You know, I find it very hard to believe asari are that prolific. There'd be numerous population problems occurring if they live for a thousand years. I think Shepard and Liara would have two children at most.

It's not about opinions - you can have an opinion about Liara, but you can't change her qualities or what has been said about her, because you're essentially turning her into a different character. Having views is expressing actual opinions, not tampering with the character you're a fan of to your liking. As has been said in the game by Liara herself, she's a virgin before meeting Shepard. If you change that about her in writing or any form of fiction, then you're already talking about a different character.

Look peeps, the game leaves it ambiguous enough that it's left up to interpretation (probably on purpose by bioware).  Ergo opinions abound. 

Liara does not, as you say, walk up to Shepard and go, "Hey Shep, I'm a physical sexual virgin.  I've never had physical sex in the way humans interpret that."

But the point of my post (which, ironically, you two seemed to have missed... heh...) is that clearly there is enough wiggle room for differing opinions.  PMC is not the only one who thinks Canon!Liara is not a sexual/physical virgin.  Therefore you touting your own theory as the absolute truth, fact, canon, no opinions allowed seems both arrogant and close-minded.

Thanks for showing the dialog, while I suppose you could still intepret it as her having physcial sex before, but never having melded. I think the dialog leans in favor of her fully being a virgin as we understand it.

I love the idea of a brood of Shepard-T'Soni babies, but I'm inclined to agree with you.  So far I've only ever written them as having one kid (with the possibility of introducing a set of twins in the direct sequel to Business).

Look, I'm not trying to stir the pot.  This place IS  safe haven from petty arguments and fights.  We do this by having intellectual, in depth discussions with differing opionions.  So that's what I took issue with.  Someone trying to argue that their view and ONLY their view was the correct one.  No opinions allowed.


The great thing about this thread is all the different opinions!  All the different stories and interpretations!  And that we are all friendly enough that we are alble to share and listen.  My problem was with the way some members were presenting their intrepretation as fact and then stating that PMC's equally valid intreptation was wrong.

In my headcanon, Liara and Shepard have one daughter, but I think there are also large asari families. We know, for example, that Nassana Dantius has several sisters. I also expect a post-war baby boom

Yay, finally managed to catch up . I've been kinda busy here lately, you know with work and everything, that's why I haven't posted for a few days. Should've never sneaked out of that gigantic group hug of Karmen's, now you see what happens when you do that, you disappear from the thread right away. Karmen, why did you let me go, why didn't you stop me?!

Now that I'm back I feel like I had stepped into a middle of a war zone, seems like virgin Liara vs. non-virgin Liara is the new MShep vs. FShep fight, can we just please stop this, okay guys?  Thank you, much appreciated! I guess I'm with Karmen here though, I haven't really decided if Liara really is a virgin or not, cause actually, that's not that important to me anyway. But I like to here other peeps' view points and opinions, see how they interpret things and so on, that's why I'm on the forum, right?

I see mister Doozer here is planning a raid on our munitions depot. Was it your whiskey I drank at the bar last saturday, is that why you act like that, I remeber you mumbling something about Jameson before, right? So 5 pages until the terms of the treaty are null and void? I think that's a generous estimate. Really this whole thing is like Synthetics versus Organics in that it's a vaguely defined conflict with no end because of reasons which of course makes sense because of facts.

I had an idea for it... it might have been able to bring Samara/Morinth back in for a larger role as well. It involves tying the AY plot from the monastery to Thessia proper, separating the beacon from the Cerberus plot, and implicating a certain matriarch clique in the maintenance of the AY condition itself.

I would have loved to see more of Thessia, but why would you seperate Cerberus from prothean beacon plot? Its rather important that Cerberus winds up getting the data.

Anyway, you don't need to remove Cerberus and Kai Leng from Thessia, you just need to rewrite the entire encounter so its not pathetic and stupid.

I think the problem with more Thessia content is that in order to keep the existing content, you'd have to either show post-destruction Thessia or pre-destruction Thessia.  Post-destruction would kind of be moot, since all you'd be doing is hunting for survivors.  Pre-destruction might be interesting, but then you'd be forced to come up with a reason that the asari aren't mobilizing against the Reapers.

As of 1753 the Biotic Blue Baby Bommadment Brigade will not launch strikes against doozer12 unless promted to do so by the actions of named individual, any attacks on other individuals such as PMC, will be done with care to avoid cathing doozer in the crossfire.
We may still prepare action should the topic of Blue and True demand it.

This treaty will be forfeit if any member of the agreement breaks it by overstepping the other party's rights to their respective viewpoints and preferences.
