Actually, I think that the graphics detail of ME3 really brings out the more alien side of her - especially her skin. You can see that it is different - it is much more scaly, and in my opinion she's the most beautiful in the third game because of similar details that the engine allows the game to show.

Theo's got my opinion in one. LotSB brought out the look that I think is best by far on her, and ME3 refined it. So, ME3 is where I think she looks her best, and it is absolutely impressive, and just so alien and exotic, very alluring.

What I like about her ME3 appearance is how bright, vibrant blue she can be under the right lighting, and her eyes really shine, too. As well, Theo makes note of her skin actually appearing scaled in ME3, and you never really noticed that level of detail on her before.

In my opinion, the order of attractiveness with Liara in her appearances goes like this ME3 > LotSB >>> ME1 >>>>> Vanilla ME2.

@Arcataye - oh my god, I'm speechless. Those pictures were just perfect. The first one might become my new avatar. Man, Liara is just so beautiful, I wish she was real.
Thank you so much for uploading this!!

Multiplayer is getting really boring now. Oh well, back to sarcastic hawke.

RE: Romance DLC
If they did it, I think it will only be for the ME2 squad-mates.(But seriously I doubt it will be Jacob..that ship has defiantly sailed.)

RE:Movie
The IMBD page lists both Mshep and Fshep, how that would work, I've no clue.

Try something different for a change - the world's best hat simulator is free to play (as if there was a single person out there who hadn't bought the Orange Box...)

@Yuqi, just as Alex said, you should try and play some TF2. I promise you hours of fun. It's a great game and it turned F2P not so long ago. Add me if you want on steam (rimmler684) and we could play together.
I also suggest you to play other games like Skyrim, Battlefield 3 and Diablo 3. They are brilliant games that will take your mind off ME abit untill the EC is released.

Tbh I'm only doing multiplayer to get the overall battle ready whatever high enough, it's ok but once you realise that all it is is wading through 10 waves of enemies....there really isnt much longevity in it.

As for the DLC, why do you think it will only be for ME2 squad-mates, quite a few people went for a Liara or Kaiden/Ashley romance, not sure if they would be ok with pissing that many people off

If you're looking for new games, DotA2 is going to f2p, and HoN is as well. I play both all the time, and if anyone either already plays, or is considering playing, I'd play with anyone here, or help anyone learn the games.

@TheDonk95 That sounds really cool. I'm definitely looking forward to it.

MP is fun sometimes when u get 5 seconds left and finish hacking the computer with lots of brute and banshee runing around. Ha, they tried to kill my decoys a lot of times, it was fun to watch.

[OFF TOPIC] Just thinking who would you guys/gals put as the most powerful biotic we have come across in the Mass Effect series? Excluding a biotic Shepard. This is who I think, but feel free to disagree, anyway:

My guess would be:

1. Samara/Aria (I'm undecided here)
2. Matriarch Benezia
3. Javik
4. Jack
5. Mornith
6. Liara
7. Kaidan
8. Miranda
9. Wrex
10. Thane

I would say..

Samara
Benezia
Morinth
Aria
Jack
Liara / Javik
Wrex
Kaidan / Miranda (with Kaidan slightly higher)
Thane
Jacob

Can't really agree on Battlefield 3. So lacking compared to the former games, every time I give it a new chance it disappoints me. :(

@Lizardviking, I agree that Battlefield 3 is not as good as BF Vietnam or BF 2, but it's still a good game in my opinion. I really enjoy it.

So slightly off topic but I remember a few weeks ago there was a mention about a new movie Ali Hillis was in called "Nesting". I was finally able to watch it last night and it was great. Ali was absolutely wonderful in it, I couldn't help but smile and laugh the whole time. If you have the opportunity I definitely recommend seeing it.

Wish it was available here. Saw the trailer and thought it looked really good (and I am NOT a rom-com fan).

Ali Hillis' face man; the asymmertical mouth, then those eyes... she could get me to do anything. Dangerous! B)

Yeah, the level of detail in Liara's ME3 model was amazing.

Yeah I ended up renting it on iTunes as that was the only place I could find it.  I'm generally indifferent about romantic comedys; most are mildly entertainin but there are a few good ones and Nesting looked better than most but in all honesty the only reason I cared was because Ali was in it lol.  And yes. . .she is so gorgeous and lovely .

I can't be the only one really peeved at all the moronic Liara hate threads that keep popping up most days.:pinched:Seriously why can't these people find sometime more constructive to do on the forums? There are plenty of characters I don't like for one reason or another but I don't go out of my way to create hate threads and spew short-sighted garbage! Ah well at least this thread is a haven from the stupidity of the rest of the BSN:D

Vent over, now back to more pleasant thoughts, the more I keep reading all the great fanfictions out there the more I realise Liara would make a fantastic mom.  Bioware don't burn us again, this must be an option for the EC at least.^_^

Morinth was as strong as Samara in ME2. Samara is ranked too high or Morinth too low.

Everytime Ali Hillis uses her Liara's voice in interviews, I have goosebumps. She said "Thank you, commander. I will miss you" and it broke my heart. She is really funny and has a passion for her work. :) She did a great job in FFXIII and Kid Icarus too. Ali Hillis and Jennifer Hales are my farvorite VAs. I haven't had a chance to see her performance in acting.

Tell me about it. I've learned to ignore them and instead laugh at their ridiculous reasons for bashing on Liara. I have seen many hate threads, but not one with any constructive criticism, or one that actually points out the real issue - the lack of content for other characters that Liara apparently is at fault for. Instead, people direct their disappointment for reasons I can't possibly fathom at the character who got the most content. I'm sorry, but there are many near-sighted people on the forums that I almost feel sorry for them. The best word to describe them is childish as they result to petty insults to defend their position instead of a civilized discussion.

Sorry if that sounded harsh, but I just came back from reading one such 'insightful' thread.

This definately, I loved that youtube video when she did that. I would have been a puddle on the floor if she would have said they "you stayed loyal to me right?" line in her Liara voice too.Image IPBImage IPB

Most of them are just jealous that they're favorite character or LI either got less content, or less satisfying content than Liara. Rather than complaining about the perceived lack of content for their character, they are ridirecting their anger and bashing Liara. It would be like fans of Liara bashing Tali or Garrus after Mass Effect 2 was released, because they returned as squadmates while Liara did not.

In some cases I can understand their frustration, even if the way they are going about voicing it is silly. If they are fans of Jack or Thane for example, I can understand the disappointment at the lack of content. It makes less sense when the bashing is coming from fans of Tali, when she has been a squadmate in all 3 games (compared to 2 for Liara) and did not suffer from a lack of content in Mass Effect 3.

If their biotic ability was engineered by the Protheans, you're probably right. They must have had their mind-melding reproduction long before they bumped into the Protheans, after all.

That is a good point.

If the Asari biotic ability was entirely developed by the Protheans rather than enhanced, it would probably rule out biotics as being involved in melding.
