Ive never really seen anyone complain about character choice in MP, personally I havent really used the asari much, with Adept I prefer singularity to stasis, and I dont have the justicar so cant comment there and I dont have the asari vanguard either so cant really comment on that either,

I usuallt just stick to Geth Infiltrator though, Hunter's Sight + Black Widow is just unfairly OP

I try to cycle between all my characters for the sake of varience, but the asari adept is one of the characters I think is the most fun.

Edit: I'm curious: Am I the only one who chooses my MP weapons based on story reasons?

My asari adept uses the Tempest due to it made originally for the Eclipse, and that makes it seem like the asari commandos would favor it.

Dull, repetitive, mind numbing, disappointing - the ominous seed for a future market for an impending ME:MMO.

Given that it is multiplayer map, meaning zero story.

No.

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I think a ME:MMO would be pretty fun if implemented right. Make it sandbox and do away with that Holy Trinity set-up that's been done to death. Keep the combat system as close to the one we get in the games and make the world react and change to your actions like GW:2 and it could be great.

Huh, what? There's legions of male players playing as female characters (and vice versa) in all sorts of games, single or multiplayer. I can understand some players being uncomfortable playing as the opposite sex and even them not understanding how some of us can play that way... but to actually give someone crap about it? That's just immature. If it happens to you, just ignore such people, you're better of not wasting your time on them.

As for the classes I play, I actually like to promote, so I cycle through a lot of different classes and races regularly. While I'm by far the most proficient with a salarian infiltrator, which I also play the most often, asari adept would be my second favourite, and asari justicar and asari vanguard also close behind.

:?:pinched: Realizing that you wrote a stupid scene in a fic, then following it with a good one is irritating. Especially if you handwrite your stuff in a notebook and want to keep the latter one.... Gah! On top of that, my OCD personality is not sure how to proceed in scratching out the offending writing (*shudder* hate doing that, makes the notebook look so ugly) while signifying that the stuff that comes after the good part is really BEFORE it and anything after the new part is actually after the good part which is after the new part..... :(

Not every chapter will be brilliant ... what I look for is a balance. Some chapters are there as a set up, some to flesh out, some to just move story along, etc. There are chapters that I look back on and go "Eck ... okay" and others that I give myself a gold star!

My problem with an MMO is the big ole EA logo on it, sand box MMOs are niche, fun but niche, I guarentee if EA oked this it would be with the provision that it be themepark.

Oh, no, I know I won't always be on my A-game. Maybe I'm bragging a bit, but 9 out of 10 times I can usually spot what's crap and what's a keeper in my own work and I also know that sometimes you just can't make something work EXACTLY how you planned it so you just got to suck it up and post it. Maybe the next chapter will be what you were looking for. I did that just now. I was like, "Ugh, what are you thinking? No one is going to like that. Get rid of it." I wrote the offending piece...last week, I believe? So when I read over it, it just didn't fit with the rest of the chapter. Came off as too "fan-like" I guess.

Nah, my issue then was how the heck I was going to organize my notebook. I keep a clean ship as far as that is concerned. I even get irritated when my letters get goofy. Like making an "o" too small in comparison to the rest of the word it was in.... Anyway, I had to do a neat single-line scratch out in my notes, then asterik the stuff that was going to take its place because I don't like arrows pointing every which way on a page and then I need to symbolize the stuff that's going to go after the good part I'd already written.... I may be the only one reading my notebook and in all likelihood I'll remember my own changes, but I HAVE to keep things organized. And when you get a mess up like mine on paper, then it's hell doing that....

If it’s not an either-or situation like with KOTOR and SWTOR, I suppose it could be OK.  I really don’t like standard MMO style gameplay and grind, though. DDO used to be lots of fun, and still is up to level 10 or so, but then it becomes Just Another WoW Clone With Endless Grinding.

Yep, love my asari adept, the Justicar is pretty cool too but that Biotic bubble move is pretty ineffective would rather have singularity than it. The Asari vanguard is pretty strong and fast too, much better than the drell who goes down way too easily if you get a bit overconfident. The biotic dash love that move, avoiding danger with styleB)

What did you guys/gals think when you first reunited with Liara on that Mars base, when she cooly executed those Cerberus grunts, did it take anyone of you guys/gals back alittle? For me it shocked me alittle but then I think of how she took on all the odds to retrieve Shep's body. Liara has certainly grown up alot since ME1:wub:

That's an interesting scene...
*lots of explenation*
But, on the other hand, this scene does demonstrate that all the used tricks can create a solidly convincing illusion of what is going on, which may very well be good enough for many uses.

It has to be said that this game is already two years old. Kara is the next step, so we will have to wait and see, how far Quantic Dream can go. I'm very excited about E3, IF they will show us more.
But BW has another very big problem, they have to develope for three different platforms. Kara shows, how far the PS3 can go, and even Kara is an old version.
Which is kind of breathtaking.

For me, it doesn't have to be realistic at all, I'm a big fan of retro games. ^.^
But it's hard not to get excited about the new technology you can see in L.A. Noire and Heavy Rain.

I can't use anything but some "krogan" heavy shotgun if I'm using a krogan. Like using Disciple on krogan/turian just feels wrong somehow.

About the Thessia map on MP.
Can you really say it's Thessia? I mean I'm quite sure it's just another small arena like the others - you just get spawned in there like on any other map, you kill waves of enemies like on any other map and you get extracted out just like on any other map. The scenery might be similar to the single player mission and the skybox could be filled with "asari buildings", but c'mon. At least I'm not that excited about the fact it's located on Thessia as it honestly brings nothing about Thessia to us.
