And yeah, Liara has some really impressive facial expressions that just really capture subtle emotions well. She's actually a very expressive character, and you can get a lot just from her facial expressions and body language.

I mean, as someone who's been writing fanfiction for nearly two decades, I've come to realize when crossovers do and do not work. These... do not.

Synopsis from FFN: Shepard is stressed dealing with the aftermath of the Reaper War. Added to that, she now has to think of a name for her unborn child. Liara tries to cheer her up by enlisting the help of their friends. Silly, light-hearted fluff.

Thanks! And yeah - exactly - it's certainly impressive just how much emotions an animated character can portray, and I believe that Liara was done exceptionally well. Even way back in ME1, I felt like talking with Liara on the Normandy had the most unique animations, especially when she was embarrassed. We don't see those with other characters. Of course, there are a lot more examples of that in ME3, such as the scene before Cronos Station, which was rendered masterfully in its entirety.Aristobulus500 wrote...
I really enjoy those pictures, Theo. Liara with that Asari architecture in the background is a really cool shot.

Well, I'm also curious to see how they work together, but maybe the author's found a way to make them compatible somehow - I wouldn't know!IliyaMoroumetz wrote...
Theo, is it wrong for me to say that I visibly twitched when I saw what the stories were crossed over with?

That was hilarious, Jen, I'm glad I persuaded you to post it! When you first said 'unhelpful' suggestions, I had no idea just how unhelpful they would really be! And to add, I think Anderson's suggestion would have been 'London', most definitely!noxiuniversitas1 wrote...

Haha, I'm glad you liked it... I laughed quite a bit writing it (definitely needed the laughs after Empty and 15 Seconds), but I'll be the first to admit it's only good because it's so bad
And yeah... I desperately wanted to include Mordin, Ashley, Legion and Anderson (admittedly I'm semi-glad I could omit Thane), but they're dead post-ME 3

I am telling you guys, if I won't see a reunion with Liara or a better goodbye scene, I will be very depressed. And will be crying. Just like after the first time I played the ending of ME3. I hope people in 'high command' at Bioware often checks threads like this, just to know what the fans are thinking about everything (probably not). I really hope they realize the magnitude of how their games changed our (or atleast mine's) life. And I'm not exaggerating, not even a bit. Please god...
(Oh here's that f***ot whining about his emotions again...

After the huge backleash the endings gave, I doubt Bioware would be so damn stupid as to not expand on the "Shepard lives" ending.

There's "only" 10 minutes of stuff and it seems like xbox doesn't allow updates larger than 2GB so they had to limit the size to that, I wonder if they had to cut something from the extended cut.TheDonk95 wrote...

Anyone got any good fanfic where Shepard doesn't die at the end of ME3 and is with Liara? I want something to read, as I'll be ignoring the EC. I wish it the best, just from what I've heard.....Yeah no thanks.
Have you read either Theo's series or Rae's "Can Wait" series?
Theo's is an epilogue with Liara/Shep after ME3, with it being an AU where the starchild etc. didn't happen and it was a typical Reapers defeated ending, and looks to explore what normal life would be like for them afterwards, and to explore Asari/Thessian culture.
He has 3 out so far. Links, in order

Rae's has written a variety of highly explicit fanfics, so your mileage may vary here, but I find the "Can Wait" series to be absolutely fantastic and extremely tasteful despite being explicit. It's a really deep, personal, intimate look at Liara/Fem Shep's relationship, and basically explores the romance scenes throughout the games in more detail and also seeks to make Liara slightly more alien. It's also not an epilogue as you want, but if you're interested in Liara/Shep it's definitely worth reading anyway.

Also, if you read any of these fics, come back here and post your thoughts!

Any more flycam pics of Liara/Sheploo's Romance will be very welcome,

As Aristobulus said Theo has written some, and I can highly recommend those, they are probably the best happy post-ME3 stories I have read.eoinnx03 wrote...

I haven't read yours, but aren't yours bleak depressing stories about Liara and/or Shep dying and dealing with it, or otherwise are fics dealing with the starchild etc. ending?
I tend to just skip over those kinds of fics - it's not that they can't be well written, but it's just not my style.
Correct me if I have you confused with someone else though.
