Most of favorite fanarts of Liara and Shep are from HumanGrotesque. They're simple, beautiful, cute and romantic. ^_^

HumanGrotesque is my hero of all time for his Femshep/Liara art. Amazing, amazing stuff.

OT. I noticed Grunt Lord was the OP of this thread. Wonder what has happened to him. Posted Image

Agreed I love his pieces too. This is a tough question Yuqi, I've sooo many favourites but here are some that I was able to narrow down. There are dozens more but I'll end up with pages of pics^_^

This one I love, it's such a tender sweet moment, Liara and Shep have been through hell together but united in victory, the reapers defeated, now they can finally get the peace they deserve. Hopefully the EC will bring this outcome to life.;)

Posted Image

This one is cute, the roles reversed, Shep is Liara's hopelessly devoted number one fangirl

Found this one recently, a nice stolen moment of blissful happiness:wub:

Posted Image

And this is why I love Liara, no other loves Shepard as much as her:wub:

This is one my favorite fanarts out there, but I really never understood how this was meant to show something taking places far into the future when Shepard is gone. It just seems too happy for something that is bittersweet.

TOP! Give me a second.
Because I like it dammit!
http://desmond.image...jpg&res=landing

That's nice.

The top image is nice but i don't like the justicar head-pieces on liara - they don't suit her face.

and: ugh, far too much femshep for one page.

Ah, yeah, those. Not *bad*, and you're right, the first two are pretty tasteful. The third isn't, but whatever...

Why do you think that one is not tasteful?

moreeman06 wrote...

...and personally i choose to imagine that Liara was waiting for Shep to return from a mission instead of this taking place after he died because goddammit this just captures Liara wonderfully and i refuse to believe that that smirk has nothing to do with a live shepard.

Exactly my thoughts.

I can't really decide as there is so many wonderous ones of her.

I have something special for this one though but I am not sure if it even counts since I believe that it is an editied picture rather than a "painted from the ground up" piece of fanart but I really adore it, it is so serene and happy, I really love it, even despite the fact that it is of ME1 Liara where if prefer her LotSB/ME3 incarnations.

Otherwise I think it is some of those that has been posted, but I also really like this one:

So I haven't come across many of Liara alone, but I find these FShep/Liara ones adorable.

Are you ever going to get a break from the English rain? :D Well, regardless, it's nice to see you around the forums. I've been working on my new story a bit today, and since I have tomorrow mostly free I'm planning to continue reading your own fic!

Oh and definitely looking forward to your new fic! I'm pretty busy tomorrow, but have Saturday evening off work, so if it's up by then, I'm all over it :o

Seriously? Just look at it, man. And the name of it. Liara is an object Shepard has won, slung over his shoulder like a trophy. She may as well be a toy to him.

Think that’s a bit oversensitive, and borderline patronizing.

Edit: although a companion piece with Liara dragging Shepard along in a biotic bubble would be fun. Still, Liara’s always been the passive one.

(sorry... OT again )

One of my old professors is actually trying to get me to go to Palestine for a few months as part of an outreach project he's been running for a few years now - as I understand transit through Israel is required? If I can wrangle the few months off I would love to go, and spend a couple of weeks in Israel while I'm at it. I've heard first-hand how beautiful it is.

And yes... it would be a welcome break from this incessant rain.

Hmm, I never took it like that, since I know the artist loves Liara (if somewhat less emotionally than most of us) I always took it as a game they played or similar, I always took the title as just an joking afterthought to the picture and not actual describtion of what it portrayed.

Might just have been me seeing too optimistically at things as usual Posted Image

Yes I have to say that the weather is very good here. Sunny most of the time, but not too hot (except for June,July and August when there are places in here that it can be 55C...)

It's entitled "The Spoils of War".  The intention is pretty straight-forward.

Thank you Posted Image

Seeing as I have been absent I hope to make up for it by having been somewhat productive Posted Image.

Though It is proving hard to get inspiration for chapter 3 of Spark of Hope I did have inspiration to write a (relatively) little short story serving as an small interlude somehwere between Arrival and ME3.

Not just our neighbours across the water who have a non-existant summer most years, non-stop rain here in Ireland too, plus we just got our asses handed to us by Spain today in the Euros, so today is not a fun day to be Irish, ah  well maybe some more Liara pics may cheer me up;)
