Aww, (love the /politely part!) I have nothing today, but soon enough! That tribute video was keeping me occupied for a while, as well as this sculpting project. It's not Liara related, but it is a form of ME fanart. I've been painting it today, so hopefully I'll go back to the pencils and have some new art up soon.
That's enough of me derailing the Liara thread for today, so carry on!

Ugh...sorry for the wall of text. In the spirit of Asari democracy I propose a motion for my fellow citizens: In the future all walls of text *MUST* be accompanied by a picture of Liara.
Seconded.

Confuzzling though: Scenes from Kaidan ME1 romance and Liara ME3 romance?

Yep, that's what happened. I was a Kaidan fangirl for ME1 and then Liara stole my Shepard during LotSB.

Liara you dont' have to be so... truthful:D
Sorry Kaidan fans but that was hilarious, nice guy, dull but nice;)

The Mako probably reminds her of Shepard's driving skills, so I doubt she's a big fan. Practical for getting around on uncharted planets and remote dig sites though...
Aw, come on. Blame the engineers and designers of the Mako, not Shep's driving skills. That stupid machine is a chore to handle, much less the horrible cramp interior.
As to the car chase on Illium, wasn't she egging Shep on?

I actually loved the Mako and how it handled... can't say the same for the terrain on some of the planets though, goddess I hated all those spiky steep mountains <_<. And it certainly didn't help my Shepard never learned to read maps, always just going for the straight route and jamming the accelerator, regardless of slopes and precipices. She never was much for subtlety and caution when it came to driving.Obsidian Gryphon wrote...

I'm sure Liara was grateful to Bioware for letting her wear a helmet back then... would have been a damn shame if her beautiful scalp crests had gotten disfigured from all the bumps she had to endure

For me I can't see her with another crew member but perhaps another Asari further down the line although she may fear the societal stigma attached with such a union as she was subjected to it herself growing up through no fault of her own.

Just out of curiosity if Liara was not a romance option for Shepard could you imagine her pursuing a relationship with another crew member or otherwise? Thankfully that's not the reality we have, otherwise I'd be like this

I honestly can't see it, even if she wasn't a romance option (I think there would've been a demand for her to be one.)
I can't see Default-Jane being with anyone else either, which I blame on the likes of neeh (and the not so sublte beauty of colour.)
Default Mshep should've had sexy red hair too

Thinking back to ME 1, if Liara was not available, Shepard would have stayed with Kaidan. He was the only choice, even then, because frankly, I didn't quite take to Liara although I did like her. Otherwise, Shepard would stay unattached even with ME 2 options.

Ashley, naturally. She'd be the only one tough enough for my Shepard. Granted, BW would have to actually make her an option for a femshep, but it still counts in my head, right? Right.
Right after Ash, is Kelly. Because only Kelly's kindness is enough to soothe the raging Shepard.

That entire scene was great for Liara. That robe looks really good on her, suits her blue skin well, and she just looked so comfortable there for a change. Relaxed.

I loved Shiala period ... its a shame that she wasn't in ME3. And you know that she had to know Liara since she was a follower of Benezia longer than Liara was alive.

By 'her' do you mean Liara or Fem Shep? Since I roll a male Shep I assumed Liara, but it seems as if people are interpreting it both ways.
There was a thread started a few months back and which characters would or should hook up with each other, if Shepard isn't in the mix. Feron was the most popular answer for Liara, but I don't see it. He got friendzoned hard in Lair of the Shadow Broker, and Liara makes it fairly clear she doesn't have feelings for him another than as a friend. So if Liara is single (or dumped) going into ME3, I don't think there would have been much room for the writers to have had a relationship develop between the two of them.
My guess would be Kaidan, assuming he didn't get Virmired. He admits to finding Liara physically attractive in ME1 at least, and their personalities & outlooks would be a good match.
For Asari in regards to jewellery I would like to think they only would wear it for their bonding ceremony. I could see the bond bracelets looking something like this but tweaked a little.
http://cdni.condenas...R_b_240x360.jpg
I could picture them sporting a hooded cloak like this on their progression to the ceremony, even the headpiece that this model sports could work too
http://cyclopsphoto....en_lotr_web.jpg
I could see something like that bracelet being worn by the Asari. It kind of looks alien as it is.
I kind of see the Asari as wearing something like this for their bonding ceremonies:

A favorite fan fiction story of mine has turned me into a Garrus / Liara shipper, but that's only because the author manages to portray the romance in a very believable manner.CrimsonN7 wrote...

Otherwise, like Han Shot First said, I can see her with Kaidan, though he'll have to be the one to make the first move, I think, since he's the one that has shown interest in her, not the other way around. I believe that they'd be very good together.
