as for the catalyst children.  *in best overly dramatic/stricken voice*  I'm afraid if you unleash them you will doom us all.  don't do it Doozer for all that is right in this world don't do it. *adds in one shedded tear for effect*

I'm sure Liara wonders about this thread all the time.

Haha sorry tinkering with some new gifs with the creator, seeing if i can get 'em to work - forgive the dance back n forth between badass starbuck and wiseass baby sinclair.  Starbuck will be back - she's my default if the baby gif i want doesn't come through.

After a self-imposed week in exile from the BSN thanks to Bioware/EA's great plan to exclude us European PS3 folk from the Extended Cut DLC party<_< I have finally, finally seen it, actually I've just finished it. And I'm relatively satisfied with their effort. They explained the choices much more clearly, still didn't deviate from my original choice of blowing those cuttlefish b*stards up though. The run to the beam scene pure quality, goddamn it we had to leave Liara again, ugh that final goodbye broke my heart. Shepard run away from the light run back into Liara's arms.

The memorial scene, the way Liara hesitates to put Shep's name on the wall, loved it, so bitterweet but it filled me with hope, you know Shep's out there somewhere alive, know go find her. Ideally of course I would have much preferred to have seen a little cut scene of Liara and Shep reuniting on earth or in a hospital etc but with the destroy ending I'm relieved that there is still that glimmer of hope there for Liara to reunite with Shepard one day.

I've managed to catch up somewhat on this thread since the EC was released for you guys/gals, and from it I gather that the generally consensus is most are reasonably satisfied with it. I've also noticed that there has been a reunion of sorts, I'm confused, although I'm relatively new here too, I've been around since the 1500 mark so I'll just politely welcome back those who were MIA. Also welcome new Liara fans too, a week off the BSN was hard, trying to keep the EC spoiler free proved tough but all the fanfics I've read the past week had kept my spirits up, some honourable mentions to Blackdeer7, N.Q. Wilder, FemshepFanSR2, Octoberskys to name a few that I've discovered while waiting. Excellent stories. 

And Jen if you're out there I just wanna tell you god bless you woman for writing that brilliant Femshep/Liara post reaper war fanfic, don't slack now girl I want to hear what you have in store for those crazy kids. It has really cheered me up since being cheated out of a Liara/Shep reuniting scene at the end. I'm hoping to see a bonding ceremony of course and some lil blue kids, go all out. If Bioware won't show us our happily ever after it's up to you now, cough, no pressure.



If they have to rebuild Shep again, these two will put her/him back together. We can rebuild you, we have the technology, you just gotta spend alot of money:D

I know I'm tardy to the party with this piece, goddamn Bioware/EA trolling us European PS3 folk all week long.<_< I can't gush enough on how powerful this little scene was, this scene actually had me tearing up more so than the run to the beam bit. Find Shep Liara, someone has got to repopulate Thessia again, if Wrex can almost single handily sire Krogan broods Shep can sire asari ones too.



This should be enough encouragement Shep to haul you're ass from the rubble and find Liara:wub:

lol an enigma within a maze that escaped a cracked nutshell and dressed up in a cryptic riddle just for fun... with a fine oban scotch or decent rye in either hand.  With a unique fascination of trying on other people's shoes (eh figuratively speakin').  Or maybe im just a drunken rambling idiot - either and or .
Of the authors you listed (blackdeer being in my top 3 authors list) - I like their writing style so much that content doesn't really bother me (like mass effect character depth/writing can distract me from the damaged plot) besides its not my shep or me theyre writing about so it's..ok.  Although I will admit too much of the happy family life will make my teeth hurt and cause me to roll my eyes more frequently, as does a fanfic that lingers on a 'mary sue' shepard - I will still read them, and some of the scenarios or alternative plots they come up with really are interesting.  FemshepSR2 has this story of perfect balance between family, conflict, and romance - i like it.  Also those authors also have an awesome talent of being able to characterize a believable Liara, which is always a plus - no repetitive "thanks for stopping by" autodialogue in those fanfics..ha!

Propping bars is in my veins.  As my father did before me and his father before him.  A long not-so-prestigous line of bar proppers...  

And... *eyes PMC with wide eyes* all right which one of you guys funded the Lazarus project!  Fess up! 
The blue babies just ...ionno they just happened!  There I was having a ricky red and they came out of the air, mounted  on red eyed, rabid lookign, dive bombing storks!  They punched through the ceiling gurgling and squeeling with Ga-Ga-ing vengeance!  The bars barriers didn't stand a chance! They buggared on through 'em! ...im also pretty sure I heard the music "in the hall of the mountain king" playing in the distance...but by the time i noticed it was too late to begin advanced defense preperations.

 Ok you guys so here is ch.2 of Recovery this is starting to get longer than i thought it would be.  I already have the ending written and it looks like this is going to go over 10k words by the time i get through connecting the beginning and end, which also makes it longer than most of my fics including the one shot that this is supposed to connect to the EC.  Oh well enough rambling for those that don't know this is based during and after the EC based off of a high EMS destroy ending, Shepard lives and all that.

After studying a 50k+ species? Not really. But I can see her wanting to visit places that mean something to Shepard in her study of her ... Savannah, Georgia is on her list for EW Shepard. Customs would only be researched as it also touches on Shepard but just studying Earth and all its wonders? No. I don't see Liara as a humanphile ... or whatever you would call it.  

Yes the Italian Shepard  and Liara are most Sexy!! They are my favorite, he has good chemistry with Liara, but not Tali. I find it's quite the opposite in the English version.

I’m not entirely sure why there are so many from this thread in the fanfic support group, but a cursory examination would indicate that a substantial portion of post-ending fic is Liara… the big list of fanfic has huge amounts of Garrus, for example, but mostly pre-ending.

Not that I mind, of course. Plenty of Liara stuff to read whenever I take time off from writing my own.

My last 10 chapters all have had Liara as the main focus, really, so that’s been nice. I think I’ve gotten things settled to a point where I don’t need chapters focusing completely on other characters in the future although, I suppose, there aren’t that many to begin with… *counts* Chapters 1-4 and 15 are the only ones without Liara

Definitely had to do my part and contribute some of my time to that survey. As Aristobulus said, would be nice to see the results here, if possible, once the servey is finished and analyzed .
