I found it quite easy to to be unfaithful to Ash or Kaidan after they called Shep a traitor.  Plus they only gave Shep a hug.  And a handshake if they are just buddies.

I have romanced everyone in every game.  I will not import some of those in ME2.  I was going through my canon femShep files looking to do the LotSB with my canon femShep and found one file that I saved right before you run into Liara after the SB agent killed Sekat.  So I recorded from that spot on.  That is when I found out I was unfaithful to Liara with Thane.  I don't remember doing that, but OMG, I felt so guilty when Liara got snippy with Shepard about Thane.  

Needless to say, that game is not going to be imported.  I moved that file onto a flash drive and it is no longer in my HDD.

I broke it off with Miranda after the SM.  I won't be importing that file either.  I will be importing my Shep that cheated on Ash with Jack.  And Kaidan with Jacob.  And I have my tool femShep that is so confused on who she wants to be with, that I see her messing things up with Liara in ME3.

Well, in today's ME3 Q&A they said "Me3 will make you cry". I guess a moment where you break up with Liara after technically having been with her for 2,5 years is worthy of shedding a few tears. As for me, I no longer have ANY save files in which I didn't romance Liara. I just can't go for Ashley in ME1 and cheating on Liara in ME2 is out of the question as well. We might be getting one more female LI for male Shepard in ME3 but I highly doubt she'll be as great as Liara so I'll be going straight for the 'Liara and Shepard happy ever after ending'. Please let there be one of those...

Can you romance another character in ME2 and then if you do LotSB post-SM reaffirm the Liara relationship while breaking it off with the ME2 squaddie? I mean it's not to say I find it that difficult to remain faithful, just ... curious ...

Yes, you can break it off with ME2 LI after getting back with Liara.  Her picture comes back up.  Then you can get with another ME2 LI if you want.  My tool femShep might do this.  In order for her to break it off with Garrus, she tugged at Thane's heart, so she might hook up with him even though she did the Happy ever after response to Liara.  Like I said.  She is a tool.

@Robhuzz--I fully expect to have tears at some point during the game.  Whether or not they are sad tears or happy ones remains to be seen.  It's not March yet after all.  I hope happy ones, but if Liara dies, OMG, I'm done playing for a while.  Just to get over it that death.  I already know my controller will hit the floor along with my jaw.

I thought I used a different femShep to romance Thane, I thought "OH ****", I did WHAT?  when I was recording it a few weeks ago.  Then again, that file is from Feb 2010.  I've done almost 20 playthroughs since then.  I didn't think I used any canon femShep to romance anyone but Liara.  I felt super bad about it.  I still do actually.  What the hell was I thinking?!?!?

Even the new femShep I created the other day is going to romance Liara and stay faithful to her in ME2 and beyond.  I'm recording the whole game too.  This is the one I'm doing to see what happens when you get Liara after Virmire and also romancing Kaidan at the same time.  I will let you know how that turns out after I pick Liara up and do some side missions to lock her romance.  I was going to take Liara with me to see the Concort, but I think I wait to do that with my canon femShep when I play that one again in Feb.

What I'm most interested in, are Liara and Tali/Garrus love triangles.

I'm thinking about making a third Shepard, I want to make a playthrough where I ignore the whole Paragon and Renegade system and fail at the SM. Maybe I don't do a romance and just make a gay Shepard for ME3.

@alex90c, I do this with Jacob in my canon playthrough to get the better LotSB dialogue. You can even do the deed pre SM, nothing has to happen.

So it could be neither lotsb or demo what we get in M3. Guess we will just have to wait.

Regarding ME3 though, if Liara dies/breaks up with Shepard I swear I won't be amused. It's a bit like with DA2s inevitabilities, it really puts a downer on the game when you know at X point event Y will happen that you can't stop regardless of how many times you try to get a better outcome. Not to say it would be a bad thing story-wise, but I think a bit of me would actually die inside.

Of course, if we ended up with a "save Liara or save large group of people Z" I'd (quite selfish, but I would ...) save Liara over those other people.

I think they're full of it too at this point.  They know what each character is going to look like.  They are teasing people.  Miranda fans in particlular.  I went to that thread the other day and some seem very annoyed they get nothing about her, but are even more annoyed at VS fans and Liaramancers as it was put are getting stuff for them.

My view on that.  The VS and Liara are there from the beginning.  So of course they are going to get more attention than the squad from ME2.  That is just my view on it.

That wasn't so bad actually or when she complains about seeing Jacob with his shirt off.

With Thane she goes, "Now your trying to take the place of a dying man's wife."  Like I said, I didn't remember even being with Thane with that Shepard and Liara did make me feel guilty about it.  

To me it's odd if you do the interrupt kiss after defeating the yahg, she acts like Shepard wasn't with anyone else.
If you don't do the interrupt, she says you're with someone and Liara wants Shep to be happy.  And maybe they can be together in the future. 

Same when you ask about Feron and Liara.  Interrupt.  She's taken.  No interrupt, you get the  jealous Commander line.

Obviously some people didn't buy LotSB, so they didn't see how amazing Liara looks in it, and would still be expecting her to look like she did in ME2. Maybe, by buying the LotSB DLC, and obviously having the save file proving that, in our games she takes the look of LotSB Liara, whereas people who didn't make that extra effort to purchase the DLC get the Liara we've seen in the demos.

It would explain why they're dodging the question, and would also explain the change between the original screencap and the current demo - the demo doesn't have the necessary save data to show that LotSB has been purchased.

Sorry, but the idea sounds a little ludicruos IMO. Yeah, it would be cool if people who enjoyed the LotSB Liara look would get what they want, but by having the DLC and getting it through that just sounds wrong.

They said in an FAQ, that there is a "reason" for Liara's change. Well personaly I think that's BS and they can make her green for all I care. Don't know what the big deal is about, they will tell us it's genetic like the eyebrow thing....

Can be that they just dont yet, asking about the developing time if i understood right the design department should be finish by november-december

Seeing today more videos i have to say that all characters shown so far look much older: Sheploo, Liara, Anderson, Ashley. It seems the graphical engine is improved and could be the reason, if they plan on switch textures based on that who knows.
Also saw today that Liara in the xbox looks like she has a worst quality texture than the one i saw in PC, by a big difference. The photo we have so far of her is the xbox version btw.

Lets just hope for the best while they work on it... i would be happy if they keep her Lotsb face at the end

This is really a case of one person not knowing what the others are saying and vice versa. My guess is they left BioWare HQ do do some Q&A's and got a list of things they're not allowed to talk about. When they get a question, they simply have to make something up. Since Casey and others said designs aren't final I'll take their word for it. And seeing as they aren't final, we may yet manage to influece BioWare's decision on how to make Liara look. Keep nagging them to use Liara's Lotsb face model and who knows... we might get through to them.
