Ha! Liara can be a bit of a itchbay sometimes. She was also pretty good at pressing Ashley's buttons in ME1 if Shep persues them both. Liara can be pretty manipulative when she wants to be.

That would be my opinion as well.Aristobulus500 wrote...
To be fair to Liara in that scene, Tali starts it and is trying to shame and humiliate her. Liara is just standing her ground.
To be fair Liara was not being malicious towards Ashley, she was simply being scientific. Which Ashley, being a more emotional person did not take kindly.Sarcastic Tasha wrote...

Actually, doesn't Tali say the same thing if there isn't any antagonism between them? Maybe the intonation is different. But I took Liara (romanced) on my last femshep run and I'm pretty sure Tali says the same opening line. I don't think Liara mentions any intel though. And I don't see anywhere in that vid that Tali is pushing her buttons, but maybe that's just me. I think Liara is just playing with her (with different intentions based on how the romances are).

Is this referring to the airlock conversation for the Geth dreadnought? What did Tali say? I have no makeShep..

That is one thing that irritated me in ME3. Their is no cat fighting in a situation where female shepard chooses Garus over Liara.
I will never understand why people hate Renegades so much. I got a kick out of killing Wrex because it was well written. It came across as a situation you would come across in a war.(Renegade Shep really shines in ME3 and is far less emo.)
And I wouldn't join hold the line even if you paid me.<_<

Yeah, this is what I'm getting at. It's not cheapening the relationship she had with Shepard at all, it's about Liara not torturing herself for the rest of her life because of it. And it's not that I think other relationships will hold up to Shepard's, but, as Theo says, love is love, and sometimes it just happens. It's cruel and selfish to ask Liara to never love again after Shepard's death - think about the timespan, that's 700-800 years you are asking Liara to remain alone.
I mean, do you think Cortez's relationship with his husband was cheapened because he can move on? I don't at all - and what I'm talking about is a situation almost exactly like that - it's all about Shepard not wanting Liara to make him an anchor.
I wasn't saying that my Shepard would say she doesn't want Liara to move on, what I was saying was that I don't think Liara would be interested in finding someone else, at least not as their relationship looks in my (main) playthrough. Sure, she might fall for someone, but I think it is unlikely because of the nature of her relationship with (my) Shepard. For me her future will be more like what I described previously. I think it would be perfectly possible to have a good life anyway. Two centuries with Shepard is a long time (that's roughly the time I'm going with), and having a close family can mean a lot.
She giggled and said "Commander!"Sarcastic Tasha wrote...

I loved renegade. Most of it. Killing shiala in one and samara and her daughter in 3 was a little...extreme even for my shep and made that line between human and monster a little blurry. Granted that kind of ''merciful'' action goes against my RP for the char but alas...I just can't do it lol Ill blame liara's influence for those freak few paragon choices because I simply just didn't agree with the line or action...
And ugh don't get me started on hold the damn line - just don't.

Ashley came across as over emotional in that scene for sure, but I feel like that's exactly what Liara was going for. Ashley was obviously annoyed and Liara said things to get a reaction from her. That way Ashley comes across as an emotional crazy lady and Liara comes across as understanding. Maybe I'm reading too much into it though.Akernis wrote...

Really? They made her into a playable character, or they just imported her model as an npc?

Yes the first part is referring to the Geth dreadnaught, I have not tried it in-game but you can watch it on youtube, the link to it is qouted at the top of the page.
The second part is referring to the "cat-fight" between Liara and Ashley in the first game.
