Well I'll be damned. An in-game story reason? I am really not that pleased.

Might as well be a 'I have no idea why those guys upstairs changed her face' answer. It might not mean anything more than him saying he doesn't know. Though I'm kind of concerned Liara is tied to the plot in a bad way right now. Have to stay positive. It'll be alright...

Matron stage at age 109? Highly unlikely, dammit why can't they just listen to the fans. Obviously we don't like the white scalp. I'll still tolerate it but really now this is becoming an annoyance.

Maybe I'm a little pessimistic right now but if they say Liara's face change has some kind of reason they don't want to reveal that doesn't sound too good to me.

Liara always have been a plot character, if they make her like she's indocrinated or crap like that just for the sake of drama i'll be really angry. She's the most loyal character to Shepard, and i dont want the developers to make her against me just to shock us because we didnt expected it

That "reason" could be simply a placeholder or she had to change her looks for security reasons? Not that she looks THAT much different from before but...oh well. :-)

Hopefully, it's not a mind control thing, where Liara pulls a Mystique, and allows use to choose how we see her.

I was actually going to ask if it is possible that the explaination is nothing more than an excuse to justify changing her looks once again.

We can only hope that we will see the LotSB face again. Anyway her face now does not look that different to the "placeholder". Unless they are going to use the placeholder in the actual game...

Exactly, look how old samara is and look how young she looks. I bet she has her share of stress being a justicar and killing her daughter.

We didn't hear about the problem with Samara's kids till ME2. It could be a rare pure blood problem like theirs.
