 OK you guys so the first part of my new fic is up,  Thanks Donk for taking a look at mistake riddled mess that I gave you yesterday,  this part takes place on Therum during the battle/escape of Shepard and co from the volcano and geth.  the next few parts should be up in the coming days.  well here it is 

as always comments and critiques are appreciated and as not to further alienate or reignite a feud with PMC there are no blue baby's anywhere near this fic although if you want you can read my fic "Daddy's Little Girls" and get a childs version of this battle.

How do you think the Liara romance stacks up againts other characters romances and what you didn't
like about it and what did you like?(note that i didn't ask this question with the intent of flaming other
characters or encourage it i just want to know what you think)

Back on topic, the renegade response to the ME3 love scene with Liara was pretty off and kinda weird in context to what Liara was saying beforehand, maybe it makes sense to a new romanced Liara, but not a faithful Shep. I always pick paragon responses when I talk to Liara even when I roll out my renegade Shep, I can't be mean to her but I can be a b*tch to everyone else:devil:

I laughed at that vid.Good friends can pull that sort of thing off without it being weird(, and are able to laugh about it afterwards.)

Pssh Renegade has the better romance, minus a few pyscopathic lines. I will never understand the fascination with Paragons..

I can only put her's against Tali's and while i still think Liara's was done better I have no qualms with Tali's and just chalk it up to the fact that overall Liara's romance was just written superbly throughout three games and was given enough time to develop that by three they felt like they actually belonged together, while IMO Tali's only had a one and half game arc, and while it was still done well I think it would have developed to be close to if not as amazing as Liara's if it was given three games instead of half that.  (I'm counting LOTSB as part of ME2 because i don't believe that the vanilla 2 is a complete game without it.)

I believe that Renegade doesn't have the "Marriage, old age and a lot of little blue children" line
And it doesn't have "All those little blue children will be disappointed I didn't have a speech." "We'll make up a good story for them" in ME3 as a consequence.

Writing:

In ME3 the romance arc  is very disjointed,bi-polar, in-consistant for a loyal playthrough, and quite frankly it should have been exclusive to an import.

The begining (import) is good and Liara refering to Shepard, as Shepard, (and not commander) was a nice touch.  Mars was good, the comfirmation and flatter scene were good, but then it sort of just goes stale.

The writing only picks up again after the citidel 'date' scene and the flirtatious banter in some levels was funny.(Jane's  sarcastic ,'aww were you worried about me?",  on the geth dreadnaughit was  great.) The romance scene before chronos, and the goodbye scene were  fantastic.

A few spelling errors.   Can you put the chars's thoughts in italics, just to differentiate them from the rest? Some of the paragarphs seemed to be mashed up. Nicely written.

Awsome man! Really like. It's better than the first one, although I have to say that it was a bit confusing not having the characters' thoughts in quotes (" ") but other than that- beautiful.

sorry i normally put full fleshed out thoughts in italics eg.) Tiberius thought She has the most beautiful eyes, in order to differentiate from actual spoken dialogue.  thoughts that weren't fully formed act more like description and don't get any special treatment like that.  Its just how i learned from reading and some creative writing teachers

and thanks i'm glad you think i improved on it:D

Don't put me in that position I don't like choosing between my two favorite girls:whistle:.  As far as I'm concerned Tali, Liara, and Ash are really Shepard's Angels *imagines them all striking poses*:innocent:

But in all seriousness I love both of them,  I think that Liara and Shep go together much more naturally and due to that i feel they are the best couple but barely.  Either way though Tali and Liara are along with Garrus my Shep's best friends on the Normandy

Thanks. I have a habit of ignoring Liara's freckles when I sketch. But I make sure to add them when I color it with PS

Great work there! I like it. Only thing I can think of is that you need to work on Liara's face a little more.


A question: What was the asari's equivalent of a human ear called in the lore? Was there a specific term?

Okay I was playing one of my playthrough and I noticed the bartender on illium, Liara's father I can't
find her she doesn't appear in the presidium commons in the cafe area? Can someone explain this

She's only there before the Cerberus invasion. You *might* have to complete the sidequest for an Asari in the hospital too, not sure.

^Yeah I've seen alot of fan arts of Liara on the internet without her freckles... I think this is one of Liara's distinguishing marks and one of the things that makes her so beautiful (I have a thing for women with freckles).

Does anyone know? Do i have to do something in me2. In me2 i talked to Liara's father so why she
hasn't appeared? In one of my playthrough she appears but i haven't seen her on my last playthrough?

^I think you need to go before Priority: The Citadel 1 (when Cerberus attacks), when Liara is sitting at Apollo Cafe you should be able to see her father, talk to her, and then tell Liara to meet up with her.

When the choice appears to go to the other parts of the citadel I went to the Apollo Cafe and didn't see her.
Do i need to come later?

edit: okay i'll just play Me3 and wait for her to appeared on the Apollo Cafe
