About paragon / renegade playstyle:

I play neither. Shepard's choice is what I think the situation warrants. Whether it's paragon or renegade, I do not care. But I have to admit that I'm kind of scared to choose renegade answers even if the text seems just right, as it quite often ends up being something completely different and evil. I loved the neutral dialogue in Mass Effect 1, why did they have to take that away and just make a bigger gap between paragon and renegade? :(

Oh, of course, on my main Shepard I choose what I think is most suitable, and certainly don't care about if it's paragon or renegade, but I still say it is a paragon Shepard due to having more paragon points.

Paragon or Renegade I love that I could pick when to be a 'bad ass' and when to play the 'good guy'
Liara has always been my LI expect one playthough and I have to say she makes me be a paragon except the part in LotSB when I tell Vasir to stick to her strong assets:kissing:, love the face Liara gives off on that choice;)

It's the company making it.  Kotobukiya.  They make bishoujo statues.  That's the way it is, friend.

Liara statue anyone? It's just a 3D render tho.

It's well used but...

I too was most disappointed during the Liara statue incident.  Sigh.

I'd like a Liara statue that doesn't make her look so...cold and hard, personally. But without doing what that lousy anime lolicon statue did. I want one where she looks nice, not hyper sexualized and childish.

Still, the render is worlds above that anime one.

Yeah. That one I'd give desk space to, the "official" one....

Nah

Right, so. I ended up writing a very melodramatic Liara moment from before the events of Mass Effect 2, and made some renders to the story as well. My writing's not that good, but I hope it's somewhat bearable to you guys.

No you have to play the game like you want it. I love to play on the Dark Side, because I'm a friendly person in RL. I totally get the kick out of playing a mean character.
I think you can ask a lot of actors, a lot of them want to play the villian. It is very satisfying to get in touch with your other side.

I'm a Roleplayer. It freaks me out to play a Shepard like myself, that's very awkward for me.
I hope no one thinks that Renegade players are violent, racist, ****s, who slap Repoters for the LuLz.

I cant roleplay a character to save my  rear.  My experiences with rpgs has always been:  pick up a controller, play a character, and finish the story. I played the game as both sides;  and the rengade always came across as more realistic for a soldier.

If you hesitate you die.

Isn't that along the lines of those people that need to ask "OMG what characters can I f**k in Mass Effect...I need to know it now!"

I can understand people dropping one char to get it on with another...if they like the other one better than the first than it's a legit reason I would say. But going through games just to see in how many different ways you can hump a NPC and how to hump all of them after each other...yeah well...I don't know. Watch pron or something.

It's probably those Shepards who brought the scale itch on board.

While I think it is very well done in and off itself I don't like Liara's face, I am not sure why I just don't think it looks like her.
I don't know what to think of Ma-rin's Liara pictures in general; some appears near spot on while others barely resemble her at all in my opinion.

Yeah, Akernis. That artist just can't handle Liara's face, but (she?)'s clearly very talented and can do everything else very well. Even Fem Shep there doesn't have a messed up face...it's just Liara.

"Just as long as we're clear. Nobody messes with my girl!"

I saw that a few pages back. When is that quote, and I'm assuming Shepard says it? Its an awesome quote if its from Shepard about Liara. I never ran into it!

Ah, yes. The scene with her father. I never did this regrettably. So its something I will definitely do on my next playthrough! It sounds like a really great scene. Does it change at all depending on whether Liara is your LI? Like relationship specific dialogue?

It does have relationship specific dialogue, and it even has a bit of differences depending on if you're MaleShep or FemShep. It's totally worth seeing, the entire scene is great. Both for Aethyta and Liara.

Does anyone have any links to some fanfics with Liara and Shep? Preferably MaleShep if possible. I've read a bit of some, and would love to read more. Reading them just makes me happy. Just skimmed through "The Importance of Words", and it was sweet. Would love to read more like that. :)

I don't have any MaleShep fanfics to link you, but I'm going to say what I always say when someone asks for Liara/Shep fanfics...have you read Rae's "...Can Wait" series?

Wow, that was simply beautiful! It was very sweet - and don't worry, your writing's great! I don't think there are any fics out there that are accompanied by specific renders to them - I think you've found a niche! You really need to do more of these.

I think I'll promote SergeantSnookie's Here at the End of All Things - it's probably one of the best MaleShep/Liara fics out there.

Why are so many people so bad at drawing faces, yet they can make the armor look decent?

If romanced, Aethyta refers to you as Liara's "girlfriend/boyfriend that used to work for Cerberus".

If not romanced, she refers to you as Liara's "commander that used to work for Cerberus".

I got the latter line on my recent playthrough where I had ended my ME1 relationship with Liara (when first on Normandy) to keep my ME2 one with Tali. I was surprised, though, because I had a femshep that didn't romance Liara and had Aethyta call her "girlfriend". But anyway, on the Tali one the overheard dialogue about 'wise councillors needing to be available' changed as well. Rather than the 'peeling off her uniform' or 'panties on fire' lines, Aethyta just says 'you sure?' (in reply to Liara's assertion that Shepard listens out of respect) or something, and Liara's like 'Shepard wouldn't... no! No.' First time I'd heard that, too (although I usually don't eavesdrop unless I'm romancing).
