Well, no volunteers for proofreading so skimmed through it again myself and hopefully caught everything.

Presenting Impressions and Impressionability.

Let me know what you think ^_^

I would have liked to proofread, just hadn't caught up to read you question untill now. I will take a look at it now and give you feedback in the DA comments.

So ... I made a tribute music video ... thing ... out of my trilogy playthroughs. I should probably link it in the fan section instead of here, (it's not Liara specific) but I'm honestly nervous. I'm usually fine with linking my art stuff but this feels different. I thought I'd link it in here first since I feel like I know most of you here. I lurk too much ...

Closer to the Edge

Sorry about the video quality, I had my capture settings a little off. It really only shows up during the ME 1 segments.

I quite liked it Image IPB. Not enough Liara, but I would likely say that had she been featured fully half the time Image IPB.
It was very well done and enjoyable to watch.

And a new picture for the five Bs.

I like the email exchanges and the line about Krogan headcrests. Image IPB  But I think Shepard shouldn't be too surprised that Grunt was stirring up trouble (that's typical Krogan Image IPB ) or trying his outmost to emulate his former battlemaster.

But it's a little strange to read about Shepard crowing over a weapon. Frankly, I don't have that kind of picture in my head but then, not everyone's Shepard is the same. Cheers! Image IPB  Keep writing.

I don't think Shepard was surprised as such, more that it'd come to that in such a short space of time.

As far as the Claymore goes, I think it'd be almost (but not quite) the same for an Infiltrator Shepard getting his/her hands on a Widow for the first time. Vanguards in ME2 are all about the shotgun, and it'd be worse for a Vanguard because the ultimate shotgun is right there from the moment you take Grunt's [Upgrades] conversation option. I couldn't see any of my other Shepards being that way either, to be honest. It just feels right for Kira to be enthusiastic about the primary tool of her trade

Dammit to hell. I had a nice post I wanted to share and then I accidently touched my mousepad thing on my laptop while hitting the backspace and it took me to the previous page. I put some thought into that, and now I don't want to type it out anymore. Maybe later, but damn, I'm mad at myself now.

That's precisely the reason I got into the habit of pressing Ctrl-A (select all), Ctrl-C (copy to clipboard) after just about every paragraph I type, not just on this board but others as well. Must have saved me hours of retyping by now.

Well, I'm using Safari, and it's been better than IE, but I'm not really sure which browser is supposed to be the leader in browsers.

As for copying my stuff, yeah, I'll have to do that. This doesn't really happen to me very often but when it does.... Ugh....

What browser saves you from retyping? At least Firefox doesn't.

I type long posts in notepad, then paste it here. Not because of that, but because I have more space to edit it.

EDIT:

frudi wrote...

I don't think any browser will save your typed text on the 'standard form' reply page. They do save what you type
in the quick reply, at least Opera does, but the quick reply is just too damn small to be practical most of the time.

Another useful trick, besides copying to clipboard, is to open the reply page in a new tab. That way you can't accidentally hit 'back' in your browser.

Yeah, the quick reply box stays filled with the text you leave there even between computer restarts.
Quick reply box at least can be resized larger by dragging from the corner, the full reply is always the same size.
Tabs are useful too, I usually have way too many of them open.

Chrome is the best. Or atleast, it just passed IE a few days ago as most used browser in America (or was it the entire world?). And its my favorite personally. A lot of the time if you're writing a post and you accidently hit 'back' or something, you can usually go right back to the page, and usually it saves what you wrote. Not all the time, because I think its somehow conditional, but its saved me a few times.

Plus, Chrome is just awesome. Simple, fast, secure.

Anyways... back to the blue beauty...

I hardly ever see Shepard going ga-ga over guns except in ME 3 when Tali introduced the arc pistol. But her only comment was "nice". Image IPB I'd thought if she were to be that excited, perhaps the Cain? Image IPB  Now I'm sure a reaction could be gotten from her if she was introduced to the cricket pistol (MIB). Image IPB

Btw, if interested, take a look at the ME draft I'm working on at the moment, It's in bottom of my sig. Prepared to be bored. Image IPB

Key word ‘usually’. Murphy and all that. OS X actually also has a builtin text saver thingy, which works…usually.

On my laptop, and rue the times I can’t use it, I use the It’s All Text extension on Firefox…what it does is open up your favorite text editor (Vim in my case) and you type the text there. You A) get to use your editor and B) have a little more resilience for crashes and such.

I just finished chapter 2 of my alternative endging fic.

Feedback is appreciated Image IPB (link is in my signature)

Though unfortunately Liara does not have a particularly large role in this chapter Image IPB, I will have to make up for that in later chapters Image IPB

Still my favourite of Neeh's gifs Image IPB

Because it's the first time you've seen that animation... if you'd seen it before, your monitor would have already been licked clean :P

That's fantastic. i know it doesn't get the love it deserves because it's MaleShep/Liara, which this thread pretty much hates with a burning passion, but as a dedicated MaleShep/Liara player, I can't explain how good that is.

It really is a well done image. Yet again though my complaint is that it's "CHARACTER FLOATING IN SPACE"

What the hell? That's just not true. We welcome both Mshep and Fshep players. Your post is both wrong and offending.
