Like TheMarshals' Returned, when shep kisses the clay model. I went misty eyed
And Noxiuniversitas' Nova et vetera. And so on and so forth, all brilliant.

Hell everyone, I thought I'd finally come on here and post my first ever piece of Liara fan art. Hope you all like it!
I spent a few days working in 3DS Max and Photoshop on this one, mainly inspired by the Lithograph's that Bioware make.

The image is tagged with "morinth" (among other things), so I'd have thought that it's Morinth, Falere and Rila. The family resemblance was probably intentional.

Yay, new peeps! Welcome Babi_Siha and Batlass8, and welcome back hoodie_gypsy.
About my favourite Liara moment throughout the whole series, It's hard to point out a single scene that would be about all the others in my books. But I really liked LotSB cabin scene, especially when we had to spent the whole vanilla ME2 without Liara. Ofc ME3 romance scene was simply beautiful, so that's definitely one of my favourites, but also all these little bits in ME3, like the "flatterer"-thing and that kind of stuff. But as i said, I can't name my number one Liara scene.
Also lots of great pics guys! Her face in the middle section of that pic reminds me of SamaraPMC65 wrote...

You mean Sanctuary right? oh I hate that placeXilizhra wrote...
Also that Thessia had been more fleshed out and not just a prelude to Cronos Station.
I agree completly with you here.Xilizhra wrote...
I admit, I rather wish Liara had gotten more dialogue...
However, the romance scenes at the end of the game help a lot in making up for this lack; I wish we could interact more explicitly as being bonded, but the quality at the end is a good thing,

^ I dunno, PMC, you rank pretty high…<3
(There are other writers, yes…got a few Liaras in the fanfic thread in my signature.)
I actually like Sanctuary a lot. It's nicely creepy in concept, gives a lot of plot information, and isn't too annoying to play. But I'd prefer for more Thessia/asari in general (though they're marginally less ignored than the salarians are if you cure the genophage). I suppose emphasizing how bad it was in Thessia falling makes sense with the asari being more peacetime-focused than the turians, who are just going to dig in and shoot back, but it was rather discouraging (and we had to leap to Horizon immediately afterward).Akernis wrote...

But yeah I agree, Thessia needs some serious overhauling.I agree completly with you here.Xilizhra wrote...

Oh godddess, I typed my previous replies in Italian. I'm so sorry about that folks,( being multilingual has it's downsides.)
I didn’t notice at first when I read through, and then I thought you were doing that on purpose!

So, I don't think I've ever been by to voice my support for Liara (scratch that, I know that I never have), mostly because it wasn't until doing an ME1, ME2 and ME3 runthrough that I realized what an amazing character arc she has. (One of my Shepards realized it too, and could not dump Kaidan fast enough the fickle, immature thing). In any case, I am coming to terms with my newfound appreciation for Liara, and figured this was as good a support group/rehabilitation facility/cult as I would find.

@PMC: yeah, Balak is intent on shooting you when you run into him, but you can talk him down and during the conversation he reveals how his people were researching the Leviathan (and obviously got indoctrinated then sabotaged the Hegemonies defences). Not sure if there's multiple versions of that dialogue, that's the one I got. He even joins what's left of Batarian forces to your cause in the end.
As for the blue baby spam... we're just getting restless waiting for some more E.W. and Liara goodness :innocent:. Just think of it as our idiotic way of trying to help you get over your writers block
I didn't realise PMC wrote that(fairly new here).
Probably my favourite pre-me1 fan fic. And the continuation is just as good!
*thumbs up*
Edit: Maybe i should start reading sigs from now on.

As a sidenote, I don't think that asari have a word for "girlfriend" or "boyfriend," just using "friend" with a certain tone, given that Shepard makes the jump from "friend" to "I want to spend the rest of my life with you" without Liara batting an eyelash.

I like this idea. It's better than the term I headcanoned, which for some reason was "asarifriend."
Edit: @Yuqi: Thanks for the, um, welcome! This is going to sound creepy, but I actually recognize your name from a comment on a fanfic I wrote that you apparently mentioned over here. It's good to put a BSN member with the name!

Stop teasing. Every time you post I check Unity for another chapter, thinking "well if lili has time to post, must be on downtime between chapters".

Perhaps not anymore; I'm considering changing her name in the wake of ME3 and Diana Allers, to avoid confusion. My top choices for replacements are Jana and Sinead.Batlass8 wrote...
