The first thing I thought when I saw the ME3 Collector's Edition DLC Promo image was "That equipment she is wearing looks like Samara's Justicar outfit, maybe Liara becomes a Justicar."  I realize she would be young for a Justicar, but hey, she is Liara T'Soni after all and has already accomplished a lot for a young Asari. In some ways, she already seems to have shown qualities that would make her prime Justicar material in my opinion. Devotion to a cause, determination to see her mission through to the end (in many cases by whatever means necessary), fighting the "good fight." Perhaps we could see some situation where she is torn between her new devotion to the Justicar Code and her feelings for Shepard. Anyhow, just throwing it out there.

EDIT:  First post, new page, needs some "blue."

I dont believe she's a teenager, a young adult would fit more.

Here's a better explanation made by IndigoWolfe about it

I recall this being discussed when the images of alternate outfits were first shown.  Anyways one Justicar was more than enough for me, I'd hate it if Liara suddenly adopted a ridiculous code that follows warped deontological ethics.

Is not said what Samara wears is a Justicar outfit. In the codex is written that asaris dont have an establish military uniform (practically they can use what they want), and can be is the same with Justicars.
The headband can be anything, just decoration, a lucky charm, something religious, a family accessory, warrior related, or just the devs giving us some Samara nostalgia

Her becoming a Justicar makes no sense

Liara and Justicar would be a huge problem in my Renegades relationship with her. And I still think the headband is just jewelery like earrings.
Well I hope. :P

I really hope, her current face is just a placeholder, and Bioware are just teasing us. Because this is absolutely not logical and stupid to create a new gorgeous detailed face model which almost everybody likes for just one short dlc.
And she's a teenager, why make her look like a 35-40 y.o. woman?

Liara being a teenager is news to me. When was this established?

Play ME1 and find out.

Played it. I ask again: When was this established?

I highly doubt she even could become a justicar  in the time between Arrival and ME3. Justicars have a very hardcore training that I doubt you can go through in 6 months.

Yeah I don't think she is a teenager (maybe by asari standards) but she definitely acts like a young adult, she does show some teenager traits however

The wiki is your answer once more.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Characters_of_the_Mass_Effect_universe#Liara_T.27Soni

Dr. Liara T'Soni is an asari companion. Although she is 106 years old, in asari terms she is a teenager who is just to enter adulthood...

masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Liara_T'Soni

She was born in 2077, making her "only" 106 — little more than a child in asari terms...
Indeed. Besides.. Paragade Shadow Broker Liara suddenly applying for Justicar training? Give me a break. Besides, Samara said a justicar's life is very difficult, the training is look, hard and has a high casualty rate and the asari has to give up everything from her old life. There's always a personal reason for joining. What reason could Liara possibly have to give up everything and go join a hugely outdated organisation that blindly follows their equally outdated code? Just.. no.

Don't get me wrong, I like Samara. I just feel the whole following a code thing is outdated an no longer fits in the modern ME times.

Again, Here's a better explanation made by IndigoWolfe about it

Liara say in M1 that she spendt most of her adult life in dig sites (last 50 years).

Not even by Asari standards is she a teenager. I have no idea what teenager traits are so I wouldn't know if she showed any.

Haha, pure gold

Back from Gamescom and a rather conflicted ME3 demo (should I spend my time trying to complete the mission or just stare at liara?  )
I didn't get a chance to ask anyone who might be informed about Liaras looks but after seeing the Friday Q&A my hopes are very low for LotSB Liara in ME3. If they have a reason for the change then the "placeholder" is pretty much what we're getting I think. I just hope it'll grow on me, it has to.

Not all of these apply but some do:

1. are self-conscious

2. love to explore & try new things

3. show sudden mood swings

4. don't want their parents to meddle on their hairstyle,etc..

5. prefer to do things on their own

6. demand independence

7. become interested w/ opposite sex

8. are self-centered

@ TMA lol nice comic.

Haha! Those seem like traits you pulled from a few movies. Most teenagers in movies act like most of what's on that list.

Design aspects are not ready yet, so if we're vocal enough could be there's still hope

Ok if you didn't have at least one of those when you were growing up you're either from mars or still prepubescent :)
Also you said that those traits seem to be comon in movies, that is true, traits from real teenagers are complied in teenagers in movies so real teenagers can relate to movie characters. otherwise the whole point would be lost.

Interesing list...  Most of those look like things one gains when moving from childhood to adolescence, but don't necessarily disappear once one reaches adulthood.  So it's probably not the best checklist for making sure someone's a 'teenager'.

So not "teenager" traits, maybe  just natural since we all can go through most of those and still do.

Pff! We grow into adults ONLY after taking out a Thresher Maw on foot. So, so far Wrex, Shep and Grunt are adults. And Mordin and Samara are old geezers.
