So what has been the Liaramancers response to EC?
Excellent. Very pleased, very pleased indeed.
Yeppers. Haven't figured out what I'm gonna name her, though.Apathy1989 wrote...

It's either gonna be a badass war goddess, or someone from Celtic myth.

Is Liaras goodbye as tear wrenching as Talis?
Yep.

Never seen Tali´s goodbye scene. But I´m going to say yes; Liara´s goodbye scene was quite the tearjerker. Not that I cried, no, no, not at all:whistle:

I was caught surprise by Liara in ME1. I went for her and stayed with her in all ME games. To be honest, if I were alive in the ME universe, she'd be my girl
Hmm... Okay, but only if I get Shiala.

While I am glad people who wanted to reject the choices finally could so. The only time I would ever consider it would be if my only option was low-EMS destroy.
Refuse is a romantic ending.
By which I mean it sounds nice and lofty to reject all reaper stuffs, so long as you can ignore the part where your friends and lover spend the rest of their relatively short lives in constant pain, dread, and grief, numbers ever-dwindling, on the run, knowing they’re going to lose and it’s only a matter of time before an unkind death.
It’s in every way worse than even a low-EMS Destroy…that’s at least a quicker death.
The only case in which I could see it is if RP’ing not believing the Catalyst.
I should have specified.
I meant I would consider taking refuse from a story telling perspective if the only other option was low EMS destroy.
If you watch the ending speech there it is pretty bleak when you reflect it in comparison to high-EMS destroy. with high EMS Hackett says that if they have learned anything it is the fact that they are strongest when they work together. Then you watch low EMS and you see Hackett talk about how they were not united and they paid for it, and he hopes that those that survived will learn from it and not repeat the same mistakes.
So if the only option is low EMS destroy. I feel from a story telling perspective it is better to have this cycle in the end acknowlegde that they failed to unite, not use the crucible and go down swinging. Hoping that the next cycle will do better. Which is revealed it does.
Just my two cent.
And this thread needs more blue.

Anyways. I like what the EC suggested with LIara not wanting to put the plack up and you breathing, rather than just me roleplaying that the Normandy somehow someday got fixed, and Have a possiblity for a reunion with Liara and thus blue baby paraides ;P. And I very much so like that new scene with Liara. The diologe was so powerful for the small amount that it was. I was all teared up. They felt like such a team there...a couple in all ways.
If only I could just hear it better.... with all the noises, I had to go back and adjust my sound, music, and diologe volume to even hear what she said, though I knew what Liara said because subtitles were on.
I was playing with Maleshep, and that line seemed a little quieter then when Femshep said it, or perhaps it was just the youtube video I watched that had its sound channels adjusted. However I thought that little bit of diologe was very powerfull and emotionally weighty.
Besides Liara I liked the extra diologe with the Catalyst, that helps a lot.
Oh and if you cant tell I just picked the distroy ending with high EMS:)
But I have a question about EDI. The Catalyst said that all synthetic life will be distroyed. Ok, I get that. But my question is, since in the EC ending the Normandy is seen OUTRUNNING the energy wave, Does that mean then that since it never touched the Normandy, EDI was Thus left uneffected? I mean the beam would have to touch her to kill her, right?
Found a new sketch, Its cute, I think:)

If you look closely at the memorial wall in the destroy epilogue you see EDI´s name on it. So, I assume she died:(

That was very well done! I especially like that you used Sheploo and the Destroy ending, since that matches up perfectly with my Shep.
I know right!? Screw control, my Shepard's way too violent and unpredictable to be in control of an army of robotic squid. Thanks for the praise too! I love hearing that people like these videos. I'll keep making tributes if ya'll keep loving them.

Well, we did see the energy beam go from one star system to the next through the mass relays. So, judging form that I assume the energy should be able to hit wherever the Normandy might be.

Yeah you hear an explosion. ONE! The one when you leave the cover of the Mako, After that you hear explosion as well, but you cant say they are from the reaperlweapon. Everytime before you could hear the weapon. But not now? Because they focused the conversation? You can hear the weaponfire of the marines, so, why not the ones from harbi? His weapon is damn loud. Something like this you CANT just miss. And btw. you can see the push to the beam stopped. It stopped when Shep and CO retreat to the Normandy ...
You can hear explosions throughout that entire cutscene. They also sound identical to the impacts of Harbinger's shots earlier, except the volume is lower. Besides the fact that it sounds identical to the impacts and the firing of a Mako should sound different, the tanks/APCs are not seen firing a single shot during the entire beam rush. As for why you only hear the impacts and not the firing of Harbinger's gun itself...for no other reason than so the player can hear Liara and Shepard talk. The sound effects got dialed down for dialogue.

In terms of acting, no, not if you roll a broshep. The english voice guy CLEARLY favors Tali(And then Ashley). Bleh it's all good, I'll hear it in Italian soon anyway.

But when I play my own Shep and Liara said " I am yours" and the way her hand reached out, her facial expression was so sad.
