Something I never understood about Asari reproduction. If an Asari-Human couple were to have kids, what would the Asari baby look like, Facial structure wise? Maybe even height wise? (if the human is fairly short) obviously the baby would be an Asari 100% of the time but how would it look? you wouldn't see an Asari with a Turian shaped Nose if her father/mother was a Turian for example. but if a Human father/mother were to, for example, have a peculiar shaped nose would the Asari have a chance to be born with a similar shaped nose? Same thing with personality, would the baby have a quick-temper if the father/mother had a quick-temper as well?
Just something that's been on my mind today that I couldn't figure out. (sorry for the bad English).
Since the asari only copy or replicate their own dna through melding through electrical impulses nothing of the partner is being added that is why asari can reproduce with both men or women because they're not taking any dna from the other partner
No because the asari randomize their own dna during the process or choose the features they would like to incorporate but they take no dna from the partner

1. As I stated countless times, my favorite scene with Liara (and for the record, from the entire ME trilogy in general), is the romance scene from ME3. Words can barley describe how much I LOVE this scene and how I feel when I see it. Absolutley everything about this scene is perfect in my opinion. Not even one thing that is not good. Starting with the music, this is basically the 'Mass Effect 3 Romance Music' but for me, this is Liara's theme. Everytime I hear this beautiful melody I just remind about Liara. I love it so much, so powerful and emotional. It gets me really sad hearing it, but I am still amazed how shockingly beautiful it is. So this is the music through the romance scene. Then comes Liara's facial experssions and 'body language' in this scene. Bioware did an absolutley perfect job in this scene capturing Liara's expressions. From the start of the scene when she says "I wondered where you were.." to the part before they kiss, all of Liara's facial expressions are really brilliant, they really captured her love towards Shepard in her expressions. Even watching this scene muted brings a smile on my face just from watching Liara's beautiful expressions. Next comes the use of words, how touching and emotional this scene is verbaly. This scene has my favorite line from the entire ME series, the part when they both look at the space from the ship's window (I don't want to start writing the entire dialogue). Everytime I watch this part + the music + Liara's expression I am filled with tears, both of joy and sadness. Liara's quality of texture in this part is also really really good and it adds alot to the scene. Liara also has the best sex scene in ME3, but that is a minor thing. There is no more to be said about that scene. Amazing.
2. Next comes the ME1 romance scene. It's not very far away from the ME3 romance scene on my favorite list. This scene is so emotional, almost like the ME3 scene. I love this scene so much, mainly because in this scene Liara overcomes her fears and worries about losing her virginity to Shepard, and she finally says she loves him and wants him, and that she was never more sure about anything in her life than being with Shepard. It warms my heart everytime I watch it. She has become more mature, she feels less shy and more comfortable with Shepard, and that is the main reason I love this scene so much. There is ofcourse, like in the ME3 romance scene, Liara's facial expressions, which are brilliant, especially in the part when they are talking before the sex scene. Then comes the music in this scene. Oh my god, how much I love it. So powerful, so beautiful and so emotional. The perfect romance music for me. It is different from the ME3 romance music, which is more sad, but still absolutley brilliant. But this music has something special in it. Maybe it's the piano playing itself, I don't really know, but I do know that everytime I hear it I shudder (in the good way, ofcourse). Also, the sex scene in the ME1 romance scene is the best in the entire serie, in my opinion. The way she mind melds with Shepard at the beggining of it is amazing. It is really beautiful and heart-warming to see how passionately they make love after Liara was so insecure and shy about it. I love it.
3. Then comes the scene in ME1 at the end of the game, just after the Normandy is getting grounded to the Citadel. That's the scene when Liara and Shepard almost share a kiss, until Joker interrupts them. I love it, especially because you can see how much Liara cares for Shepard and how much she wants the best for him, when she is trying to comfort and relax him when he is angry about the Council's bulls**t and how they grounded the Normandy. Also the part when Liara offers a hand to Shepard and they almsot kiss each other is also really good. I really loved that part. It makes me happy to see how much Liara loves and cares for Shepard.
Then ofcourse there are scenes like the reunion on Illium, and the scene after defeating the SB, and the scene in Shepard cabin in LotSB, which are all very good, but not as the ones that I mentioned, in my opinon.
But enough about me. What are your favorite scenes? Just a small question to break the awkward silence...

Didn't she? I didn't play ME1 (because the controls and combat felt awkward to me having played ME2 first) but a lot of people seem to believe this. I know I do

IIRC, she is talking to Shepard about the joining, and Shep says it sounds pretty intense, and Liara agrees and says something to the effect of "That is why I have never--Um, I mean, THAT IS WHY THE ASARI CHOOSE THEIR PARTNERS CAREFULLY." Which leaves room for interpretation, especially since a few minutes before that she says the union is "more than just sex."
Personally, I go back and forth on this one. I find it totally believable either way. The physical side of the joining isn't really as big of a deal to Liara as the meld is, so depending on how you imagine Liara's pre-ME1 life (or, hell, even her life post-ME1 if Shepard didn't romance her then), it's totally plausible that she's had sex before.

