 Yea the miranda jack combo i dont really feel either way about, Liara and Javik though makes me go "huh?":blink:. I like Tali and Garrus together, and Aethyta and Javik together, oh man the hilarity that would ensue.

EDIT: what would that even make Javik? Liaras stepmom? my head hurts

I second that, must admit even though I'm not that big of a fan of Tali I let out a serious fangirl squeal for my bro Garrus when these two got together, I love that magnificent bastard, strictly platonic though, once you go blue and all

I'm craving for a fic that features both Shep's mom and Aethyta. And it also has to be in character.... Read one once with Hannah Shepard meeting Liara and Femshep for lunch or something and she was... kinda mean. It was weird and didn't fit the conversation we have with her in ME1 at all. It was a bit funny, I guess, so long as I tried to actively ignore that we already had a sample of her character in the game.

But, yeah, I have a feeling that Hannah and Aethyta would be awkward together.

I just found it lacking all of the emotion that the other two lacked. The whole thing came off as shallow and superficial to me.

While I don't think it was tasteless I agree that Chronos Station and especially Illos were better, felt more intimate and emotionally satisfying to me.
I know I posted this one only a short while back but I hope you won't mind  

I think we established last time that no reason is required to re-post this picture.

Lol ya I could picture Javik as the mother-in-law from hell, I smell a sitcom:wizard: Ah so many mother-in-law jokes so little time, ok here's one, I'm sorry just couldn't help myself

There's so many of them. I don't have enough time. My eyes hurt.

Actually never mind, keep writing something... anything Liara! I'll read them the next year if it takes me that long! I love reading them!

Gah, I've seen that one in my searches but it has just now occured to me that the title is not literally the fourth in a series, but meant to be taken as a continuation for the games.... I tend to be a very literal person at times, but now I will check it out.

Ahem my particular brand of cheddar comes from the king of mother-in-law jokes Les Dawson, come on referencing Bernard Manning that's just sad, well so is referencing Les Dawson, ah screw it, can't talk my way out of this one, Javik where is the airlock?

Here is how I show my Liara love! This was drawn by me free hand and colored with colored pencils.



That took me about 5 hours and is the first drawing I have done in about 5 years. I just did this over the course of the last 2 days.

Well done, it is a little too sex appeal oriented for my taste but skillfully done nonetheless. There is somthing slightly off about the face that I can't quite put be finger on but as we talked about a couple of pages back the face is very hard to get right.

^ Skilful, I agree, good work! Muscle is always good, too. In constructive spirit, and that only, the eyes are the biggest thing, they’re a little too almondy, set just a touch too high, and a bit too small – asari eyes are larger. Liara also has a fairly prominent and straight nose.

I've never been a fan of the whole "Liara in sexy underwear" thing (My take is either have her in a setting appropriate dress, or naked. Sexy underwear just looks odd on her), but you have a lot of potential in your art! You're not amazing or anything, but with practice and some refining you could be really good.

As said, her face and eyes look a little off. Her eyes are slightly too small, and I see you were going for a sly smirk with her mouth, but it just kinda...ends up looking like she's got a chipmunk cheek. Like Diana Allers loaned her half of her face.

I'm no artist, so I can't tell you how to fix these flaws, I can only point them out.

And one more thing - drawing with colored pencils...it's okay, but it inevitably makes things look more amateurish and just less...good than they would otherwise. You might try moving up to better materials, eventually?

Well Liara is open to suggestions and after reading Rae's very detailed and vivid Liara/Shep stress relief fanfiction I got more than sexy undergarments to comprehend with, I love her work although in some parts I need some brainbleach pronto.

I'm glad I read yours, lillitheris. Great concept, keeping as close to the endings as possible and only changing that which made no sense. Hardly any grammar and spelling mistakes I could pick out, which is great because that's usually the reason I ever stop reading a particular fic. I'm caught between liking the shifing points of view and hating it.  On one hand, it does get the plot across very well and the fic probably wouldn't work without it. On the other... every new chapter or break and I'm mentally calling for a different character to read about, or not changing views so I can stay with the previous person. I get this way with published works that change p.o.v's....

I liked Aethyta and Hannah meeting. I did picture that Hannah would be taken aback by Aethyta's less than formal speech habits at first as well. Made a funny scene. On the subject of Hannah I also liked that you didn't ignore her or make only a passing mention of her like I've seen in other works. It looks like you're really aiming to take advantage of her character and I'm ecstatic. 

Can't wait for the next chapter.

If I could afford airbrush paints I would airbush, but yeah... I normaly do not like doing color I prefer all pencil black and wite renderings. I usually do more life drawing style artwork and this style is more comic book with less high contrast. I didn't want the picture to look too realistic based off of the CG Liara but maybe a little more cartoonish. On top of that I wanted it to look like my Liara not BioWare's typical Liara lol. I tried in a way to make it my own. And about the eyes and nose. One trick I learned about how to make sure they look like they should is to look at the drawing in a mirror, only then can you really see if somthing is out of place.

The nose, yeah I dunno what happened there, I was tired when I was inking in that part, the eyes however are done more comic book style where the darker areas arround the outside is her eyelashes more or less. I actually learned that style of doing eyes from Michael Turner

Not to mention got to take into consideration, that is a scan. The actual drawing looks much better lol. I even had to touch it up in photoshop to look more like the actuall drawing. But yeah... Not to mention, I used to draw lots of anime and is hard to break some habits when it comes to color lol.
