This I find intriguing, the two share something very deep and special now. Seeing how Shepard is frustrated with Cerberus, Collectors, Reapers, and old squad mates I get the feeling this is exactly why Liara acts the way she does in ME2(On Illium) Shepard and Liara are now connected by a special bond. This is also a very convincing reason to stay with Liara in my opinion. :D

sometimes i think about whether or not theres a bleeding effect between bonded partners. does bonding with a strong human psyche like shepards affect liara in ways other species wouldnt have? do serious bond mates have a connection that lingers or significantly affect the psyche of both parties?

theres definitely a physical and neurological link but the long term effects of human and asari bonds havent had much time to manifest. the process is physically exhausting for liara, it has to take a toll some how. i wonder how much that resistance will affect liara in the long run

Just found a comment from someone that said FOX turned ME2 into a G-Rating. I can't be the only that thinks that's preposterous.

[edit] it takes no small stretch of the imagination to conclude that EA and Bioware agreed to completely dodge the FOXNEWS bullet by making romance scenes in ME2 as vanilla as possible. there is no other scenario that would cause such a dramatic shift in the visual representation of romance in the mass effect universe

the only mainstream exposure mass effect recieved was that FOXNEWS report, coverage based on that report and EA, Bioware and the gaming community's outrage over the misrepresentation of the game. there was no other conversation about the game on tv or in mainstream media outlets except the FOXNEWS SE-XBOX story
