I would have loved to see more of Thessia, but why would you seperate Cerberus from prothean beacon plot? Its rather important that Cerberus winds up getting the data.

My version of the game deemphasizes the Catalyst and has Harbinger as the primary villain role, so that part is less necessary. Also, I sort of wanted to put Cerberus into its own arc to justify Miranda having a larger role throughout it.

I think the problem with more Thessia content is that in order to keep the existing content, you'd have to either show post-destruction Thessia or pre-destruction Thessia. Post-destruction would kind of be moot, since all you'd be doing is hunting for survivors. Pre-destruction might be interesting, but then you'd be forced to come up with a reason that the asari aren't mobilizing against the Reapers.

My reason might be that the matriarchal clique that seems to be in charge of much of Thessia has been largely indoctrinated and their forces are stalled. However, I'd give Shepard more of a chance to lighten the blow to Thessia, possibly by bringing down another Reaper at the end of the Thessia arc.

*Eyeing Akernis*  *whispering to Karmen's ear* Karmen, you sure he's dependable? This looks suspicious, you sure he's not an enemy sympathizer? Are we dealing with a traitor over here, or an infiltrator, or a double agent? Triple agent maybe, quadruple agent? Doubletraitorinfiltratoragentsympathiser what ever, something, I dunno... <_<

Ah. I was not aware you were talking about a complete overhaul or rewrite of ME3.

Deemphasizing the catalyst and promoting Harbinger as the primary villain sounds like a neat idea, although I would also greatly reduce the scale of Cerberus and have them be smaller.

So like Shepard has to start an investigation into the matriachs who lead Thessia? I think that could work and easily tie both Samara and Liara into it, with Liara's power as the SB coming into play.

That is still how I think it should have been done to start with.

Indeed. Morinth is also a possibility if she's there. As for the matriarchs, all but one of them have been killed by the Reapers already, and the last one is automatically killed by Samara or Morinth if you have them (as they were responsible for suppressing possible cures of the Ardat-Yakshi condition, desiring to foster the pureblood prejudice as a means of encouraging their species to assimilate).

Wow i don't know if I should cry or laugh. Who cares if she is not a "physical" virgin. It changes nothing,

You don't know many mathematicians, do you? Arguing for the sake of an argument is what we do. :D That excuses me, anyway.

We may still prepare action should the topic of Blue and True demand it.

This treaty will be forfeit if any member of the agreement breaks it by overstepping the other party's rights to their respective viewpoints and preferences.

Yeah, this treaty looks satisfying enough for me. *signs*

KARMEN BACK ME UP HERE, WERE IN THIS TOGETHER! Look Akernis, it's just that err... signing treaties like that... negotiating with the enemy (Although Doozer wasn't our enemy in the first place... at least I think... he was planning to raid our ammo depot though, and that is an hostile action...)... can be kinda suspicious, you know. But now that we actually know what you were negotiating about, you have my full support! Preventing collateral damage and civilian casulties is extremely important of course. We're at your side.

I GOT YO BACK BUDDY.

Now Akernis look... You unilaterally decided to write, sign, and enact a treaty with the opposition.  Does that sound like a loyal team member to you?  DOES IT????

We only went where our suspicions and your actions took us.

But since it seems like you had the blue babies and Liara's best interest at heart... we can put the chair away.

Well, it wasn't that hard of an encryption, now was it? :P

And I have to make my preparations after all. The light, bouncy umbrella that carefully feathers any stray blue babies onto soft nearby surfaces might not work quite as well when 100kg of flesh, cybernetics and hair crash into it ...

There has been some talk recently on the boards about the Mass Effect movies.

If those things ever end up getting made, who do you think should play Liara? Pretending for a moment that you are the casting director, who would you want to cast? If Ali Hillis is your first choice, who would be your second if she were unavailable or the producers had made a decision not to cast the voice actors from the games?

Well I guess having Jilian Murray (forgot her exact name, the girl Liara is modeled after) would be the smartest choice of an actress to be Liara, and having her voice changed through a computer program or something.
Though I'm really againt such a movie to be made, because usually movies that are made after video game really suck and they are just a disgrace to the game itself. I really don't want this to be the case with Mass Effect.

I actually do want it to suck. It won't match anything I want from Shepard (having Maleshep, for instance), and it bombing will hopefully kill any sequel possibilities. I find the very idea loathsome.

Liara’s facial structure is very much not-Hollywood, if you consider going by looks. Masking can do wonders, but still. Someone in the mold of Michelle Williams, Patricia Arquette or Drew Barrymore maybe? (I’m assuming Jillian is out of the running, too, though I dunno if she can act anyway.)

If she’s completely/mostly CGI, there’s no acceptable alternative to Ali. She might even pull it off non-CGI.

I have the same thoughts. It never worked before that a game-based movie was a hit. It was always the opposit...a piece of s**t...well most of the time. I hope we will never see that movie because in my opinion it would cause a big hole of frustration in the ME universe.

Depends what period of time it's set. But either way it will probably turn out like the Doom movie. :(
I remember when I was just a kid playing the orginal Doom on my computer so much fun. Then the movie turned out to be rubish, so I just pretended it was it's own.(Not hard to)

But then again they already have plot, script(sort of) and well flushed out characters.

Fingers crossed for Femshep, but we all know it's going to me Mshep. if they go ahead with it.
