Any thread about romances will eventually fill up with Liara haters, it's just a matter of time.

I don't want a romantic DLC. (If it was the DA team that would write it, then maybe.) I just prefer the DA romances over the me ones.

Could I ask a quick question? I'm trying to make sure I haven't missed any dialogue with Liara in the game. I've seen this quoted a few times...anyone know anything about it?

Shepard: Sometimes it feels like the whole damn galaxy is trying to kill me.
Liara: It should have picked an easier fight.

When does this dialogue take place?

Its LOTSB cabin scene,  I think? (and I'm pretty sure its a rengade line.)

Haha:lol: So, true. It´s puzzling how the haters are so intense in raging against a character they dislike, instead of just talking about the ones they actually like. 

And that analogue is quit fitting on many Liara haters: Instead of wanting more content for their favorite LI´s they apparentely want less content for Liara:blink:

True but I guess its a question of the timeline between that scene and the breathing scene really.

EDIT: Also why would she/he stand there with it in there hands if they knew Shepard was alive?

It's not so that they know Shep is alive, it's that they "know" Shep is alive.  Standing there, holding the name plate gives the LI time to think about Shep both in their mind and their soul, and it's that something within that convinces them that Shep is still alive.  Kinda like in Cast Away how Kelly (Helen Hunt) knew that Chuck (Tom Hanks) was still alive: they had a connection that defied logic and physics, as all of the best romances do.  (What's that tell you about Romeo and Juliet...  )

Speaking of squad banter in DLC, from some of the leaked dialogue of the upcoming DLC it looks like Liara gets a couple of humorous lines. Highlight the text below if you want to take a look. The jokes appear to be romance specific.




"What is it with you and rescuing scientists from dig sites that have been overrun by hostile forces? If you decide to help her take down the Shadow Broker, I'm going to be jealous. And somewhat concerned."





"I don't want any tentacled creature inside your mind... except me."
