It's not Shep's fault however. I mean just look at Liara, who wouldn't fall for so much sweetness. In response to this, I thought it priceless when Kaidan mentioned he thought Liara was "Easy on the eyes" and later the "Just remember lieutenant, I saw her first" by Shepard. I replayed that bit of dialogue almost a dozen times before it started to get boring

After finishing the mission on Therum ask Kaidan for tactical.. something, forgot which. This dialogue will make him reflect on the last mission (as such it'll become unavailable after you did feros, noveria or virmire).

He'll say Liara seems like a sweet girl and is easy on the eyes, and then kind of asks Shepard if he's interested in Liara. Answer with 'Oh I do' will get you the response I mentioned. Answering with 'Do you?' will cause Kaidan to say he has no intention of hitting on Liara but that he'll stick with 'Art appreciation'

haha I remember that, it always gave me a laugh that Kaidan found Liara attractive but never actually admited it (as far as I know) I think he (like most males) has a fascination with the asari, since he comments: "Nice uh... uh view." when entering Chora's Den for the first time ^^ and Ashley makes a comment for him to pick up his tongue lol.

haha I remember that, it always gave me a laugh that Kaidan found Liara attractive but never actually admited it (as far as I know) I think he (like most males) has a fascination with the asari, since he comments: "Nice uh... uh view." when entering Chora's Den for the first time ^^ and Ashley makes a comment for him to pick up his tongue lol.

"Hey lieutenant, put your tongue back in your mouth before you trip on it". Awesome piece of banter right there. It does seem like males of almost all species (except most Krogan) fancy the Asari, Kaidan certainly doesn't need to be embarrassed about it.

Now that I think of it, the Asari are in a bit of an awkward situation. Asari reproducing with other Asari is pretty much 'not done' nowadays but that won't stop Asari from being attracted to each other, like evolution demanded they were for many millenia before meeting other races. I wonder if Liara ever was attracted to another Asari but chose not to act on it because she wasn't supposed to?

I genuially had a theory that Liara and the VS would be together as couple in ME2 after Shepard got killed. And Shepard would have to win his ME1 LI back again. Thank god Bioware did not had such a dumb idea in mind!

Yeah, Liara is a pureblood, so I think the first 20-40 years maybe, she thought of it as nothing special. Maybe she really is atracted to other Asari. Would be quite nice ^^ but I want Liara for myself as long as Shep's still alive.

I don't know, it seems to me Shepard is the first interest Liara ever had in something more intimate.
And of course I see Liara as someone who would go against her society.
She is a little rebel. :happy:

Would be a nice twist if she prefered other asari in her extremly long life. The asari could use some fresh perspective. As far as I understand the asari don't have so many different opinions like humans.
If they believe purebloods are not acceptable, most of them will agree.

I have Liara with both maleShep and femShep even though I prefer femShep.  First game, I've ever prefered a female over a male protaganist.

the femshep/liare seems to be a dominant pairing among the Liara fans (in fanfics anyway ) But i personally prefer maleshep to femshep, I dunno, femshep never clicked with me.

I think it's got to do with the Asari yeah. Asari are, of course, attracted to eachother. Evolution dictates one is attracted to their own species and since a human female has a lot more in common with an Asari than a human male, I can understand why some people feel a Female human + Asari seems more natural. For humans it's in reverse of course, I can see the avarage human male falling for an Asari while straight human females will most likely not be attracted to them.

yay more Liara art and videos...stile crying over not being able to play mass effect 2 anymore.

everyone keeps saying that the red ring gets a free repair but when i look at xbox.com it said its not covered after 3 years when i started a repair request, and then it said at another location that red ring repair is free.

cry i cant see my Liara...

It'll be okay. Either try to get it fixed, or just buy a used white Xbox on the cheap, it is what my friends did.  All that is vitally important is the hard drive. So long as you have that you will still have all your data. Here is some blue to help you get out of your blues:

dayum dayum dayum. yet another thing i will never see on my own because ill never recruit liara so late in the game. i know i havent seen everything but its still frustrating to see evidence that my canon does have limitations

I will never do it again.  And it's not my canon femShep in that video.  I was shocked at Liara's reaction when she was complaining how that fell into Shepard's lap and she felt her years of research was a waste.  It took me a little bit before I responded to it.  I was damn.

Haha, another remark by Kaidan to indicate he's attracted to Liara. Now Liara is sad and upset that Shepard managed to find out in a few weeks what she couldn't in 50 years. Strangely enough, her saying her 50 years studying the protheans is now wasted seems to indicate she was only ever really interested in their dissapearance. Maybe not the nicest of moments but it doesn't look like Liara would go back to studying protheans any time soon. Which leaves a better chance for a Liara + Shepard happily ever after ending.

Can you blame Kaidan, though? 

I'll be honest, I hope every one of Shepard's LI gets a happily ever after ending if people want to go that route. 

Not sure how that will work with Thane, though.

I think is only logical that asari are attracted to eachother. But if is so tabu to have pureblood daughters and 2 of them are a couple and want to have childrens, they always can get a donor i guess. Liara say in ME1 when she speaks about reproduction, that sometimes can be just single encounters.

Could be that Liara was in love with another asari while on Thessia, she never melded before Shepard, but that doesnt mean she never kissed before.

How would Shepard react if while on Thessia he/she encounters one of Liara's ex-girlfriends?
