He urges the player to choose synthesis the most, followed by control. The starchild's tone tells you that he's flat-out against destroying his little toy's.Lizardviking wrote...

Shepard dies in control that consciousness known as Shepard ends when the catalyst sucks your brain out and makes a new computer program based on all the info it's flash frying out of your brain. Same with Synthesis, Shepard is eviscerated and demolecularized, the stream of consciousness comes to an end with the destruction of the mind. Even if you said "Oh the Shepard VI is alive now so Shepard is alive" Shepard wouldn't wake up in the VI. The VI at best would be a convincing computer simulation of the now deceased Commander Shepard.
Organic consciousness cannot be transferred from one mind to another. The physical end of the mind is the end of that individual.
No not really. The catalyst hates control aswell, less than destroy, but he loaths the idea of Shepard replacing him.

Other than those two things it's pretty simple.

Bioware is supposed to be rolling out new comics for some of the squadmates, including Liara. What period of Liara's life, if any, would you like to see Bioware flesh out?
Although I'm not big fan of comics in general, I'd like to see them flash out Liara's backstory on *how* she became an information broker. The *why* was explained both in game in the Redemption comic series, but not how she went about transitioning from an archaelogist to an information broker. I think there is a lot of unexplored story content there on how she went about putting together the nuts and bolts of her Illium operation.

Pick the lower option when he explains control.
Shepard: I do not look foward to fighting through this war, only to lose everything I have.
Catalyst: And I do not not look foward to be replaced by you, but I will have no choice but to comply.
And are people forgetting the medium EMS endings? The one where you have just below 2700 EMS (meaning you have not unlocked synthesis), you got the best version of control unlocked, aswell as the next best version of destroy.
And yet, the catalyst acts hostile and hates your guts. Despite the fact that you have the best version of control unlocked? Why would he be angry if he approved of control as well?

People probably forget the medium ems ending, since if you have lower than 3100 EMS, you're pretty much playing the game incorrectly. And nobody wants anything taken away from them, especially since the starchild insists that his method is flawless.Lizardviking wrote...

Realised arguing in some cases is pointless.
Apparently rainbows, ponies, unicorns, hugs, and kisses win wars.

They kind of do? They make all right motivations (as well as instigators - love being a great strength and/or weakness depending on your character), if your that type of person. Part of the whole humanity debate, don't care much for the whole "fight for queen and country".. but fight for your loved ones and their freedoms (as well as your own) and homes is a different matter (hubs of hugs, kisses, affection in some relationships/households). Not unicorns though...i don't trust them either - i won't fight for these. But in high tense moments/situations - it's not really all that appropriate, in my opinion. Is the comfort scene high tense? eh perhaps..kai leng is on the move with the key to victory and your moping with your LI on your ship wallowing in self pity wasting possibly crucial moments of time.. but...meh

Common misconception. Only the first three win wars. The last two start wars. Just ask Helen of Troy....

eh - ponies and unicorns can make a decent meat source i suppose for rations should food sources get scarce - indirectly aiding the march to victory...i have no idea what to do with rainbows on a field of battle, though. Happiness gets locked up in a safe, and doesn't get opened for awhile.

The food sources are probably cooked incorrectly, because you can't hurt the rainbows and ponies!

No what really wins wars are barely inspired, drab, generic pep talks delivered with all the sincerity and passion of a minimum wage worker wishing someone a good morning. All the greats did it like that, from Captain James Lawrence's immortal last words of "Don't worry you'll get another ship eventually," to George S. Patton's "I can't promise you good times, I can't promise you victory but there are free eggs in the mess tent and you can have as many as you want before we leave."
Words of titans that even now spur us to follow them into the steel hail for God, Country and the King. Onwards to fiddler's green my friends!

I cringed when I read the "Comrades.."/ "Soldiers...." options. Cringed even more when Shepard began making those hand gestures.
