I doubt Liara would want to continue with being the Shadow broker, She would probably assign Feron or destroy the network completely. Other than that, (Headcannon wise) start a family with Shepard on Thessia and live happily ever after. (cliche, but whatever)

Hey, guys! I've been working on another story of mine in my Thessian series these last few days and I'm pleased to say that I've finally finished it! For everybody who is interested, the next chapter of Shepard and Liara's post-war lives can be found here: Lost in a Wonder.

I want to thank Aristobulus again for all of the tremendous help he's been as I wrote the story - in all likelihood it would have been much lesser without his help. I really appreciate all the effort and time you spent! Also, thanks to Arcataye for being a beta reader and pointing out some of my bad writing habits!

Anyway, as usual, the fic takes place a year or so after the defeat of the Reapers. With the EC, it can now work as being compatible with the new ending (Destroy), though it will never be really mentioned how exactly they were defeated so that it also works with headcanons.

Image search would be interesting. I seem to have 4 I continuously gravitate to. I’m still not sold on that last piece by Pineapple…it’s wonderful work, but something’s off for me. It could simply be that she’s too thin, missing the familiar softness.

I admit I’m not particularly prolific in answering these questions, mainly because I don’t want to accidentally spoil “Unity” (or tip my hand, in some cases)

In short, I guess I could simply say that the time for being free to decide what she wants to do ‘after’…hasn’t come yet And even I don’t quite know how the sticks are going to fall in the end, so it remains to be seen. There are a few ‘canonical’ options often cited, of course:

1. Shadow Brokering (which, as I’ve tried to stress, is not a part-time job)
2. Archeology/prothean/Reaper studies and/or teaching
3. Government (unlikely)
4. Motherhood (not for a while)
5. Retirement (possible, but unlikely)

@lillitheris:  I've finally gotten up to date with Unity, and I have to say that I'm enjoying it!  I like your alternative/believeable take on post-ME3!  Very nice work!

OMG Manaan!!  I will bring Javik with me, because he will be judgemental of the irritating Selkath!

As for new things to post.... 

Storyboard for 4 panel comic:

Panel 1: Shepard and Liara are sitting on a couch (or on the floor, or on a bench, it doesn’t really matter as long as it’s clear that they’re sitting next to each other doing that awkward ‘are we ready for cuddling or is it too early in the relationship’ thing).  We can see them from the torso up, but the TV blocks anything lower than about mid-chest. They are watching Armageddon. 

TV(1): [In background] Looks like I’m gonna have to break that promise.
TV(2): [In background] I, um… I lied to you too.

SHEP: [Face buried in hands.  Sobbing.] Oh God, this movie!  So sad!

LIARA: [Eyebrow markings raised, arms crossed, incredulous, but smiling a little, thinks Shepard might be joking.] Are you serious?

Panel 2: Same composition as Panel 1
TV: [In background] When I told you that I didn’t wanna… be like you.

SHEP: [Looking up, tears still streaming down her face] Are you serious?  How are you not crying?  This is the saddest of all the things!

LIARA: [Just one eyebrow raised, clearly not buying into Shep’s POV, frowning, doesn’t like the drama]  Even the title of the movie is overdramatic.  Armageddon is supposed to be the end of all.  This asteroid is only threatening Earth.

Panel 3:  Just the faces of Shepard and Liara, set up in that classic kind of fighting videogame ‘opponent/challenger’ style.  Shep is still crying, but her jaw is hanging open, and her eyes are really wide, and pure black.  She should look horrified.  This is the worst, most inhuman thing she has ever heard.  Liara is just barely frowning, sort of glancing off to the side.  Shep is making her feel a little uncomfortable because it's just a bad movie, why are emotions even in play here? 

Panel 4:  Back to sitting on the couches per Panel 1.  Shep is sitting up straight, more composed, but she is still crying, and she has very intense ‘angry eyebrows.’ 

TV: [In background] —everything good that I have inside of me, I have from you.

SHEP: Honestly, T’Soni, are you even human?
LIARA: [Facepalming]

The Kaidan board is rocking with Luciano Costa! The guy is cute! Between his looks and Raphael Sbarge's voice ... Yum!

Bioware did a really great job in ME1 with its characters' faces and voices. From Ashley to Liara to Kaidan ... just a great job. Oh, and then the two Shepard's VO's. The model for John Shepard was good but I've never cared for Jane Shepard in any of them. But that's ok ... I always use custom on my Shep's anyway.

Michael Gamble asked me what my favorite Mass Effect game was and I said ME1. I think it surprised him. I love ME3's combat and ME2's additional characters ... but the first game's story and characters were really the tops for me.

Lol, sorry.    I know the movie's terrible!  I should've made it more clear that this is my headcanon Shepard.  Very immature.  Terrible taste in movies (clearly).

What is it with you and rescuing scientists from dig sites that have been overrun by hostile forces?If you decide to help her take down the Shadow Broker, I'm going to be jealous. And somewhat concerned.Not that I'm complaining, mind you.

Reposting this for the new page. As before I don't want to say a lot to keep from spoiling this one, but I'm just going to say it's easily my favorite of his entire series. Theo really has a way of capturing some powerful emotion.
