his terms so I can live with it.

Lines that Shepard says to Liara?

Hmm. I think alot of my faorites are from LOTSB.

All of Shepard's lines when he confronts her on hotel Azure after fighting Tela Vasir.

Most noteworthy are...

"That's not a good thing?"

"About us..."

"But you're worried there might be more terminals you need me to hack?"

"I came back!"

And from the rest of LOTSB there is...

"It's all right. "

" I don't know. Marriage, old age and alot of little blue children?".

From ME3 there is.

"I love you too Liara."

"When there is so much as stake. I think of my friends, my loved ones, what I'd lose if I fail."

This is pretty much how I feel too, my Shepard would want Liara to be happy also but I really think with the way they have portrayed Shepard and Liara's relationship Liara wouldn't want anyone else in her life as Shepard was. Its not that she wouldn't or couldn't be happy with anyone else I just think she wouldn't have the desire to find anyone else.

I think it's a great line, definantly use it on my main plathrough. My Shepard is frustrated and worried for her!

"You don't know what he did. You couldn't. You were gone!"
"And we all did what we had to do after that."

"Let's not argue. I don't jabe enough friends left to lose one. Did you need help finding anything?"

And frankly. I abseloutly loath the opposite response. I hate how passive and indifferent Shepard is there. Atleast with the renegade options Shepard atleast shows concern and questions her behavior, even though he does it in a negative manner.

That line is great. Another good reason to avoid the "Because I couldn't let you go...".

Do NOT get the dialog where Liara explains that she was the one who gave you to Cerberus DURING THE ILLIUM CAMEO.

Once you start LOTSB. Shepard will ask who Feron is (because he never found out about Redemption and what Liara did), Liara will then explain it to Shepard. Pick the renegade option where Shepard ask why she did what she did.

What I like most about this. Is the fact that Shepard can actually show gratitude and be thankful that Liara rescued him. Unlike in the Illium cameo where Shepard can either be angry or act like a brick.

I just love this thread. We all gather 'round and talk about Liara... *sigh* my beautiful blueberry space muffin. 

And its always so warm and peaceful. Unlike the rest of the threads which mostly complain about the ending.

It's just nice to get away and enjoy me some Liara talk/pictures. Its like a lovely vacation. 

But... now I wish I could actually take a vacation with her...
