You really should give Renegade a try, if you push through it there're some really great moments.

Can’t, breaks immersion. Can always watch YouTube.

Haha:lol: Yes, maybe it also explains why the forums are flooded with femshep/Liara pics, stories and whatnots instead of maleshep/Liara.

Hmm... Jen and Ali?? Are you in here somewhere??

With any form of acting you have to research certain elements. Does anyone honestly think, that Jen or Ali havn't (at least once.) googled the character they record for?

I prefer Broshep, but Ican see, and understand the widespread appeal of fshep/liara. It also dosn't help that a Female Shepard is almost  railroaded into a relationship with Liara, because of variables like Thane dying ect ect.

OT: Two V.A's  in Japan (hos characters were LI in an anime series.) actually got married in RL.

They probably have since both Ali and Jen seem to be fans of the characters they voice. But I meant it more as a joke regarding if it actually were Jen and Ali who posted all those pics and other stuff with femshep/Liara:).

As for the railroading: Well, femshep doesn´t have the best selection of LI´s, that´s true. So, if you aren´t interested in romancing Kaiden or Garrus you are pretty screwed (especially if you want to play as a straight Shepard).
But since I fell for Liara back in ME1, I don´t have to be "railroaded" into romancing her, because I´ve already boarded the train^_^

If you are interested in romancing Kaidan, but he died on Virmire, or Garrus — but he died in the SM or you didn’t romance him in ME2, you’re screwed. Or not, to be precise.

Straight female Shepard is the only one who can have 0 LI options in ME3.

If you are interested in romancing either Kaiden or Garrus, you can always choose not to kill them (don´t know what happens to them though, if you start a non-import Shepard in ME3:S). Just because you can kill them, doesn´t mean you have to^_^.

You could even make another that reads the same thing except for Paragons.

Both 100% of either were failures ... Paragon should have died in Mass Effect 1 and Renegade in Mass Effect 2.

I dont knwo if i like what the text says - but the rest of the image including the font is awesome.  I have to do some pondering on a quote...  i would also accept the liara smirk, too. (i used to have a couple well time SS's of a smirk, looking...but have this while I search)

And pretty much yea, said it once say it again 100% of anything(P or/vs R) = insanity/short sightedness/foolishness on both sides.  Witcher 2, that game had some interesting choices to make, loved how they handled (most) of those.

Well, as the saying goes: It´s no use crying over spilt milk. FemShep got shafted on the romances, but I doubt Bioware is going to do anything about it:?.

And yes, you are right, this topic belongs in one of the other threads. My bad:S.

*falls out of chair laughing*  one thing Bioware could never do is give their characters decent broad smiles (anything larger than a smirk gave them a look that was downright psychotic.)

I kind of thought that the big smile in the Jack romance in ME3, was very awesome. It didn't have the creepyness of the ME2 smile.

Hell, if Liara walked into a room with that smile, I would be scared. <.<

I got the feeling that Traynor is a little bit like ME1 Liara, without being so naive. Kind of sad that Cortez and Traynor joined so late in the trilogy. Both of them are really good characters in my opinion.

Agreed, both great new characters, also thought it was pretty lazy that you couldn't talk to the two female soldiers guarding the entrance to the war room. You use that entrance frequently and the scan you have to stay put for a bit, both girls were quite chatty, pity Shep couldn't say anything to them. Seemed pretty wasteful, like in ME2 you could talk to the cerberus crew to an extent, I would have liked to have known more about these two ladies^_^

Well, considering it looked like Tali was trying to rub it in Liara's face, I think it was a proper response.

Who knew that shouldn't? The only people that knew were those close to Shep, or those actually stationed on board the Normandy. Even Barla Von had no idea.

How did wrex know, did mordin leak it...oh that salarian! Hackett she told i think, because well she couldnt get in contact with shep - had to work through someone... Garrus and Tali would know (most of hte m2 squad would know, or at least one of them seeing they had to come along - so maybe not all of them would/should know, just one, and BW slacked on a variable?) The asari government knew she was an information broker, with shady connections *facepalm* no****! (did they know she was THE shadow broker? i dont think so...its been awhile, specific details are getting hazy) Its like that top secret crucible project - EVERYONE knew.

Yeah I agree with you here, I think it would have been better if the only people who knew were those present on the Shadowbroker's ship when you defeated him, Shepard, Feron and whoever your Shep brought along. Anonymity is vital in such a powerful galactic role. If it was just Shep's original crew who knew fair enough I could accept that I trust those peeps but the new crew abroad the alliance ship knew too, worst kept secret ever<_<

The only people I can think of other than TIM (but more on him in a minute) who knew that Liara was the Shadow Broker were squad mates on the Normandy and Hackett. I don't really see the squadmates knowing Liara is the SB that big of a deal, as the last Shadow Broker probably had a key group of lieutenants who knew was the SB as well. They just got whacked when Shepard and Liara (or Liara's mercs) fought their way to the Shadow Broker. It would be impossible to run the organization with no one knowing who was running it.

The bigger issue is that TIM knows that Liara is the Shadow Broker. One of the mistakes the writers made IMO, was having the Hagalaz intel come from Cerberus. This causes two problems: The first is that if LotSB is completed after the suicide mission and the player detonated the Collector Base, TIM shouldn't be emailing Shepard afterwards with information on the Shadow Broker. The detonation of the Collector Base should also end Shepard's affiliation with Cerberus. The second is that going into ME3, one of the main antagonists and an ally of the Reapers knows that Liara is Shadow Broker. One would think TIM could then simply make that knowledge public and undermine her.

Instead the intel that starts the LotSB mission should have come from Liara herself. She was after all, an information broker. The email should have been one from Liara saying she's tracked down the Shadowbroker and needs your help.

That's such a simple solution I don't know why they didn't do that. It also would've made Liara look more competent.

I mean, that's a better idea even if you ignore ME3 entirely, because it's very likely when they wrote LotSB and came up with that, they really didn't know for sure yet what would happen in ME3 - but, as said, even only talking about ME2, it still would've been better for it to come from Liara.

I mean, as you say, even at the end of ME2 you're very likely terminating the Alliance with Cerberus - it's what a Paragon does, and most people play Paragons. So for at least half the fanbase, you have it coming from a guy who, as you say, shouldn't be helping Shepard anymore, and even aside from that, by having it come from him, you've made it so this guy that will be Shep's enemy HAS to know who the new Shadow Broker is.

Yeah I always thought that was pretty inconsistant, I just openly defied TIM wishes, blew the collector base to bits and told him to bascially shove it yet he's still sending me information to help my former crewmate, hmm he took that ...well:huh: Wonder what else I can get away with:D

Although helping Liara has it's perks:wub:^^^

I took Jack on the mission because that chick wasn't the gossip gal ... no girls club for her. Shepard would not have run back onto the Normandy telling everyone as well ... yet everytime you turned around in ME3 there was a "wonda who de shado boka is?" *wink wink at Liara* Image IPB

I would have preferred that they only talked about it when they were alone in her room. Oh, well.

Faulty memory of old man strikes again!
