If it makes you feel better I've been stuck unable to do anything on my fic for about three weeks now. And for like a month before that as well. Recent chapters been slow going.

You know what... this is so true. Everyone can win with the Cain or the Normandy's weapon system, against a Reaper. But if you even attempt to do it with an Avenger, your either stupid or hardcore.

I've been reading this topic/thread for awhile now without posting ever, so hi. and so my first topic of discussion would be. What are your hopes and/or thoughts for a reunion is some future dlc?

p.s Finger crossed they dont focus on during the war. Give post war dlc. slightly of topic sorry but just had to ask

A reunion between Shep and Liara would have made the EC perfect. Maybe one day we'll see it happen!

Hrm, given the autosave completed after the end-game teleports you back to the instant before the Cerberus attack, I'd wager that post-war DLC is unlikely, sad as that may be.
And - I think most people (with a few exceptions ) would want to see blue babies, but I don't think it will be in-game. I'm actually kind of glad (dodges rocks) that blue babies weren't in-game. Unlike a reunion scene, it would have been immensely difficult to do properly, and if mucked up, would ruin the whole concept for many people.

So - its just in the realms of headcanon for now, methinks.

It seems these days are great for creativity, I usually can't write more than 500 words a day but yesterday I managed 2600 and an adidtional 1250 yet today. Hopefully I can get something up soon and be able to continue on my longer fic.

Completely agree. Until then, however, we'll unfortunately (or fortunately) have to make do with headcanon / fanfiction.

It's actually chapter 2 to "Forever As One". I know I said it was going to be a one-shot, but apparently, from the reception, there is much demand for Liara and Shep happy times post-Reaper War

Hi and welcome.

While I dealy hope we get more romance material, either romance-oriented or with just having a few scenes along whetever else we are doing I doubt that we get anything not related to the war since that is more or less what ME3 is all about; stopping the Reapers. So it might feel kind of strange doing somehting completly else.
It worked well in ME2 with LotSB but the Collectors are a tiny problem compared to the Reapers themselves.

I do not think that we will get a post-war DLC, not only are there too many variables to keep track of from the three different endings but what would we do and in the case of a non-Destroy ending who would do so? 

I would love a reunion DLC I just can't see it being practical since save for a few (no doubt awesome and beautiful) scenes where they meet there really is not that much to do or create.
I also agree with Jen while little blue babies are a lovely concept it would be hard to get right without ruining it for a lot of people.

Sorry for the negativity here.
I still would love a DLC that expanded on Thessia to the degree of Tuchanka or Rannoch above all else, especially if we get the change to do something to help rather than just abandon them to their fate.

My problem is that I don't write linear so there are four chapters waiting on bridges to connect them ... and those bridges (chapters) just aren't coming to my laptop. So instead of looking at a blank page I've started playing Witcher 2 and falling for Triss. Love that character ... and yes, Dragon Age put back on the shelf.

I just cannot get into that game no matter how many times I try.

True, but Should not be hard to patch prior to the dlc launch or maybe since you can import a ME3 character to start a new campaign with all the stuff you had before diving head first into Priority: Earth. Or Maybe having it as a single mini campaign like the old expansion packs you use to have to buy for like warcraft 3 etc, just releasing it as DLC.

Also, I have to agree that if it was included to EC it would have been have made the EC perfect, however since that not the case, I would be over the moon with a short ingame reunion, just a couple of mins long, not saying that it has to have conversation options or anything.
Slightly getting off-topic now but it would be nice to see what Shepard does after being saved/recovered from the citedel,(If picking destoy) But thats most likely left to headcanon, like you said.

Last note, I have read your fics. Have to say they're some of my favourites, keep up the good work.

I don't like to hurt Liara (*gasp* I wonder if that will change with Ari around...), so Shep has to take the brunt of the damage when I want an excuse for them to get closer. She's had three severe injuries over 20+ chapters. 1 from Eden Prime (canon), 1 from protecting Liara, and 1 because she was too stubborn to let Liara help her.

Edit: oh, and the one-shot Sheps are basically one and the same as the Shep from Nova et Vetera. See how much Liara changes her?

I should probably clarify that by "severely injured", I probably write it as "near-death", lol. Mavqt is right in that Shep does get injured a lot. But hey, being a reckless, potty-mouthed vanguard with nothing to live for kinda does that to you...

I have not read the longer one, but from the one-sjots Liara certainly changed that.

I wouldn't advise it if you don't want to see the dark person Shep was before Liara turned her life around (well, she's starting to, anyway ). Also, Shep swears... a lot. I think she uses more swear words in some chapters than I have in a year

You know, that image is kindof poorly done, and it's made me realize something - I don't think I've ever seen a really well done image of Shep/Liara just enjoying themselves on a beach. I'd really love to, because it's a concept that's just very appealing to me, a beach being one of my favorite peaceful settings, but it just seems like, people with real talent either don't make beach scenes when they do Shep/Liara, or they make a huge group shots where it's not about Shep/Liara as a focus.

Even just Liara, if we extend it to that and not an ideal Shep/Liara, I still haven't really seen anything. It's strange, I have trouble believing such a simple concept nobody has really tackled well, but I just haven't seen it.
