If you mean that it looks like it isn't lying on his shoulder than i'd like to say that it's lying, it looks wrong becouse of shadows here are not appearing becouse of something

 Hi. Kinda new to the BSN (somebody will have to teach me how to post links and pictures etc. And I still have no Idea how to get these cool custom avatar's I see around, lol). But after about 3 weeks of lurking, I'll settle in this thread (too much Liara hate for me to handle). All of you seem pretty damn-friendly and as Dedicated to Liara as I am . So yeah, I'll try my best to contribute to this thread and hopefully I will get along with all of you.

Custom Avatar... the way I used to know was using the DA character creator - you can upload your characters (<----), and it works by replacing the character portrait with a different image before it's uploaded. They've removed my custom avatar I had uploaded this way, so I'm not sure if that still works.

Welcome, hope you enjoy yourself here .
We spend most of the time appreciating Liara as well as sharing fanfics and pictures of said asari. 

A few small notes if you did not know already, it is tradition for the person who gets the first post on a new page to post a picture of Liara (or a gif, sometimes of little blue bebies instead etc.) this does not have to be a new one, just one you like.

To post a picture you write the following: [*img]link[/img*] post the link where I have written "link" and remove the *

Here is at least one of the guides to creating custom avatars: http://social.biowar...8720/blog/2142/ I have yet to get it to work, but that probably has more to do with that fact that i have yet to give it a serious try.

As you might have noticed we try to be as friendly as possibly to each other and respect each others' opinions. We also try to avoid discussing mshep vs. femshep as well as bashing other characters (except the starbrat) since everyone got their favourite and several people here likes other characters in addition to Liara.

I think it's more that the hand seems in an unnatural position, it's hard to imagine how Liara could have reached so far and gotten it into that particular position/orientation. To me, it gives the impression that there's another asari behind Shepard and it's her hand on his shoulder, not Liara's. Or maybe that's exactly what you were going for... those damn open-minded asari

Still a really nice render, especially if you're just learning 3dsmax. Looking forward to what else you come up with.

It's always good to try and do the same thing you're trying to get the character model to do, to see if it's possible to bend that way and stuff like that.

Mine still seems to work with the tactic - had to re-upload them a couple days ago but they still stand.

Be patient with 'em sometimes it takes a few minutes for the site to recognize - other times 6-8 hours... *eyes cigar smoking starbuck*

Welcome aboard! It's always nice to see new Liara fans . Akernis pretty much said it all already, so yeah, we're a friendly bunch and unlike the most of the internetz, we keep the discussion civilized here. And I'm sure you'll get along with all of us, don't worry about it. Seems like you already got all the instructions you wanted too, so I'll just leave this for you here as a welcome present of sorts.

Edit: Oh, and one thing. I think BSN has some sort of anti-spam protection thingy, which prevents new users from using images in their posts for some time. So if your pics aren't showing it doesn't necessarily mean you'd done anything wrong with img-codes. Just wait a couple of days (maybe more, dunno...) and try again .

Aha there we go .  Quote me, click on bbcode in standard reply form settings, there ye be finding the image tags and image url - no spaces, direct link, etc.

Happy 4th of July US citizens! Just a quick check in as I get ready to head for the beach, hamburgers, friends and fireworks! Played ME3 yesterday as I struggle in my writer's block and boy does it feel more like a movie then the previous games ... I pick one option and bam! Shepard was off and running by herself for the remainder of the conversation ... "Don't mind me, Shepard! I'll be over here just drinking my diet Coke!"

I agree with Cohina on the VA. As he said different people have different ways of expressing emotion. I think I'm more similar to Meer in this way. I don't often show a ton of emotion. Looking at the evac scene, some people have said they cried at that part. I didn't cry, but that doesn't mean I wasn't feeling the same emotions they were. I felt Meer did an excellent job of showing both the intense pain at leaving Liara behind once again and the resolve he has to end this war once and for all.

Non-emotional person here as well ... Too many tears and I love you start to wear on my nerves (looks at season 5 & 6 of Xena). As someone who likes both Meer and Hale each does a great job excluding the Jacob cougar moment. I do find Meer's moments with Tali more cute and flirty though.

After studying a 50k+ species? Not really. But I can see her wanting to visit places that mean something to Shepard in her study of her ... Savannah, Georgia is on her list for EW Shepard. Customs would only be researched as it also touches on Shepard but just studying Earth and all its wonders? No. I don't see Liara as a humanphile ... or whatever you would call it.

Like humanity they would have evolved from a species that preyed on other animals, and they most likely did as well in their primitive past. As such they would have some level of natural aggression. While they've had a peaceful society for eons (relatively speaking), I imagine their more distant past would also be filled with war, and murder, and greed, and all of the other horrible things that humanity occasionally gets up to. I'm sure Asari ancient history would have no shortage of drama or stories inspired by it.

Agreed ... This is the people with A-Y, justicars and even the Dantius sisters! The asari are not all pure and proper.

Leviathan of Dis? Is that the rogue reaper? Yuck! Would prefer a batarian DLC that would introduce one that Shepard could befriend, work through her past and put more understanding on them. Omega with Aria sounds cool ... but reaper meets Legion? Just not interested really. What next?
