EDIT: It was first mentioned in Mass Effect: Revelations, or at least it WAS mentioned in Revelations. Perhaps in another part of the non-game lore.Obsidian Gryphon wrote...
Question - I keep coming across reference to Liara drinking elasa. Is this alcohol mentioned in the games (uh, ME 2 at Eternity or something?)? If so, I must not have been paying attention (or forgotten it).![]()

Mass Effect Revelation ...
"This is elasa," he explained as he filled the glass with a pale green liquid. "From Thessia".
The asari home world. Anderson, nodded, then took a tentative sip. The drink was sharp and cold, but it wasn't exactly unpleasant. The lingering aftertaste was particularly strong, and markedly different from the first sip. It was a bitter flavor, with an undertone of tangy sweetness. It he had to use one word to describe it, he would have said "poignant.
"Not bad," he said approvingly, taking another sip.

Ah! *light bulb goes on*Now I understand why the drink is used in certain settings.
@fluffywalrus and PMC65, thanks!
Another question : is there a site (I don't mean Wiki ME) that lists all things Asari? From every important thing to the most mundane.![]()

What would you guys do if Liara was the only LI who didn't get a LI DLC?

I don't think there will be any LI DLC....a) it's too much work to account for all characters unless everything is located at exactly the same place but even then it's too much voice work I would guess....andit's too much work

Thank you for reading it, and I'm happy that you liked it! I'll read both of yours tomorrow that you posted in this page since it's getting way too late here already.

If there isn't, it'd be neat if someone here made such a database. As an added bonus, you could have a segment devoted to storing all the fanfics and such people post here.
But that's just me kinda throwing out ideas. It's certainly beyond me to create a site like that.

I really loved every chapter of your story - I had a lot to read to catch up, but it was certainly worth it. I really like your writing style, and also you have written every person from Shepard's squad in-character. I could just picture them saying the things they do - as if they were taken out right from the game itself - and this is hard to achieve, and you deserve praise for that. The glossary also helped me out a great deal when reading the story, and it's great that you give background information every now and then that helps the story flow better once a reader's checked it out. Excellent work.lillitheris wrote...

No problem! Can't wait for more Kira & Liara stories. Collars, Rings and Garters was also quite a twist.CrazyGreggy wrote...

Oh, those Cannibals in Vancouver don't stand a chance if Kira decides to test the gift!CrazyGreggy wrote...
Not sure at the moment. I tend to write short ones as I have ideas, but always try to make them gel with the others for a single continuity.
I think Close Enough To Touch stands alone as an episode in that continuity, I may do a Vancouver story for the ME3 opening and Kira's first chance to use the gift
As for Collars, thanks for the comments on that. Writing it felt awkward, but the reactions seem to indicate that this was just how I felt being so close to the project and that once I stepped back from it, well it wasn't actually all that bad

If you'd like to, of course, I'd love it if you gave my Shepard and Liara story a look. I'd really like your opinion as you are obviously adept at writing fan fiction stories and I'm relatively new to the field.