Liara: ... That is why I have never... uh, I mean we must chose our partners with great care.
Shepard: Wait, are you saying this is your first time?
Liara: I am only one-hundred-and-six, barely an adult by asari standards. And I spend most of my time absorbed in my research. I have never really thought about it. Not until I met you.
She certainly has never joined with anyone else before, while it is technically possible that she has had non-joining sex with someone else before it makes little sense to me (provided asari even do that). Liara is a very intimate person I doubt she would ever have been in a casual relationship just for sex, and if she had been in intimate relationship before she would no doubt have thought about Joining with whomever that was.
So no, she never explicitly states "I have never had sex with anyone in my life before" but I think that would be the logical conclusion to draw from her saying that she has never thought of joining with anyone.

1. ME3 Romance before the attack on Cronos Station.
2. The goodbye(s). Hard to pick between the Evac and Gift scenes.
3. LOTSB, Cabin scene. I prefer it after Destroying the Collector base.
Many others hard to really pick but these were the ones that popped into my head first.

1. ME3 Romance scene. I share a lot of the same thoughts with you about that scene.
2. The Evac scene was soo emotional for me because of everything. I cried through the hole scene and the gift scene is for me also 2.
3. After you defeat the Shadow Broker till your date on the Normandy. I know this is more than one scene but personally I think they all belong together.
I have much more favourite scenes like Shepard comforts Liara after Thessia and stays with her.
BUT you said 3.

3. Evac scene before getting blasted by Harbinger (the most emotional scene for me.)

She never said she had or didn't had 'physical' sex, she just said she never mind melded with anyone. But as you guys said, I assumed from the fact that she never mind melded with anyone, and the fact that as Liara said herself, that she spends most of her time alone digging and researching, I think it is quite obvious she is a virgin.

1. The scene after defeating the old SB. So much emotion in this scene, when SHepard breaks through Liara's mask to find the real her again with a powerful kiss.
2. ME3 romance scene. "“It would be easy for a single ship to get lost up there, wouldn't it? To find some place very far away where you could spend the rest of your life in peace…and ...happiness" some parts of me want to drop everything and go with her
3. The evac scene. " I am yours". Hearing this line come from someone who has a thousand years to live, and seeing Liara desperately reaching out for Shep make me smile and sad at a same time.

As to the digs ... I've never understood why people think she would have done all of those alone. Dig sites require help. The bigger the site, the more people ... but even small digs see more than one person. I've always imagined that she worked on the majority of those sites with other asari and salarians with a few studies at sites already excavated on her own. To check out a wall maybe.

When she had her nose in paperwork she was probably more alone in the sense of no one reading with her but even there she might have had people around her ... with her becoming friends with the librarians even.

Though I'd feel bad for Liara if she didn't at least have one of those youthful "high school" relationships if only because in order to know what you want you have to at least know what you don't want. Otherwise it's nothing but fantasy with no root in reality and she seems quite firm and confident in what she wants. The awkwardness stems more from trying to tell Shepard she has an interest than any discomfort with intimacy.

I don't think she did all of them alone that being said as a very young archaeologist with radical ideas about Protheans there are going to be lots of times where nobody will want to help or be willing to fund her expeditions. When I was in University I took history and digs were something my University did quite often in our area, searching for old French outposts or Acadian villages. There are a lot of politics behind these things, the politics being almost as important or in some cases more important than the facts. They also represent a tremendous expenditure of money, people and time. Not to mention all the permits, planning and endless discussions with governmental agencies before you even cut the sod off a lawn.
Someone who is both young and going against the academic establishment is not going to get a dime from anyone so it's far more likely they'll go off on their own. Especially with the galaxy being as vast and as loosely policed as it is, setting up somewhere to dig alone is going to attact less attention the more remote it is and the less stuff you bring.

No it's not. You can't have a character very nearly unable to talk to strangers and make them a "experienced" at the same time. It's called "out of character"If you want her pure as the driven snow or experienced then it is up to you.

Her notes on the ship show that she was sponsored by the University of Serrice and was even excited with working with Professor Henell and her team. She also writes of a Dr. Joshawn and artifacts that we unearthed. Clearly not alone. The same with the Therum site ... University sponsored that as well and looking at the set up she was probably not alone.
Do I think that she went to places at times though on her own? Yes. But I think there was a good mix.

Didn't PMC state that there was a line from Liara were she say that she is not a virgin in the way Shepard thinks? Or did I make that completely up in my head?
