That's what I mean. I don't want kids. And if she chose to become pregnant and expects a long-term relationship, that's a pretty low blow.

I believe she's not the kind of person who would do that.
But what if during a mega orgasm she unconsciously went to your DNA info and her mind messed up things?, being someone who dont want kids how would you react? would you leave her or accept it?

dono if it's just me but I get the feeling that shep or the LI are going to meet a bad end after all shep has been drawn as aether the ruthless renegade who would have no issue sending squad mate to there death for the sake of the mission or the paragon who would be more than willing to throw themselves in the fire to save lives.

Also I cant get DA 2 out of my head specificity the lack of control over character fate EG Hawke's mother.

Normaly this wouldn't bother me but after following these character over 3 games I want my happy ever after.

My marriage old age and lots of little blue kids lol

Strange answer

Edit:

Mostly he just said that we will have to wait for M3 and that she has that face for a reason, but that could mean anything, the reason can be that they wanted to make her more M1 look alike, that she's stressed, that she's becoming a matron, that she's being indocrinated, reasons are endless :pinched:

Please don't use the words 'Liara' and 'Indoctrination' in the same sentence. That would easily pass as the worst possible way to create drama in ME3. I'm all for a little drama but not of that kind. Can you imagine the horror of a scene like this:

*Romance scene, Shepard and Liara are making out in their quarters*

Liara: "Shepard... I need to tell you something"
Shepard: "Anything love.."
Liara: "I... I.."
*Dark music starts playing*
Shepard: "What is it..?"
Liara *eyes glow yellow*: "I am assuming direct control"

Just writing this makes me look around in fear. Just.. just no. Keep indoctrination away from squadmembers and especially LI's.

Pretty sure "Assuming direct control" is only possible on subjects implanted with Reaper tech.

*Cough* Doctor Amanda Kenson *Cough*

Though that wasn't direct control by Harbinger, it seemed to be controlling Kenson directly. I just put in that line because by now everyone knows what it means.

It's what I'm fearing. With all this talk of 'indoctrination this, indoctrination that' it seems like this trick may soon become BioWare's new tool for adding extra drama.

BW dev 1:"We haven't got enough drama in this scene."
BW dev 2: "Well... Just get an indoctrinated squadmember in there, works like a charm"
Dev 1: "Which one?"
Dev 2: "Doesn't matter, we can just make up a story of how a fleet of reapers can indoctrinate anything up to a million lightyears away."

This is what I'm hoping will not happen though I fear it might. Indoctrination is just so easy to use as a potential plot twisting device it would be weird for BioWare to completely ignore it.

Damn. How can I keep forgetting all these things today. :pinched:

But anyway. I would hate for Liara to become indoctrinated.

We need more blue now!

More blue. Alrighty then. How about this screenshot. Love the way Liara looks at Shepard when the latter stares down a Krogan Battlemaster to protect an Asari he met only a minute ago.

alright but how dose liara get indoctrinated? maranda yeh I can see that but cant see how Liara get it but that wold explain why she is willing to leave the SB ship and re-join you as a spy for the reapers. afterall she is way to attatched to the SB job just to upstix and do one when shep calls.

From that pic it looks like Liara has as much white on her head as the new pics that everyone mostly hates, but the white is not as bright a white.

That's the brilliance of an all powerful skill against which there is no defence. The full potency of indoctrination is never explained so that leaves BioWare to use it as they please. Need a character gone? Indoctrinate and have him/her attack Shepard. Want a plot twist where your most trusted ally leaves you? Indoctrination. It's all too simple and I hope BioWare doesn't go there....

@Ericzio

Maybe it's the brightness of your screen and the fact your pic is from Lotsb Liara while mine was from ME1?

From that pic it looks like Liara has as much white on her head as the new pics that everyone mostly hates, but the white is not as bright a white.

The white is mostly caused by the lighting. I was playing Noveria today and there's a lot of white lights in the research complex. Whenever Liara walked into one of them, her scalp lit up just like in the ME3 screens and demos.

If you see her the same way in your TV then maybe has something to do with it, the blue is very saturated or have high contrast. If not then can be the camera you're using to take photos

^This is my favorite picture of Liara and it is on the same settings as the other picture.
Hmm, I kinda like it. I might fix it later cause it does seem a bit too much. Like I've said before though, can't have enough blue

If Liara told my canon femShep she was with child, Leia would be ecstatic about it. Might be bad timing, but in the end. She wouldn't care.

Tool femShep. Might not take the news very well. She might run back to Garrus.

And this is Liara talking to Shepard about her cowering when Shepard took on the krogan battlemaster.

Ok but in all the cases of indoctrination that I remember you have to be in close proximity with some reaper tech whether it be implant a ship or a some salvage and as far as I know liara has not had the chance

example

Seren on bord Sovereign

husks created by being exposed to reaper tech for at least a week I'd except a day at a stretch

arrival DLC the doc (forgot her name) had a working peace of A reaper (I think) and we have no Idea how long she was exposed to it..

pluss faster indoctrination harms the subjects higher brain funcsion tuning them into zombie like beings so if a squad mate was indoctrinated than they would need there minds intact and that sort of indoctrination needs time even if you are on a reaper.

If Liara said she was pregnant, and we weren't married, the first thing I'd ask is "Before I tell you what I think, I need to ask... Am I really the one you want to be with? Am I really the one?", and if she says yes, then I'd tell her this is one of the happiest days of my life.

I really hope, her current face is just a placeholder, and Bioware are just teasing us. Because this is absolutely not logical and stupid to create a new gorgeous detailed face model which almost everybody likes for just one short dlc.
And she's a teenager, why make her look like a 35-40 y.o. woman?

The full potency of indoctrination was never discussed. For all we know a single reaper can indoctrinate a million people and the effects of multiple reapers signaling at once may be cumulative, so that 10 reapers attacking a city can indoctrinate anyone spending a few hours near them. We just don't know what they're capable of.

Liara's no teenager. She's an adult even by Asari standards. For the rest, I agree with your post. There is no reason to discard Liara's beautiful Lotsb face model and replace it by a grey-ish looking Liara without the vibrant blue eyes and lipstick.

Liara is not a teenager.  She is an adult.  How many teens do you know that have a Ph'd?

She looks younger in ME3 to me. I'm more of just wonder "how" there's a reason behind it.

My Shepard for one would be ecstatic to here the news of a baby coming in the near future. Does it take nine months for an Asari to have kids like humans? Doubtful but just a thing to wonder no?
