Oh yeah I agree with you here, light and dark is important but after the way Bioware left us out in the cold in the original endings I became so dispondant and irritated that I retreated into more happier stories to cheer myself up. I'm thankful that they have fixed the broken endings somewhat with the EC, although synthesis is still fundamentally unethical and down right creepy, it's a close second to the worst ending possible in my eyes after reject ending of course. Also in the reject ending that bit with Liara explaining how they tried and failed to stop the reapers in our cycle, ugh it's so sad, thanks Shep your stubborn pride doomed us all<_<




My chosen two my romance and my bromance. A minor little gripe of mine in this scene was I thought Garrus would have argued to continue to follow Shep no matter what happens, Liara of course couldn't go on but Turians are tough SOB's and I would have found this scene more believable if Garrus argued with Shep to fight on to the bitter end and Shep would flat out refused his pleas and ordered him to evacuate with the others. Just a thought:whistle:

The reject ending is such a bummer, thank god for youtube, I'd be pretty peeved if I played through the ending and picked it out of curiosity, priority earth is a long assed mission. Whatever happens to Shep I can live with it but knowing that you doomed everyone to certain death because your pride is at stake pfff the Reapers deserve to continue the cycle if you're that unbelievably arrogant.<_<

Yeah I heard that somewhere too, if you randomly shoot him (which in the original I spent a good few minutes getting trigger happy with him but getting nowhere) it cuts to the reject ending, weird , still I'll never stray from destroy, it's the only choice for me. Yeah it sucks that EDI had to bite the dust but the Geth can be rebuilt, the relays repaired, the Reaper threat is no more, I have enough faith in humanity to not make the same mistake again. And Shep is alive and there is hope that I can see my crew again.

For all the control fans, I'd rather see dead reapers myself:devil:

We must also remember the incredibly flawed logic that synthtics and organics will forever remain in war with one another ahem...  Geth and Quarians co-operating peacefully again facepalm! Retarded circular logic gave me a headache, pity we couldn't call starbrat out on it's bullsh*t<_< 

Still taking the starbrats job would ****** him off though, so that's a positive:D

@PMC: I aim to amuse. That particular Shepard has no illusions about her brain power. She's stupid good, but at least she knows it.

@CrimsonN7: I think the best thing about the EC is that it makes it a lot easier to choose Destroy. It's pretty clear that Starchild is a very glitchy AI, so if he thinks something is a good idea, you probably shouldn't do it. (That said, my renegade Shepards will delight in assuming direct control of his job, and no small part of their satisfaction will be derived from the fact that he outright tells you that he doesn't want to 'die' like that).

No i meant When Shepard dies. I didn't say Shepard's death on destroy. So technically im not wrong. I meant the other endings like synthesis and control. I should have clarified that.

Besides Im sure someone on this thread choosed synthesis or control "coughs" Yuqi "coughs".
