Liara and/or anyone else on the Normandy crew? No, they'll take a couple of days to get back to Earth from whatever planet they landed on. In the meantime Shepard is found by allied rescue parties that go searching through the Citadel for survivors.SweeTeeBuns wrote...
Do anyone think Liara (and the rest of the crew) found Shepard after he saved the galaxy?
Assuming the EMS was high enough and Shepard survived.
At least, that's my headcanon...
Yeah I pretty much agree with Frudi's thoughts here. Personally what would have made the high ems destroy ending perfect for me was when Shep takes a breath gives us a few more minutes of a scene where an alliance soldier shouts to his/her commrades that Commander Shepard is alive, and for them to pull Shep from the rubble. Shep battered and bloody, being carried away by the soldiers as the Reapers fall around them, I know headcannon can fix this but I would have preferred concrete fact in that scene.

Yeah, unless you just ignore the Normandy (crash)landing on that planet, it gets pretty hard to come up with a reasonable way of them getting back to Earth in time to help find Shepard. Well, at least I don't want to leave Shepard lying under rubble for a couple of days, all burned and banged up, just so Liara could be the one to find herAkernis wrote...
I think that is the general consensus, even if I would have preferred Liara personally finding Shepard it makes more sense this way.
I've actually had some decent success with Platinum and a fair bit of fun. Played some half dozen matches with two different groups, managed to extract twice and finished wave 10 objectives two more times. The biggest problem was actually finding enough people to fill up the game; but it was worth all the waiting, that was the most fun I've had in ME3 MP in some time.rubynorman wrote...

Sure the relays get repaired. If nothing else we see Wrex and Grunt return to Tuchanka, apparently quite soon after the end of the war (weeks, months, at worst maybe years later).Promises wrote...

I don't think it's a matter of if the relays get repaired, but when. I headcanoned that it takes a couple of years, if for no other reason than to give Shepard and Liara an 'excuse' to stay on Earth for a while

The Liara section at ff.net is updated all the time, and there's always new fanart to enjoy at dA. I'm curious as to how other's perceive it, though.

In terms of fanart and fanfiction, how prolific are Liara fans in comparison to the other character fanbases? Very much. You always see a new fan fic or fan art of Liara. She isn't only one of the most popular characters.
She is one of the most romanced characters in Mass Effect and with one of the most biggest fanbases in Mass Effect. The top three most popular characters are Liara, Tali and Garrus. They are some fans that percieve it as pandering and say it is writer favorism by how much content she gets. She also gets a lot of hate, but it is vastly outnumbered by how many fans like her.
But they are some characters that get a lot of fan created material like Tali, Garrus, VS and some others. Its just that Liara, Garrus and Tali are the most popular and thats why they get a lot of fan created material.

She’s certainly in the top 3 for all content, by my estimate. There is a lot of fic with Garrus and Kaidan, too (kinda odd considering Ash seems more popular in the game—but maybe that’s artist gender imbalance?), and a fair amount of Tali. Another interesting metric is not just the amount of content, but the popularity thereof. For example, I’d say that your average Garrus/Kaidan story might have more readers (but I haven’t done the numbers). There’re probably also differences in the length of the stories—Kaidan tends to have relatively fewer one-shots (many of the commonly cited fics in this thread, for example, are one-shots or otherwise short). That’d be an interesting field of study. Maybe.
If you look at my fanfic list (see signature), you’ll notice significant differences between characters. It’s certainly not wholly representative, but…indicative.

Yeah they can be repaired it will take some time though, they've got plenty of reaper scrap metal and such to start repairs and if Hackett's end speech is anything to go by things look hopeful for the future post reaper invasion.
Also I think the Quarians will more than likely repair the Geth as I don't believe star kids story of them being completly wiped out, when we reunite them Tali is impressed with how advanced the Geth can be in regards to repairing and helping their creators re-adapt into their natural environment, the Quarians need the Geth more so now than ever.
Thinking that I destroyed the Geth really irritated me in the destoy ending as all the work we had to go through to reunite the Geth and the Quarians, getting Legion in ME2, loved him one of my favourite characters in the series and getting the Geth perspective from him we understood their desperation so going through all that just to kill em off, grrr Bioware:pinched:
So I just think Star-kid is just a pretty banged up A.I and I don't believe alot of what he says in particular his dreadful circular logic<_<

In this scene I've never picked the other options, I always asked Liara for her opinion of my Shep, I love that scene:wub: I have no idea what she says if you prompt her what you want her to say in that scene:whistle:

I think one of the things Liara has going for her is that she's romanceable by either FemShep or ManShep, thus increasing her potential fanbase. That said, by my estimation the vast majority of creators of fanart/fanfic are female, which is generally why you'll see a lot of FemShep/Liara fanart/fanfic and less ManShep/Liara. It probably also explains why there's not as much Ashley fic, which is frustrating because I need some insight into Ashley's character for the fic I'm working on and it's a PITA to try and find something that nails it!

Yeah, that could be a part of it. Plus, it’s not like Kaidan’s the most interesting guy in the world—or, well, he seems a little on the bland side for me—but Ash, in particular, didn’t have that much depth to her in the games. She seems a fairly standard marine grunt.
I looked over a couple of the Ash fics in the list since you last mentioned this, but I think Mel’s Ash in DE is still one of the better-developed ones.

I have not tried platinum since I don't play MP for any other reason the just getting enough EMS to get the best ending. Not that it would make much difference I have trouple getting all the way through a silver level and has so far not beaten a gold mission. In general I suck at MP, and am only really good at SP.
My favourite moments are the sweet ones, LotSB post the SB-fight, the sex scenes, the farewells (gift and beam-run) and the timecapsule etc.
But I think the funniest scenes with Liara was probably the car chase and fight on the SB vessel in LotSB. In general I don't think that Liara's romance have very many funny moment, most of it is more along the lines of sweet, not that I mind but I would love to see some more humerous scenes with her, like we hopefully get to see in the new SP DLC.

What is your funniest and favorite Liara/Shepard moment?
Hm. Funniest and favorite? Easy! That moment on Sur'Kesh, if you have Garrus, Shep, and Liara, when the yahg escapes....
"Careful! There goes the next Shadow Broker."
"Could've sworn he was muttering 'T'Soni' the whole time..."
"Not funny!"
@themarshal: As a proud Ash fan, I consider myself well acquainted with fanfiction about her.... In the ME2 thread, most agreed that Badpie and SilverRose write really good interpretations of her. They both see her differently, but they've given her a lot of thought. Hopefully that helps?
Edit:
@Akernis: Yesss, someone else who is... less than apt when it comes to multiplayer. I am unilaterally declaring us bros in this matter.
